I'm alone so far, but my vote goes to the Evil Robot. I just love the design so much, even if it's a rehash. I don't think my pick will win this round, though, but I could see myself rooting for the pirate or the zombie.

LEGO Ideas Discussion

I mean, I get it when people say "I prefer this over that". It's just when people say stuff like "clearly X is superior than Y, EVERYBODY knows that" (i.e. subjective statements used as absolute ones) that I find it annoying. But yes, I agree those statements are often caused by immaturity and shouldn't be taken too seriously, and perhaps we should get back on track. -
Crap! Team Vampire is now on 3rd place, and we have a tie for first!

Quite an unbiased comment . Bet you'd dislike WatchMojo's take comparing both. Seems like they'd be in the "minority", then: -
DC Comics Cinematic Universe

I agree with that. In this video, they actually argue that he should be a cinematographer and not a director. (Link isn't wrong, they have several discussions in a single video, and I've linked to the appropriate time in the video). I understand your point about them not having to do the same as Marvel, but I don't think what I'm saying is Marvel-specific, but mostly about how to translate comics to films. Both Marvel and DC comics have more color. It's a matter of taste, though, and I recognize that, but to me it's like looking at a bunch of grimy costumes.- 911 replies

Argh, I really, really, want to be excited for this, but it's hard for me to do so, and I don't think it's necessarily because I've always been a bit more of a Marvel fan. I loved the Justice League animated shows and movies, but I watch these trailers and it just doesn't do it for me. Mostly, I feel the footage looks too gray, and the characters aren't colorful enough. I guess it's also hard to get excited when their last movies have been disappointing, and when Zack Snyder has already proven he shouldn't be directing these films. I'll have to wait and see, but I'm not holding my breath.- 911 replies

Considering the demolition dummy got a lot of hate back then (which I never understood), it's surprising to see it getting the upper hand so far!

My only suggestion would be to make a bigger thread with all the remaining rounds 10-64, with multiple votes for the remaining 55 groups, or as many as possible. That could help keep everything central. I've missed some rounds because I didn't realize the next round was going on already.

Big representation of special CMF series here. Tough choice between the Spider Lady and the Leprechaun for me, but can't beat that awesome cape!

Sweet! I saw them on the SW topic but wasn't paying attention to the fact that the Scarecrow minifig was the new version.
