    Hi the one i am purchasing from is from the german eBay: modellbau.alex.lange That is his eBayname. I would say he has per week all actual sets twice, plus the figs, or most of them sold seperately. Dino

    Hi thanks for the laughting! :) @Topic: I buy myself at an ebay store that sell both, sets without figs and the fig he had taken out. This way i was able to get the MF for 70€ (instead 150€) and Queen Amidala fig for 13€, without the sub. This guy has 35k+ ratings (positive) on ebay. If i add everything he gets out e.g. Lukes Landspeeder, there is only a 10% margin for him, compared to the MRSP. But 10% by 35000+ sold items..... ;) Dino

    Hi i visited the Lego store in the Munich Pasing Arcaden today. They have still one Robie House discounted from 199€ to 139€ because of shelf wear. It is the last one and the set itself is decontinued. I had to pass (at the Pasing Arcaden haha) on this set, my wife would have kill me buying this set. Dino

    Hi you have to find out how many of those figures are exclusive/rare and/or iconic/with high demand. Those figures alone can be 30€ worth. New/rare exclusive are for example the Ewoks and Leia. Luke has a new torso too. Those have higher value than others. The "generic" troopers or rebels, i would say 3-5€ each. Dino

    Hi definitely yes. Even i am an OT fan, i stil like the idea having a gunship when looking at EP2. A set what i would buy for any money would be the final duel on Mustafar when Oni is above loving Anakin, and Anakin is on the ground hating Obi. Yes, i am still a real OT fan, but this scence gave me more goosebumps than the iconic "I am your father", Dino

    Hi Well, i am a bit confused, having the 9398 purchased recently. And now this thing... First: Gratulation Egor, well deserved, very well done! As you are, i am surprised too, that Lego do not change their MRSP, althought there are more parts, and those not only pins. Leds and motor for free! I am wondering why Lego do not sell this just as a modding kit? For those that already have the 9398. I am totally nsure what to do, already looking for ways to get my 9398 away to buy his beauty. For sure this willbe a iconic car for any Technic lover. Good chassis, rare colors, nice design, exclusive, the box.... endless reasons to buy this ;) Do anybody know how many sets each countr with S@H will get? Dino

    Hi i started myself a few month ago and i go this way: I buy full and new sets where the scene/vehicle/starship attracts me and have unique or nice figs. Slave 1 for example. I buy new and sealed sets via ebay that have no figs where i like to have the ship, but still have the figs. The milinium falcon is an example. This way i got the MF for 70€ instead 150€. The Y-Wing is another example. I buy the 10188 DS that gave me most figs that all collectors must have. I personally prefere OT than PT but really dislike TCW figs. If you like PT more, be careful not to run in TCW sets. Sometimes it is hard to differe between PT and TCW sets. Just have a look at the main characters eyes... For example it is very hard to get a good NON TCW Yoda. Most ebay Yodas are TCW and look more like a Gremlin than one of the most powerful Jedi ever. The same is with Count Dooku. If you like both, and both NON TCW, the actual "Duel on Geonosis" set is a must buy for you! Dino

    Hi fred67 had shown a very long list, but as he already said, not a complete one. In some cases such a complete list is impossible to generate. Fot example VW (Volkswagen, german car manufacturer) is still not able to calculate the full costs of a Golf (this car 30 million times sold since '70). VW is just able to estimate the cars costs because the whole thing is that complex. So their only way is to call out a listprice and see what will the the leftover (margin). For sure a Lego set is much more simple but the whole selling/developing/marketing/producing... is still a complex process. Do it is very hard to say exactle where what value of money goes. Dino

    Hi very well done Brickdoctor. Especially in the last weeks we all could have seen how much work you have put into the Star Wars forum (Blogs, Moc-finds.....). You are following Kim Ts footssteps right? That are big ones ;) VERY big ones :) As i ever said to all of my moderators: Do all your work with fun. Do it because you like to do it - do not do it because you have to or someone makes you have to. Most people will realise it if somebody "just do a kind of work" or somebody is really a freak.     Hi i am wondering about some misstakes: For the 42008 green pickup truck they used the word "Hydraulik" instead of pneumatic or PF LAs. The castle 70404 have a break out image, that shows the functionality of the gate. But the text is talking about of combining this set with the smaller watchtower 70402. Dino

    Hi most impressive how you rebuild the classic curved and round style of the old Citroens with BRICkS! I like the most the red and white 2CV which is still popular here in Germany and can be seen regulary on the streets. Those versions often have a rolling roof. Germans nickname for the 2CV is "the duck" :) Dino

    Hi not normal for Germany. There are plenty ways to get diploma in industry or graphic design, media design or similar. All i have seen inthe past looking for your work-sample AND a academic degree. Dino

    Hi interesting. Most impressive that they do not look out for nice diploma and other academic titels. Instead thy purely focus on your actual skills. I like that while i am a person that "can do many things well" without having a specific titel for that. Dino

    Hi all sets can be for girls. Unless you or somebody else is teaching them that particular sets are "for girls" or "not for girls". Even then. if somebody is interested you can not barely change that. Imy childhood i had a friend (a girl) that had more Lego technic than i had... So why not? Good thing, you have "all" themes those girls did not know but now have for the first time to play with. I have a boy and we both own togehter a lot of Lego. I now have a daughter too, and she will learn what kind of Lego we have (City, Technic, Star Wars, modulars...). I will not bump her into Friends until she wants it. "For girls and for boys" only appears in adults minds. Dino
