  1. I switched the power from a quickcoupler to a hammer. It's completely useless. It's far too slow and there is no enough power to break a cookie.
  2. Yes, but your solution would need more rebuild work. I've made only 3 levers assuming that I won't use quick coupler while digging. Great and pure idea using original parts. Thanks. I've never heard about this part.
  3. Hi guys, I've made a quick and easy MOD adding two more levers to enable operating 3 functions simultaneously. To do it I modified the changeover catch parts boring them out. BTW, I didn't find the axle hole useful in this part, did you? There are some pics: I used these additional parts: I disassembled only these parts: And there is the final effect: You can find more pics here: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjCFcMR
  4. If they didn't know how to build an excavator with a single motor, they should just look through eurobricks forum.
  5. Yes, you're right. But it's only a toy and it would take too much space to mount a clutch to enable releasing a drum.
  6. Hi, I'd like to show you my recent creation. It's Dragline Excavator. I like the geometry of this linkage and the way it works. It's not a big deal. I've just made a new bucket for my previous MOD of 42042 that I posted some time ago.
  7. I played a while in Stud.io. There is the output. https://youtu.be/T6xrUm8E0gs?si=9hkE3seeXtpskmkh
  8. When it comes to the instructions, I wonder if I can even claim the copyright for my design. I don't want to be blamed of plagiarism. My design is based on 42042 and 8043. It's a kind of mix of these two models. The udercarriege and superstructer is based on 42042 and the excavator arm is taken from 8043. BTW, I wonder if the authors of these models are on the Eurobricks forum and what would they say about my design?
  9. Many thanks for all your comments. They really please me. ☺️ Yes, you're right, there are 16 UJs. If you keep motivating me like this, I will think about it. 😁
  10. Thanks for your appreciation. 😀 If I tell you I have calculated it, you won't believe it, will you? And you couldn't be more right. 😉 To be honest, I got it by trial and error. The initial design was very close, so I decided to try different tracks gearing. The result is perfect. I like it.
  11. Hello guys, Do you like oldschool Lego Technic with a single motor and many functions? I hope you would like my excavator. It has only a single PF L motor and is fully functional. It can drive and dig. Enjoy the show 😀
  12. Hi guys, I'd like to present you my Mack in Road Train version.
  13. Let me ask @imurvai two questions about the Brick Controller 2: 1. Does the latest version 3.2 for Android devices support the Buwizz 3.0 all of PoweredUp motor modes: normal, servo and stepper? 2. The same question for LEGO Powered UP HUB 88009?
  14. Let me add something to this topic, namely Semi-trailer with self-steering axles.
  15. Hi guys, I know I'm a bit late to the party but I'd like to show you my version of PoweredUp Mack. It's fully RC, the truck and the trailer. Including the 5th wheel. Additionally I added LED and a rear suspension. Of course not all solutions are my idea. I researched the internet and this topic, compiled the solutions I like and made my version. How do you like it?
  16. Looks quite interesting. Could you please show us any movie with performance of the excavator? Why the pressure is so low?
  17. Thank you guys for your appreciation. IMO the rotating log grab is the crème de la crème of this MOC. I started building it from design of that mechanism and it took me the most of time to develop the compact rotating grab. Without it I wouldn't build the timber trailer because I think that it would be pointless if you couldn't rotate a log while loading.
  18. I'm afraid that Lego pneumatics has no enough power to unload a trailer from a truck in a such configuration. I wish TLG would make something like I made. With RC pneumatics.
  19. ok, I've made a short instruction for the rotating mechanism. The mechanism can rotate a bit more then 180 degrees. I used colourful parts for a better view. I hope it's clear enough. I attached to this mechanism a standard grab from Unimog set. The lime colour parts at the bottom are just for routing the hoses. Have fun rotating whatever you want! ;)
  20. Thanks. Yes, all functions are RC. The trailer has 8 functions. One mechanical - rotation of crane - driven by the tractor PTO. Seven pneumatic functions But only five of them can be operated at once. You have to preselect them by mean of valves on both sides of the trailer. There are two valves controlled by two PF servomotors and an air pump powered by a PF L motor in the trailer. All motors are connected to the BuWizz. The rest of the pneumatic functions are controlled from the tractor. More info about the tractor you can find in this topic:
  21. Thanks, what do you mean by "pneumatic arm", the crane or log grab?
  22. Hi guys, Are there any fans of pneumatics? Do you remember the old 8049 set? I've MODed it a bit. How do you like my version?
  23. Have you tried it under load? Maybe some pins or even dry sand. If it digs something it couldn't be better.
