    Maybe a way to do it is for Lego to finally come up with a 16x32 and 32x32 regular plate and people can just start building on it, and transfer all the modulars on them. I never build modulars on bare baseplates but on MILS plates/ bases.

    Have to agree, Flowerpot Girl is in the same league as corn guy, chili girl, etc. Perhaps the butterfly girl might qualify as a magical creature, but not the Flowerpot girl. Not a bad idea! What could be for Spring then?

    Maybe they should just make a male fairy. Yup, that ninjago version would be a joke! A challenge for Lego: make a bunraku puppeteer with his puppet! LOL

    They ran out of ideas what items to place in those packs! LOL They should put items in there that are most wanted, like specific-colored helmets and air tanks to make some classic space figs. The LBG helmet and tanks are harder to find now.

    I'll take it a step further... LOL I do think that was a good thought - the CMF should have been Beast, and two other X-men who are not Storm, Wolverine, Cyclops or Magneto. At this rate, we look like we are getting Wolvie in just about every X-men release. I get that he is the Batman of the X-men world, but so many characters out there that also need to be featured.

    If we are ever to allow the Acorn Boy to have some happiness, the we better allow him to have a companion. I don't mid her. She can mingle with the other Forest persons. LOL Oni (Japanese demon or demon-god) Kyudoka (master archer) Itamae (ramen chef) Japanese man wearing a yukata, perhaps wearing a moulded geta Doubt Lego will touch this but, perhaps a gosu-rori Ultraman Sailormoon

    Now I know what's wrong... they either should have extended the flesh color up the forehead or made the hairline come down closer to, but not touching the visor. That blue on the forehead is not supposed to be there.

    That would be quite interesting to see. I can see how adding another floor would make the dominant color more imposing.

    Hmm, perhaps! I wish there was a site where we can do renders of these modulars and interchange their positions.

    This museum really looks like it is dwarfed by other modulars, which are taller. What are you guys planning on placing on either side? I was thinking of placing a park or the botanical garden on either side. But the wide walls would still look bare, unless some climbing plants start creeping up on those walls.

    I collect monofigs and I am still waiting for the day we get an olive green hair. Also dark pearl gray. For light nougat (flesh), I could at least use the egghead bald head.

    I agree that there have been many sub-themes in the CMF series that have not been continued, and could be and should be. It seems that at the moment, Lego has been consistently making: Animal costume (I am all in for more!!!) Forest Fairies (Yes, I want more! Bring on all of Tinkerbelle's friends!!!) More Japanese culture-theme figures!

    They need to redo that piggy - he has no nice celebration clothes! I also wonder how they're going to make a snake costume person. LOL

    Are we ever seeing actual minifigs soon? Or perhaps Lego is just too careful not to break the internet, and also cause a stampede in their stores?

    For DC, didn’t they used to make classic sets alongside movie-based ones as well? I never liked the MCU - mainly personality-based action films (they draw attention to the actors instead of the characters). It was bound to lose its luster over time as the movie-goers get tired of the same antics. I have always felt it was somewhat brave of Lego to tie in all sets with a particular movie. You can never predict how it will do in the box office, and what people’s reactions would be in the long term. And those trickle down to the merchandise.

    I would definitely buy that! Although I can’t see Lego making 12 new bespoke animal costume moulds??? Or they could repeat past ones? They do need to repeat the pig costume guy because he was not dressed in a fancy outfit like the others.

    And yet another one comes to mind… there was that Asian elephant with movable legs from long ago!

    I just realized that the GWP for this year is a departure from the previous years' style. We used to get animals of the zodiac but we are getting a calendar this year instead. Perhaps Lego felt it would be a duplication of the dragon sculpture. It would have been fun to have all 12 animals in a uniform style to display together. I have been on the fence about completing this line for a number of years. Oh well, one less series to collect.

    I wonder where the designer of the Rogue minifig got the idea of that white patch. I googled and googled and all images show either a center patch or a bilateral area - none just on the left. She also does not have any signature pose with the hair only on the right side. Are Marvel Lego minifig designs assigned to actual Marvel fans within the Lego design team, or are they randomly assigned to designers that may not necessarily know anything about the character? If they are licensed characters, shouldn't a Marvel team (Disney) also approve of the final product?

    Looking at it more, I find it interesting that they decided that the dragon headpiece is colored in pearl gold. But at least it has eyes and not just a plain piece. Perhaps this decision was so that it would tie in with the other set, which is predominantly in a somewhat similar color family. I point this out because 2024 will actually be the year of the Green-Wood-Dragon based on the Elements calendar. The year 2023 was the year of the Black-Water-Rabbit, so I don't know if it was just a coincidence that the main set was a parade float. LOL After all, these sets are not just Chinese-themed items for westerners anymore, but are actually designed to appeal to mainlanders. At least the restaurant has a lot of green elements with some wood as well. Maybe I'm just reading too much into it. LOL Can't wait to get my hands on this one!!!
