  1. It was announced officially by LEGO at about this time last year, October 1st I believe.
  2. I don't think it's a common mistake to mix up at least 100+ pieces of black and white with orange and purple
  3. LEGO can't release Spider-man sets based on the movie because they don't have a SONY license. The press release said he and Ock would be comic-book styled New, as you see from the Comic-con images, if you're referring to Batman himself. If you mean Batman in general, yes, as you can tell from not only Comic-Con, but Two-Face's colorsheme
  4. Not necessarily, they could easily be like the last Batman wave and have a movie inspired Batman and maybe a vehicle which appeared in the movie. I'd prefer this as it would give us higher chances of non-movie villians, even though I do want a movie-based Two-Face over the purple/orange one.
  5. Agreed, but all Batman villians are united under Arkham, except for a handful, like Penguin and Catwoman No idea, but I'd prefer the latter (for more villians) Edit: Now that I've reread your post I see that one of your points is that kids won't be old enough to see the movies, but LEGO has a history of licensing to PG-13 movies- * Harry Potter * Prince of Persia * Batman (in general) * Indiana Jones * Star Wars III * Pirates of the Carribbean * Spider-man I & II * Et cetera
  6. It very well could be, though I was hoping for somthing like LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, where you could play through modified versions of episodes of the Animated Series, Brave and The Bold, and some of the movies. I don't know why you're counting out that it won't be a more kid-friendly Arkham Asylum game though, we don't even have a title.
  7. Glad I could help
  8. I don't think that there really is anything about The Hobbitt being a LEGO game, but I am excited for Batman. I hope that they have the sense to add more characters, variations, bossess (for villians), and character variety in hero levels (it got boring having Batman and Robin in every single Hero level).
  9. It could just be the Super Heroes videogame which we've already heard about, but here's news of a LEGO Batman sequel! And even though it's from Brickipedia, they have sourced it
  10. Hmm...I've been misreading that this whole time, even though I still think that they would. Anyway, lets go with this, the majority of the Marvel sets are fouces around The Avengers movie. You know, like Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape, Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout, Quinjet Aerial Battle, and probably Captain America's Avenging Cycle are based on the movie. And LEGO never said Green Lantern was going to be released in a set, I mean, I'd expect it down the road, maybe even as early as the first wave because of his action figure. Riddler and Harley are the ones missing....
  11. If Diagon Alley hadn't been released, there wouldn't of been last year until the mid-year retailer's catalouge came about. And even then, we only had names, numbers, and prices. No pictures.
  12. From Variety, but if you still want to ask LEGO, go ahead: All three, including Superman, say "Preview Edition" on their card, so I think Superman kind of confirms what that means
  13. The Superheroes contest
  14. A little blurry, but it looks nicer here than in the official images, and is that Bruce Wayne I see Probably because this is a specified prize for a contest
  15. Sorry about that. This smaller one's easier on the eyes thankfully
  16. No, the newest picture was posted yesterday and all of the other a week or two ago, better luck next time
  17. Just found this on FBTB.net: I think this was from last night, so tomorrow would be today, at least
  18. So, you're saying that they should down-size the batcopter and upgrade Penguin's submarine? That would be great...
  19. Close, $69.99 That would be great, but I think another Penguin submarine would be more appropriate, seeing as it acted as the villians' home-base in that movie.
  20. I meant the details on his torso
  21. I think I'll try and remove the INTRUDER ALERT! and picture of the drill from the bat-computer so it'll just look like a close up on Bane, like 2006's of Joker and Two-Face. I probably won't apply any of the cell stickers, except for HOLDING CELL. And the INTRUDER ALERT! turrets will either end up disassembled, or attached to a couple pieces to make them pop-up. And I do see what you mean about Batman and Robin having their finer details light, but I don't think that's how they'llend up. Bane's seem good (for know) though.
  22. I understand about the stickers, but you can always remove those or cut them up, though that'll probably make the set look emptier. Oh and about Batman, I believe it's the same one we saw at toyfair
  23. I see what you mean, with that 1 stud wide gap in between the ramps.
  24. Ivy: Oh, Bane...you're so...big AND strong Just joking of course!
