  1. I would like to know, too. And also if this will be the new schedule each year.
  2. Comics are timeless… In a few years, all the MCU versions, uniforms, iterations will look old.
  3. Two or three small animals in a calendar and I think that’s about it. Perhaps they might put an animal or two in every calendar for a year?
  4. Not opposed to that. But I doubt Lego will put actual mounded animals in there. They will put brick built ones instead. I don’t care for those.
  5. Agree. X-Mansion is probably gonna have either less minifigs, or if the same number then absent leg printing/ repeat elements; mansion will be a facade and not even a dollhouse. I cannot expect them to do a masterpiece Rivendell for a Marvel theme.
  6. All the more they can feature him this coming year and say they haven’t neglected the X-Men, and actually feature the ‘group’ a lot. Lol
  7. As iconic as Wolvie is, he’s been featured ad nauseam. However, I can actually see him in an ugly sweater slashing packages open, featured in an advent calendar.
  8. I wonder which Lego castle/ medieval faction will be featured in the minifig lineup for the village.
  9. I wonder how many color variants they will make of the goat? I can't imagine the Medieval village to have all-white goats.
  10. I would go as far as saying that I dare Lego to produce an X-Men set with no Wolverine. In reality, we will be getting him in just about every upcoming set. I agree with you. They could have just botched the Wolvie minifig in favor of Cyclops. I want Sentinel set with at least three figs. Perhaps four if one has to be a villain.
  11. I am in the minority here because I actually appreciate the fact that Lego made a different style modular. I would have appreciated it if they had three or four different styles and streets to rotate designs each year. But this was criticized. Then most everybody else started wanting modulars (CNY, Marvel, Ninjago, etc). I feel that there are many missing establishments that could not be made in this series because the theme is now fixed on a particular time period or style. This does not bother me in the end if Lego will make them in other series/ lines.
  12. See, everyone, the X-men would save the franchise! Really hope Lego makes some comic based sets, Avengers or otherwise.
  13. TWO FULL baseplates is the only way they could outdo the Assembly Square.
  14. Gorilla and giraffe are CMF costume that have yet to be made into an actual Lego system animals! At least we have the cow for the CNY ox minifig.
  15. Absolutely amazing!
  16. Which ones are we still missing? We've had some in the past: Nighthawk, Starfire, Beast Boy, Cyborg, Raven. I suppose Wonder Girl?
  17. I actually thought of LOTR but wasn't there something in their licensing agreement preventing Lego from making a CMF series, the same way Lego can't make SW CMFs? That is why Lego just keeps making battle packs for SW.
  18. Four (4) years from now! Sigh. I hope that ends up being *grand*. Perhaps they should make a survey then make the most-requested establishment/ building.
  19. Great work! I wish Lego had made this instead of the Cinderella remake for the Disney 100!
  20. Hmmm...looking at which themes have either not gotten any attention from Lego, or have not gotten enough attention relative to its popularity: DC would be great, although some would disagree. This would be a good opportunity to feature the rest of the Suicide Squad. Marvel with classic comics versions of characters. Long-time missing: Heimdall and Odin. Animal Crossing Sonic Muppets 2 Looney Tunes 2 Sesame Street Super Mario (minifigs)
  21. At least the parrot has swirls! That red crab, without any special print, is himself Sebastian! LOL
  22. I think Classic Spaceman is one minifig that fans and non-fans alike will never tire of! After all, it is a Classic! LOL I really don't think anybody would have mind that a new CS color came out. But it didn't. ROTFL! That white thing with blue hair! Haha! The fact that Lego released an employee exclusive with an actual Purple Space tells us that there is some recognition from within Lego that the Classic Spaceman is indeed an important classic figure. What could have been a variation so that the Brown CS with a Blue Astrobaby is not repeated? A novel color CS with TWO new color Astrobabies!!! LOL I feel like Lego went too abstract on a theme that itself was already abstract. They started new characters instead of focusing on freshening up well-loved historic subthemes.
  23. I feel like Lego should pursue making another "Assembly Square type modular" to be its next flagship.
  24. This is interesting. Wonder what the next set will be for Lego X-men, apart from the X-Mansion? Agree about that purple shade.
