  1. Almost want the Ollivander torso in a darker shade (almost like the unnamed wizard also in the accessory pack)!
  2. The inclusion of Fantastic Beasts in the branding is interesting, LEGO aren't done with that franchise yet!
  3. I'm going to MOC a Mike using the Scott Lang head and the Flynn Rider hairpiece (Han Solo's hair but in a darker brown), and some causal clothes! Bit sad about the bedrooms but they'll be easier to MOC compared to trying to MOC Joey's apartment, I'm so excited about this set!
  4. Both apartments! Oh damn this is a definite buy from me.
  5. Ross would look better with the Short Wavy Hair with Part (Han Solo/2018 CMF Ron), unfortunately don't think it's in Black! Wonder if we'll get Chandler in a suit or in a shirt, closer to his fashion around Season 5 - 7.
  6. I wonder what we'll get for Chandler, Joey, Rachel and Phoebe now! I'm predicting a longer haired Rachel, maybe Phoebe in her orange fur coat? Not sure for Joey and Chandler
  7. That's it I believe. The Lego store online has everything confirmed so far - Chamber of Secrets, Fluffys corridor, Myrtle's bathroom, Flying Lessons, Giant Harry and Hermione and a Fawkes. I think that's everything confirmed. The Brickheadz for Harry, Ron Hermione and Hagrid have all been leaked recently. There's a rumoured Brickheadz for Voldemort, Bellatrix and Nagini. And a rumour that the D2C is 'Hogwarts Icons' buildable objects. There's allegedly an accesory pack coming too but no other details on that either. Advent calendar hasn't leaked but I think it's allegedly containing Dudley in his Pyjamas, Griphook and others, sounds like it's based on Philosopher's Stone.
  8. Mike might be easy enough to MOC using the Scott Lang head perhaps? but I don't think he's as iconic as Janice so they might not bother making him for the set? I don't even know that I'd buy Joey's apartment, the colour scheme doesn't pop, they have 2 reclining chairs, the foosball table and the chick and the duck? Is there anything else of note in that apartment? Even if the balcony isn't included at least we will hopefully get the large back window! With a decked out kitchen, the bright colour scheme and Monica's wacky furniture, I'm really hoping this set is done justice.
  9. Yeah I'm expecting the main set, Monica's apartment has so many little details and ornaments, the kitchen is well stocked, so they could really go all out and make it look cosy and homely. The bedrooms don't show up as much, I just hope they include the big window at the back.
  10. Might just be Monicas if they do the kitchen and living area, the window and balcony, the bathroom and the bedrooms.
  11. I sort of agree but I don't think there are enough iconic buildings left to do another set on the scale of the first Diagon Alley - assuming that they capitalize on Gringotts being a standalone set with dragons and vaults etc which I feel like they are more likely to do. Iconic DA buildings left are; Eeylops Owl Emporium, Gringotts, The Leaky Cauldron, Madam Malkin's Robes and Borgin&Burkes (if you count KA, which I think you can, as Lego have done before). You've then got others such as Potage's Cauldrons, Sugarplums, Magical Menagarie, Slug&Jiggers and Broomstix which could be 'filler' like Scribbulus and the Daily Prophet office. For impactful film scenes you have: Gringotts (Harrys first visit, the dragon escape) The Leaky Cauldron (plenty of scenes but most iconic is probably Harry with the monster book of monsters) Borgin&Burkes (Harry's first visit with the creepy hand, also the Malfoys in HBP and the Vanishing Cabinet) Gringotts is obviously the star attraction here in terms of making a set with play value, so I just worry that LEGO won't bother to make a Diagon Alley Pt. 2 but will instead focus on a big Gringotts. I'd love a standalone Gringotts and a smaller Diagon Alley expansion potentially being feasible? I mean my absolute dream is a Diagon Alley Part Two, with Leaky Cauldron, Madam Malkins, Eeylops, Potages, Sugarplums, Slug & Jiggers and Magical Menagarie to be the same width as the 2020 set :)
  12. This is true, Gringotts is the big outlier now and with the vaults and dragons, feels like it could be a set in itself without putting other shops in too. Shops like Madam Malkins and Fortescue's are nice nods to book readers but won't mean a lot to the vast majority and definitely not set-sellers in their own right. I don't think Leaky Cauldron and Borgin & Burkes are set-sellers, they definitely fit more into the flourish&blotts/ollivanders level where they're recognisable but need a bigger building i.e. WWW to increase the worth of the set to the average consumer. Luckily the MOCs are of such good quality that the alley is easily expanded for hardcore enthusiasts, but at a premium to buy all of the bricks. :(
  13. Textorix, I just took down all my Hogwarts to make room for the new one and now wishing I kept it all to create your design, and just make more room for it all. Oh well. Maybe a nice Summer project and will be good to rebuild and reappreciate the design and stickers and all those things.
  14. Such sad news. Maybe next year we will return to DH and then bound to get a Narcissa there.
  15. I have but I just meant in proper HD and being able to see the interior etc.
  16. I'm doing the same but come winter to get a proper Hogsmeade-ish atmosphere (not sure why they didn't save Hogsmeade for a Christmas release!) Again this may be a mix and match, I have seen several Three Broomsticks on Rebrickable and I want the pub to really pop in a Hogsmeade display, can't wait to see what Lego do with it.
  17. Rebrickable or Instagram, I follow the likes of ScarletPatronus and jl.bricks and they frequently tag other creators and I have seen a lot that way. I also just google or youtube harry potter MOCs, theres even a thread on this forum called Custom Harry Potter MOCs or something similar with ideas. Blockwarts.org is another great site. I think firestartoys had some relevant blog posts too. This is true, I am building ScarletPatronus' expansions because they could be mistaken for genuine DA expansions. Unfortunately buying bricks is expensive. Each building is divided into 4 "manuals" (the instructions come in a large pdf) and so I'm buying the manuals and stickers upfront and then building a manual every month or so as the cost of bricks can get high on BrickLink. The Leaky Cauldron is fabulous. I am half expecting SP to release their take on it and then I will decide which version to go with!
  18. Maybe you should look at MOCs, there are some brilliant ones out there including Diagon Alley expansions with crazy good quality stickers and what not to add on. I've also seen Hogsmeades, Hogwarts expansions and so much more. I also look at customising my own figures with other official pieces, so far I have fixed up all of my Ginny's with her CMF face, made a Cho Chang with accurate skintone (Rose Tico head), Charlie Weasley with pieces from the Jurassic World (Chris Pratts characters' clothes, dark orange longish hair, a brown cloak), a HBP Hogwarts Uniform Ron, Uniformed older Ginny and Lavender (Hermiones cardigan), accurate HBP Tonks (Qi'ra hair), Arthur and Molly upgrades (Arthur w/ James Potters' scarf and green cloak, Molly with a red cloak to sort of symbolish her red cardigan/cloak from Battle of Hogwarts). Also using random Gryffindor robes from the CMF and other sets I have made PoA Seamus to go with the trio + Neville + Dean. I've got plans for Tonks using Scarlet Witch from AoU as a base, entire Gryffindor Quidditch Team and will probably make the other teams too if I get bored. Seen plenty online for Aberforth, other students, and the Hogwarts ghosts and Peeves. It's keeping the magic alive for me to be honest.
  19. A Friends CMF with wackier designs would be fun, probably won't ever happen but still. 1. Turkey Head Monica 2. Armadillo Ross 3. Pink Rabbit Chandler 4. Ichiban, Lipstick for Men Joey 5. Bike Helmet Phoebe / Ursula Buffay 6. Rachel... maybe 80s? Can't remember a ridiculous Rachel look. (I just really want Turkey Head Monica)
  20. If they are sticking to that episode for inspiration, perhaps we'll be getting Phoebe on a bike too?!? I don't know if any other sets are iconic enough to warrant a set, maybe Joey and Chandler's apartment with the chick and the duck, foosball table, easy chairs etc? Monica's apartment is so much more colourful that it probably makes for a more pleasing set.
  21. Maybe a modular expansion? Therefore could work standalone.
  22. No I just meant reusing a piece - didn't realise the colour was not available!
  23. Easy enough to customise though, no?
  24. True, that hair is a choice. I'm swapping it out as Monica's apartment is a must get for me.
  25. Hopefully this halfway confirms Harry in his iconic red jumper! Love that the minifigures are still getting new designs. I am always excited for new torso prints.
