  1. Fingers crossed (harder). Those are Australian prices though, which are high already because their LEGO is shipped in from Europe (I think it's Europe)
  2. I see you're bored too...or were at least. Nice work there, much better than LEGO's prototype, but I'm sure that will get better.
  3. Can't say I'm too excited for TDKR, mostly because I'm worried about how Bane is going to be depicted. I'm not a big Bane fan (ignore my avatar ), but I don't want to see him as a terrorist, because then all three of the main villains would be terrorists-Ra's (though he should be), Joker, and Bane. Not as worried about Catwoman though, I don't know what to expect with her. I've never been one to watch a lot of movies, so I've only seen a handful of Batman ones- The '66 Adam West one (my personaly favorite ), Batman Forever (Not a big fan, Riddler disturbed me), Batman Begins (Liked this one too, but hated the romantic interest storyline), and The Dark Knight (it was okay, but I hated Joker and how Two-Face was killed off). I understand why hardcore Batman fans don't like most of the movies, even though I am not one myself. I read the Percy Jackson books years ago and went to see the movie. I didn't like the movie because it was changed so much, but everybody I went to see it with (who didn't read the books) liked it. Same goes for Harry Potter, the more they changed it from the books, the less I liked it (Order of the Phoenix ) Though I think Batman is more open than those franchises, I don't see how it would be different-fans are dissappointed when characters are excessivly different. Great, now I have "expectations", not for Two-Face (well, I hope he isn't killed off like in TDK and Forever), but for the series in general. I liked BB, but not TDK, and I hope that it isn't inspired by that too much-I don't need a realistic approach, just don't over do the fiction and have characters that aren't 2-D (or villains killed off ) and I'm probably fine. As long as Joker remembers to (try and) be funny, Penguin isn't a monster, Bane isn't a moron, Batman doesn't kill (or reveal his identity to every woman he's distantly attracted to ), terrorists are kept to a minimum, and they usually let the villain live (or at least have a questionable death). Now, watch me be disappointed in a couple years because I have "expectations". Edit: But if we get some nice LEGO sets/figures, I guess that's good
  4. Agreed about the value. I think it's only on backorder, the Batcave is at least. Edit:They all are, except the Ultrabuilds of course
  5. I have one student in peril left to go, and I think I found where it is-on the wooden bridge. Or at least, that's what the ghost tells me I can't find it anywhere and it isn't listed in any of the walkthroughs I've found. Does anybody know how to rescue him/her or if it's a bug? Thanks.
  6. That guy on YouTube who was uploading those 2012 pictures is at it again and just uploaded some Ninjago booster packs. Fingers crossed he has Marvel now...
  7. I also like the ghost. I understand that LEGO probably won't be doing transparent minifigures anytime soon, so I am perfectly happy with the cartoony sheet one.
  8. I was just about to build a small Batboat to go with my Batcave, but now I guess I don't need to design one. I probably couldn't get a hold of this. The Batmobile is nice too, and something to put in the Trophy Room I built, but I probably couldn't get a hold of it either and probably wouldn't take the time and parts to try and replicate it.
  9. I just ordered the Batcave, but right before I did, it went on backorder. It will ship in about 30 days (with my experience it's usually less). Just my luck. Edit: But on the bright side, I was able to take advantage of their clearance and got some pretty good deals (like that Pharaoh's Quest battle pack for only $3 or $4).
  10. I don't know if he'll appear in the Avengers sets, it would make more sense than X-men, but he wasn't listed as one of the minifigures being there in the press release. Of course, LEGO may of just not wanted to repeat his name for two franchises.
  11. Alright, I know little about Marvel, but that doesn't surprise me, he works for the government, right? Good to hear that you like the Batcave, I haven't heard too much about it, but I'm glad to hear it isn't recieving as much hate as when we first saw it, but that image was really bright.
  12. Yeah, I know it's weird, but the press release says, and I quote: And thanks for that link, I don't know if I should watch it though as I'm about to order my Batcave from LEGO.com. I guess it couldn't hurt though...
  13. Anybody else think that if it does come to system, that at least some of the characters will have those mini-doll figures or something similar. That's the best way I can think of doing Candace because of her neck.
  14. No, we don't know for sure. But the Marvel press release said that he'd be available in the sets based on The X-men (comic books), and so far, the only X-men set that we know of is 6866 Wolverine's Chopper Showdown.
  15. I'd be surprised if he even did that. After all, he's a platypus, they don't do much you know. Nah, I'm sure that he'd at least move some
  16. Maybe we could get something like XXXX Put Together a Perry, like the Build-a-Bob, Build-a-Buzz, and Construct-a-Zurg.
  17. That's the way I see it too. If it's lucky, it will have an extra final wave after the final Hobbit movie is release, like Indiana Jones. Actually, I'm still hoping HP will get one. But with the LoTR announcement, I'm worried that LEGO didn't learn from their mistakes with Batman. And right now, HP doesn't have as much resurrection potential as Batman does.
  18. I was just at Target today, and mine had the same problem, with Jay at least, I couldn't see Cole's face. Kai and Zane also had their faces switched. There was also a random criminal lying in the display.
  19. Beat you to it, I posted it in the Disney Discussion Topic this morning
  20. Oh, so did LEGO learn from their mistake with Batman then? (To LEGO, not either of you)
  21. There are no pictures. I can't imagine that they'd release a game without sets either, but they did release Green Lantern (to the public) as an action figure but not a minifigure
  22. I just searched and couldn't find this anywhere, so I'm happy to bring you news of this (unless I missed something again). Phineas and Ferb LEGO Game!
  23. Wow, that's great Take a picture for me!
  24. Wait, so Kendo Jay has a different torso , or did I just read your post wrong Actually, now that you mention it, that seems to be the case, but I'm still mad that my (Female) Snowboarder's goggles are loose They've probably improved since then though.
  25. Cool! I hope LEGO makes a set based on this! But seriously, I was expecting something about Batman or Superman, but this is just laughing bad . Who knew such small text could be so powerfull? (I know that's bad, but I just had to put it in there.) Good thing that the print is too small to read easily with the naked eye, so I can still display it in my Batcave.
