LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That wouldn't satisfy everyone either. That would be too much to keep up with. And Lego probably thinks that would saturate the market. Already some people experience CMF fatigue. I get the licensed series and regular series lovers. But the truth is, for the most part, no matter what we argue, Lego is going to do whatever they think is most profitable. And honestly, whenever there's a series I don't want (Simpsons, Team GB and DFB for me), that means I get to spend part of my CMF budget in other sets. I don't know about you guys, but Lego releases more sets and figures that I want than what I can afford. So my point is there's a silver lining if you don't get the series you want. It's impossible to satisfy everyone at once and we all have a unique combination of interests. -
By the way, I know a lot of peeps don't care about the color of the bags, but I am soooo glad these bags aren't yellow, as it was previously thought. I really still think that we ought to see purple at some point in the future, and that this color is too similar to the one used in Series 5.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I wasn't aware that we had rumors (as opposed to simple wishlisting) about TLBM2 series. I'd be pretty excited to see that! Granted, I don't think they could pull off 20 characters again. Maybe the ~5 villains from the film that we haven't seen in Lego form yet, ~5 new Batsuits, and then what? Maybe Justice League figs that haven't been done? Or maybe they could fill the series with characters in the white outfits... Anyways, really hope that rumor turns out to be true, and really disappointed if there indeed is no Disney S2. Disney has so much potential. Also, always glad to see the continuation of the numbered series! -
$3.99 in the US for these guys, right? Or has that not been confirmed yet? Sorry if it's been answered before.

Were there really kids fond of Jar-Jar? I was a kid when Ep I came out, and I absolutely hated him.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Hmmmm. Well, usually the US gets all the promo figures for Super Heroes, and (someone correct me if I'm wrong) this figure still hasn't been seen there. So I expect more of these to pop up eventually. Anyone else have any info or another take on this? -

I'm excited for the minifig in the orange NASA suit. Otherwise, I'm happy that this can encourage young females to get into STEM. Having said that, I'm probably not getting the set. -

I don't think it is blue in the movie. Look here, at around the 40 seconds mark, I believe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGgGX41ULJc It's probably just a placeholder, I'd say.- 5,808 replies

I feel your pain. Don't panic yet, though. There's still the possibility of it appearing as a polybag. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!- 5,808 replies

Pirates of the Carribean 5 Sets Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Capn Frank's topic in LEGO Pirates
Not really impressed by the model upon closer inspection, since it's not like a traditional ship. However, great figures, which I'll probably end up chasing after, if I do find space in my budget. -

Good to know the Spider-man figure will be so common. Everyone should be able to get it for cheap, I think! Also great figures overall. Honestly, it's all I care about with this theme, pretty much. So this looks good to me! Wanna bet it'll be this year's SDCC exclusive?- 5,808 replies

Great series, in my opinion! I find this much more exciting than Series 16, which was a bit boring compared to the few previous series for me. Can't believe we're already at Series 17. I still remember when I read rumors about Lego introducing a theme with minifigs in blind bags "based on movies, everyday life, and history". It's been awesome and I can't wait to add these to my currently complete collection of numbered series! (Except for you, Mr. Gold, but shhh).

Interesting that you placed an accent on the Portuguese title but not the Spanish one.

LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors

Ehhh, I mean the model looks great, but I just think we need a new Cloud City set so much more. It's a matter of taste, though, so I'm happy for all the fans who wanted this. -

How hard was it to Bricklink this set, assuming that is what you did?

The black box is the Ninjago series, so if that's a tall figure in the outline, it must have to do with Ninjago. No idea as to what it could be.

I keep 2-3 of each series and look at them all together every once in a while. So, you can imagine the lack of purple is pretty noticeable.

Took me a while to realize what you meant (I didn't know that was an upcoming City set since I don't really follow that theme). Wouldn't it be hilarious to give Flash Legs that actually belong to an old lady? Really happy, though!- 3,020 replies

Hopefully it's that cyan and not yellow again... I'm still waiting for purple, though.
