  1. Yeah unless there's an obscure reason why they've had to put the Anglia stuff in, it's a very big hint. I'm not sure why the Welsh Dragon is on the base of the plinth though, unless it's a reference to the Common Welsh Green... but what does that have to do with the Ford Anglia?!? My head hurts. Edit: Why is the Anglia trademark notice even there if there's no Anglia in the picture?!? Oh my god my head really hurts
  2. No worries - on the Facebook post, LEGO have changed who can view the post. Most of their posts are set to "Anyone can see", but this post has an icon next to it, indicating that it has custom viewing permissions on it. I've put a screenshot of the post in this thread so everyone here can see it, as at least one user was having trouble seeing it through Facebook. :)
  3. Yeah I meant that it doesn't necessarily have to be in scale/consistent in style with DA. Pin points for connections are easy enough to put in anyway if someone wanted to do that (I personally don't care about it). I would hope that Gringotts would be in scale with DA but it's a set from 2020, we will be in 2022 at the earliest for Gringotts I guess (if at all), so there's no guarantee. Just trying not to get my hopes up for a theoretical set Hope not!
  4. Ah, I'm no Facebook whiz but the post has a Custom setting on it, it looks like. All those others say 'Global' so they may have it set. I can't see what is Custom about it. I have liked LEGO on FB but I can't think of any other rule they'd have set that would apply to me. Sorry for the shoddy quality, to be fair the original image on Facebook is awful quality too when viewed in full. Basically there's a trademark notice for the Ford Anglia in tiny text on the bottom left corner. Hopefully the thing that is "hidden dear to our hearts" is Gringotts with everyones wishlists for the set fulfilled
  5. Sure, does this work? If not, just search LEGO's Facebook page on Google and it should be one of the newer posts. The comments are wild, people getting really excited for the hint of a Ford Anglia? Maybe it's the contest and you win a vintage Ford Anglia from Wales
  6. Have you got a source? Would like to see it :) LEGO are hinting again at something big coming on their Facebook page. For some reason there's a Ford Anglia copyright notice on the image but I can't see any cars in the picture for the life of me. There's also a Welsh Dragon on the plinth that Harry is stood on. Strange...
  7. Watch them make it not compatible with DA now . They could do whatever they wanted with this set, they could even just make a vault playset/dragon escape etc. I'm trying to have no hopes pinned on this ever coming out, and if it did, being in scale with DA, which will be probably at least 2 years old when this set is coming out
  8. Yeahhh I kinda hope they just go full hog but I don't want to get my hopes up :( It would almost hurt less if they stuck to the core cast, rather than adding any more but not completing the full cast of characters
  9. I think based on the Ideas entry, we might get the majority of the dunder mifflin employees, however I'm assuming the bare minimum of Michael, Dwight, Jim and Pam. If they had to pick a few extras, then I'd say Kevin, Angela, Andy and Darryl.
  10. Ooh Vance Refrigeration stickers, Froggy 101 stickers would also look great but I don't know how that would work. Other cool references I hope they get to include. Not expecting any of these but they'd make my heart burst with appreciation. Gosh you could go on forever to be honest with references.. Dwight bobblehead Teapot Stapler in jello Some reference to the Michael Scott Paper Company Sandals Jamaica brochure (rights permitting!) Serenity by Jan A Dundie Creed Thoughts on a monitor WUPHF.com reference Pretzel A bat
  11. Yeah haha, I just like to speculate with an idle mind, to feed the imagination. I don't expect anything at all in reality!
  12. Just to be clear, I was joking when I said all that stuff, I doubt we will get everything everyone wants from that set tbh though I do think they are saving up Gringotts but I can see it being a different scale to DA altogether, look at the castles and how they have changed. And hey the vaults/dragon can all be MOC'd in if people so desire additional stuff. I wish there was something else to talk about other than Gringotts but there is just no news!!! Hopefully we start getting leaks soon, I am parched! Edit: People going to see Cursed Child in London are getting a LEGO treat at their seats, looks like a Slug Club Harry based on the Facebook page!
  13. Consider me ired! Honestly I am a bit annoyed about the news being a contest. Like, who actually cares? I can only suspect they are keeping Gringotts in the vault (heh) knowing how powerful of an impact it will have. I bet they know they will need it when sales dwindle. I am expecting a vault layer (Potter/Philosophers Stone/Weasley/Lestrange), a cart track, a main floor and the Ironbelly. Yes my expectations get more unrealistic with each passing day!!!!!! I never suspected a new video game as Skywalker Saga isnt ojt yet, but it could be on the cards if the execs decide to remake games on their IPs if that game does well? I heard a rumour that they are making a proper MCU focused game too, so it could be real (or it could all be down to Disney milking their franchises tbh)
  14. What if the prize is Dragold imagine the uproar!
  15. Oh no, is that the big tease then do we think? That's really annoying, teasing 'something big coming' which will probably end up being a prize of free lego hp sets.... the people reading those teasers are already fans and so probably already have the sets for gods sake lol
  16. Looks like the Jazz Quarter and The Office (finally!) have been green-lighted!
  17. Yeah I'm hesitant to say video game at this time, although they are covering Star Wars again so they might want to/have no doubt thought about doing the same with their other IPs. Not sure how they could differentiate it from the first games other than using the updated designs and throwing in Fantastic Beasts levels? As at least with the Star Wars game, they have planet exploration to play around with, Episodes 8 and 9, and loads of other stuff to chuck in if they wanted to.
  18. The GWP has landed in some peoples hands, Lego YouTuber SwiftBricks has a video up.. doesn't appear to have Dragold.
  19. I think the distinction that needs to be made is that the Harry Potter playsets are aimed at children therefore DH is harder to incorporate into LEGO's strategy/core demographic for the theme. Which I personally think is bull, but it's what they've said Obviously the Titanic isn't aimed at children and is part of LEGO's push to appeal to adults, people are being dramatic about it. Some people are acting like LEGO are being hypocritical, when they just have different demographics/market for different themes. It's all a bit exaggerated.
  20. Ooh potentially. Flitwicks hair in blond/tan may work too. I tried the Neville/Lupin hair in tan for Draco and it just did not look quite right.
  21. Nice one! The simple customs are the best. Which torso is this?
  22. @williejm Let us know your thoughts on the set when you have it, I personally will probably skip it but still interested in what people think :)
  23. My thoughts - if they were in their advent calendar jumpers it would be a bigger draw, surely.
  24. It's OK! I kind of talked myself around to buying the chess set, but tbh if this doesn't come out in the UK until next January, that will be even better for me. It's very cute, considering it's a GWP probably made of an abundance of spare pieces! I wonder if the Golden minifig stand that came with the Hogwarts Icons set can be customised to also hold all of the Chocolate Frog cards? Maybe extend the plinth vertically to make room.
  25. Quidditch teams would be fantastic, perhaps alongside a new Quidditch set build which must be coming soon. One of each uniform with a random assortment of hair and heads. It's cheap enough to customise a Gryffindor and Slytherin team, but Hufflepuff is still quite rare until that LEGO Book is fully released, and Ravenclaw torsos are still too expensive for as long as they're exclusive to Diagon Alley. Death Eaters would be good but I think for HP they would keep the theme light and do something like Quidditch or another students set.
