  1. When I google 'plush toy', I get whale, cat, dog, owl, penguin. I wonder if it could be any of the above?
  2. That's correct. Maybe this might end up being a case of another Greek Queen (BAM) but actually just a 'green queen'. LOL
  3. Interesting point about being named Cupid... makes me worry about the fig being given a modern treatment, and not mythological. What was Lego's rationale as to why the other mythology figures were not properly named? Because it invokes 'religion'? Or did a company have some sort of patent on the names?
  4. Apparently, purple-colored crabs exist! Not sure about silver ones? LOL
  5. There are 9 War Machine minifigs listed on BL, plus the Iron Patriot, but which ones correspond to the actual comic/ movie versions? https://www.bricklink.com/v2/search.page?q=war machine#T=M https://www.bricklink.com/v2/search.page?q=iron patriot#T=A sh0066 is probably Mk 2 sh0084 is definitely Mk 5 (Iron Patriot) sh0564 is in am MCU jumpsuit - is this a Lego-originated version? sh0646/ 0755/ 0820 share the same head/ torso/ legs but with different weapons backpack - are all 'correct'? sh0819 came with the Iron Man Hall of Armor - is this the correct Mk 1? (For most web sites, there seems to be less than 10 identified versions of armors, but saw one YT video claim there are actually 21?)
  6. Great suggestions!!! I really want Cupid to be Roman mythology-themed! But I like the suggestion for good characters in Halloween costume, as well as other classic halloween characters.
  7. Amazing details! Great job!
  8. I was hoping the long boarder included a medal, but apparently it is not yet an olympic sport. I would really love for Lego to continue the sports champions sub theme in the CMF.
  9. We also need Lego to make a blue and a white lobster. I was going to suggest a brown and tan but those would require a different shape. Hmmm, now I am hungry!
  10. I know the history of the Boogeyman and so as much as it is a "horror theme" fig, I think it deserves its own subcategory. If Lego were to continue this line, I would like to see them make minifigs for characters like Krampus, Oni, etc.
  11. I, too, would like more Roman mythology minifigs!!! The reason why I don't consider the Ocean King as primarily Poseidon, is because there was actually a Poseidon minifig from the Atlantis series! ATL020
  12. Sometimes it makes more sense to buy the set only for minifigs if there are several in there that your are chasing... sometimes they pop up on BL with jacked up prices, then you have to add the shipping cost.
  13. Dark Phoenix would be great!!! If Lego could not release an X-Men-only CMF, then they could perhaps increase the X-Men slots in the next Marvel CMF!
  14. 1. When I google 'beast master', it gives me a He-Man like figure. LOL ... 3. Yay! 4. Yay, yay, yay! More dinos!!! ... 7. Is this a political statement??? Don't get the significance of this??? ... 9. What is so special about this, a printed tile? LOL 10. Love to see more Roman/ Greek mythology figures. 11. Wonder how they will shape a hamster costume??? 12. Another bear???
  15. Well, I was thinking that B&B only needed one more character at a minimum to meet a milestone: Beast. We are getting Belle in her yellow dress, then Lumiere, Mrs. Pots, etc can just be the brick built ones from the Friends line.
  16. Yes, mainly Prince Philip. But perhaps Hans and Kristoff from Frozen as well. Any ideas? I feel like Beauty and the Beast is a low-hanging fruit after they release that Disney 100 set. Gaston in the Villains set, then now Belle by herself in a 'generic' set. Where is Beast? B&B is a major fairy tale in the Disney collection but so far, it has had incremental representation in Lego form. It think this is one theme Lego could successfully exploit in the next few sets. (I would qualify however, that if Lego does go this pathway, Sleeping Beauty will be the one left out since they canceled the Maleficent Dragon set.) It would be great for both Beauty and the Beast and Encanto to complete their main character minifig rosters!
  17. People on Reddit keep saying that Lego might not come around and finally make smaller, cheaper sets. I think this is possible, given the decision for large D2C sets is a Lego decision. However, how "cheap" or "small" will Lego go? Also how many minifigs will they reuse? As a collector, I prefer quality over quantity. Not against smaller sets, but I am afraid Lego might also make the quality "less."
  18. I could not figure out whether Ocean King was supposed to be Poseidon (mythology) or King Triton (Little Mermaid). I think he was more meant to be the latter since there was a mermaid CMF?
  19. Is this the final fig or perhaps a prototype?
  20. Looking at the minidoll Maleficent dragon set, I was thinking it would have been a perfect companion to the Aurora CMF/ mini castle. Has lego released any torso or legs that would approximate that minidoll figure into minifigure form?
  21. That is a very good point! Lego would have to go over the top in printing or accessories to make a groom 'CMF quality'. I could already hear the complaints here. LOL
  22. Isn't it that people nowadays aren't getting married anymore? LOL So Lego is just reflecting social trends. ROTFL Lego should also make a female dwarf warrior, jungle girl, male wearing yukata (male version of kimono girl), and merman. Some characters would be awkward if made into a counterpart-gender minifig (female cabaret singer).
  23. Great to see another Disney fan who knows how to appreciate classics. Some literary pieces have to be taken in the context of its history or the time in which it was written. Classics are indeed classics. And it takes scholarly reading in order completely digest the beauty of these timeless tales. I think indeed, it is a big gamble for Lego to release sets based on an upcoming or recently released movie, regardless of how it will do. The material is untested. Again, I agree with them releasing the Snow White cottage ahead of the movie. But I hope they continue releasing classic-based sets regardless of whether movies are coming or not.
  24. It seems that this IP CMF is generally being received positively by many collectors. I wonder how soon Lego would consider releasing another CMF? In 2 years? I ordered two full sets and now I am really thinking of ordering a third one.
  25. Is there a supply issue with BAM parts? Since the previous batch (green queen, etc.), there has not been much supply, it seems. I have messaged several prolific eBay sellers and they all say that it has been hard to get a complete set since the last batch.
