  1. Prince of Egypt. Ended up showing this in a religious education class I help teach, and must say that I'm very impressed (the soundtrack and cast alone are phenomenal).
  2. Althior drops his head in his hands in retort to the Weather Mage's pun. He brings himself back up, watching his breath in the winter air. "Overthrowing governments seems usual to you? Maybe the job has changed us. I've completed too much work for the Ziegfrieds and the Hinckwells in my stay here. Met the majority of both those families and have a place among their favored employees. Gotten tangled up in some situations I'd prefer not to have been in: Abraxas, Violetta, Mnemosyne-" He cuts himself off, sharply. "I've been tangled in too many strings; The Hinckwells, The Ziegfrieds, The Wolfgang, all of them pulling in a different direction. One of these days, those strings are going to be cut. We just need to figure out which one to hold on to tightly..." He trails off, trying not to get too philosophical, before sticking his hands in his pockets, shivering from the cold. "Would've thought the kid would've given us a rather obvious entrance strategy. Guess the younger employers don't have that sense of ethics," He smirks.
  3. It saddens me that I had not thought of that combo. Honestly, that makes WM look awesome (now just need one of those to make Iron Man's head look less huge).
  4. Keeping the status quo, one terrified child at a time

  5. "Back to your mage roots now Regulus? Not obsessed with scrolls instead of gems again, are you?" He chuckles. "You're honestly suggesting that we ask an inanimate snowman for help?" He turns to the Assassin. "Whatever did you see in this oaf?" He looks back to Arthur "I've done my fair share of blowing myself over obstacles, Maybe you could send your dragon friend to look for a way in? I'd send him to do it, but he'd just halfass his duties as usual," He gestures to Finnegan's faint glow behind the trio. "Breaking into the home of the most powerful Wizards in the free islands doesn't really go well on a resumé, I apologize," He scoffs. "My apologies, then. I'd tell you to grow some backbone, but clearly you can't," He looks back to his companions. "I've been fine. Nothing out of the ordinary..." That was a lie. With the Oculoids still on his mind, the brewing Necropolis at the cemetery, the events in Babeleth, and the child-monster who'd been terrorizing the streets, his life had been anything but ordinary. He shook off his doubt. "What about you, kid? Last I saw you you'd been dealing with some overly-talkative wolf thief. You haven't been hanging around in the hall since then, have you?" Before I forget, stats look good. However, I bought off the Lieutenant's Helm from Alexis a while ago in the hall, so she shouldn't have it in her inventory.
  6. Althior looks up to the impressive manor. He'd been here recently; far too recently, in fact. He'd been tasked with guarding the boy, Blutos, who had apparently brought strange things to the house, assuming the child was to be believed. He turned to his companions, neither of which he was enthused to be accompanying on this trip. Who was to be preferred, his love who screwed his friend or his friend who screwed his love? "Schuester is usually at the door here. Things must be odd indeed..." he says to nobody in particular "If the house is still the same as I remember, the nursery is towards the back of the house. I've never been in the manor uninvited, so getting in discreetly may be an issue, especially since I don't recall any other entrances on this level. I don't think we'll be accepted in if we go to the main door either. Any ideas?"
  7. You'll be surely missed. Benji has become such an interesting character through his development, and I sure hope we can see his story conclude one day.
  8. Althior stops at the Market, selling his Hydra Fang (WP 10), Winged Sandals, Crocodile Purse, and Crocodile Belt. (1450+50+20+30+40=1590). He then makes his way over to Anwyl, handing over his Scepter for numerous upgrades, raising it to WP: 19 (1590-170-180-190=1050). He then adds both of his grating stones to it, raising it to WP: 21. He makes his way over to Portia, purchasing 2 Nostrums (1050-35-35=980). His pockets now a bit lighter, he makes his way back to the hall to be prepped for his quest.
  9. Got myself 70787 Tahu Master of Fire from Target today along with the Evil Wizard, Archaeologist, Egyptian Warrior, Female Cyclops, Space Marine, and 2 Goblins from Series 13. Not too bad if I say so myself.
  10. Althior smiles when he see the post from the Ziegfrieds. He turns around to face the assassin he'd be questing with who had been looking at the board as well. "See you there," He said with a smug look on his face.
  11. Problem solved right there. If you ever pick Eric for a quest, double the value of the reward. Now I wanted on the quest, but not that much. Seriously, though, I'm excited.
  12. See, if Walbartan hadn't been so uptight, we would know what had happened already. Please, don't give anyone any ideas...
  13. Absolutely great as usual, Cap! Daredevil's a favorite of mine, so its nice to see any creations of him starring, especially with the MRM figure as a stand in. I got one a while ago, but the paint on his horns came chipped. I love this brick-built Kingpin much more than your other one, and the broken window and arches look very nice for the feel of this build.
  14. Agreed. It was a nice event for those who wanted to participate, but I feel like Grogmas events do much better for that special, once a year type event.
  15. Docken's Iris Shield reflects Physical Damage I think. That's probably as close as we'll get.
  16. Hobgoblin, Deadshot, and Omega Red are all great! I'm surprised that I haven't seen that head for any Deadshots out there, nor have I seen that torso option for Hobgoblin.
  17. It allows a consumable to be stored in the blade, allowing for the use of it in addition to a normal action. I think they've only shown up in WBD quests.
  18. You could be both, but you can only be one class at a time. For Cannoneer you need Bonaparte Rep and for Artisan you need the special specifications from a marketplace quest. If you are a Cannoneer, you cannot be a Chi Monk (same with Minstrel/Dragoon and Necromancer/Alchemist qualifications). There has only been one quest that grants Artisan-ship (Quest #87), and specific quests either give you Bonaparte Rep for Cannoneer in the reward or you come across it along the way. Your best bet is to just hope for some Bonaparte Rep to pop up in a quest you're on.
  19. Not as far as I can tell. It's nowhere near as flimsy as the new material. It has to be somewhat stiff to keep its shape.
  20. There's a few on flickr. (Like these)
  21. I don't think I could ever narrow it down to only 1 set. I loved building both 21103 The DeLorean Time Machine and 21108 Ghostbusters Ecto-1 if for no other reason than admiring how the sets were designed and how they shaped up into the final product. As for regular system sets, 70809 Lord Business' Evil Lair was a nice experience for the unique design of it, as was 79003 An Unexpected Gathering, though I think that was for all the details they packed into a regular sized set. For D2C's, it comes down between 10236 Ewok Village for the organic looking trees or 10246 Detective's Office for the fresh design of a modular set. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of other greats sets in my possession that I love, but I didn't necessarily love building them all (looking at you Death Star. Why'd I try to build you in a day? )
  22. I think you guys are looking for Madam Hooch. Some nice stuff in here recently! I'm really liking Star Lord and Rocket.
  23. It think it's just Sandy copying and pasting from your first sign up before the class change.
  24. "Tell me again, who was it trying to get me into bed the other night?" "Who knows. I chose the path of the mage, but the path of the necromancer chose me. Some people look towards a god as a higher being. Me, I'm not sure I believe that anymore. I still think there's some sort of a higher power letting things play out and setting us on our paths, whether we do so willingly or not." Althior once again bolds his name under Quest #125, making sure it is clear that he would prefer to help the Ziegfrieds once again.
