Yup, it's the one from TLBM. So actually, my bad, should've posted on the other thread. Edit: Done!- 3,020 replies

DC Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I personally think that, to have the Mr. Freeze from the animated series, you'd have to take this one and give him the armor that the one from TLBM has, because I think the "dome" look around the head is pretty iconic. I'm happy nonetheless. Mr. Freeze is one of my favorite Batman rogues, and I've been trying to collect all versions of him! Edit: Speaking of Mr. Freeze, this popped up on eBay (wrong thread, forgot there's a separate TLBM topic.)- 3,020 replies

Perhaps. Considering it's a Juniors set, it might be a neat play feature.- 3,020 replies

Loving the new Mr. Freeze. It combines elements from the classic one from the original Batman line and the more recent one from the Arctic Batman set! We'll now have 5 different Mr. Freeze minifigs. Amazing!- 3,020 replies

Thanks! These sound mildly interesting to me. Here's hoping for some new Sci-fi figures in the list in the upcoming months.

I love Chrome figures!
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Bricksanity's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
These look beautiful! As for suggestions, there's always a gold chrome lightsaber hilt, chrome Iron Man, chrome R2, and maybe chrome Jango. Heck, a chrome Batman cowl would look great. I also once saw someone who made a chrome classic space fig... Honestly, pretty much anything looks good in chrome. -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

I seem to recall that the plot is Joker trying to prove he's Batman's greatest enemy. He'll probably surround himself of 2nd tier super villains and fail at that initially. At least that's what I got from that one scene in the trailer. -

Argh, so hard to choose. I feel like I want most of these sets... As if collecting most of these minifigs wasn't hard enough already. -
Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Can anyone explain to me what the deal is with the NY I Love Yoda from Times Square? Somehow on Bricklink's sales for the last 6 months, a lot of them sold between $30-$60, and then the other ones are usually in the $150-$300 range. I imagine the difference is the figure being with its bag and paper insert (which I personally couldn't care less about), but the main issue I can think of is, if figures in new condition sell for considerably less without the original bag, is it doubtful that they are original? Or did Lego produce other Yodas that they didn't place in bags for the Times Square or Toy Fair exclusives? I think I would like to get a figure someday, if I could get one of those lower prices, and the quality was the same. -

I couldn't find a thread that already has this. Over on the licensed forum, there is a topic in which people share pics of their Super Hero collections. I was hoping people could share their Star Wars fig collections here. I would start this off, but unfortunately I haven't been able to bring my collection with me to my apartment (and hence why I enjoy seeing other people's collections even more ).

DC Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I know the pain, because I used to live outside the US until a couple of years ago. Anything that isn't sold where you live that you want to add to your collection means paying expensive shipping costs and possibly customs. On the other hand, now that I don't have those impediments, I'm happy that we get more characters in Lego form. I guess the main problem with being outside the US is that keeping a near-complete collection of Super Heroes is not as affordable as it is in the US. For me, it would be a bummer if we don't get a Target cube this year. I was hoping it would become some sort of tradition.- 3,020 replies

Post Your Superhero Minifig Collections Here!
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to c0rnedfr0g's topic in LEGO Licensed
Holy crap! I have no idea how you manage to keep this collection complete. Although, if you have 2011-2013 complete, keeping them complete probably isn't as hard. Personally, there are some SDCC 2013 figs that I'd like, but with their current prices they're pretty much unobtainable for me now. That and the 2012 Toy Fair figs will probably never be in my collection, so I will probably be getting a couple of customs. Do you have a complete Super Heroes collection asides from SDCC, updated? If so, it would be amazing to see a picture of them all! Also, do you know what prices the SDCC 2013 figs originally sold for back in 2013? Were they always more expensive than the rest? -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Actually, back in 2010 there were preliminary pictures of series 2. And if you compare those with the final pics, you can see some things did change, but not the character selection. Those pics, however, where from a later step in the process, and they were actual prototypes. I still hope that we will get 6 exclusive batsuits in this series, much to my wallet's demise but to my Batman collection's delight. -

Weird, Scuba Bat and Boxer Bat's cowl are swapped. Would love to get a look at Disco Bat's cape. But these figures look perfect to me otherwise! -

My main complaint with these Arkham sets (and the reason I didn't get any of the previous ones) is that the first version did not feel like a cohesive structure, and the second one was a facade (albeit a very good looking one). I might, might just might consider getting this year's Arkham, because I am starting to think that maybe we won't ever get the kind of structure I am hoping for, and that as a Batman fan I'd love to have another iconic location (already a proud owner of the 2006 Batcave). I am tempted to get the new Batcave, if only for the figure selection and the Batboat. I also need that cowl in pearl gold. -

Yeah, this is starting to get repetitive. There's always someone who comes late and maybe isn't familiar with the site policy and asks for pics, creating unnecessary clutter. I think it would be good if the mods added a reminder in the first page of these threads telling people not to ask for pics. -
