  1. No problem! And me too. I am a proud owner of two studios vampires. Incidentally, I learned that her most wanted figure, the Quatro fig, is extremely hard to find. I'd have never guessed such an innocent figure could be so elusive.
  2. Checked Brickseek and apparently the Walmart in which I shop has 3 boxes. What a sucky time to be unemployed!
  3. Who could choke hold a bear? BATMAN!!! Spartan was a close one for me, for sure. Looks like Batman is giving the Spartan a run for his money. He can still win. It's funny, though, that there was a Spartan Batman concept art. This looks like another loss for S1, though. The cowboy was placed in a tough group. So, it looks like it's down to one last hope next round S1 plays. And I really hope TLBM gets its first win soon. Could be this one!
  4. Although they kept themselves from revealing the Highwayman in the pics, someone in the comments posted a picture of the figure, which I found hilarious.
  5. I misread that at first and thought that by some miracle Lisa was winning. Same here. Goblin gets my vote. I am not an army builder, though.
  6. If the record is by unique official minifigs, it would seem these people are strong contenders. Apparently they've tried to collect them all:
  7. Can't say I agree with your opinion on that round specifically, but for most of the rounds I have disagreed with the people's pick.
  8. I guess he... Fell asleep! Yeah, that's always possible. I think S1 has just had bad luck. It has some strong figures but they weren't placed in easy groups. The Dummy barely lost against the vampire.
  9. By the looks of this, the success rate of Series 6 will go from 75% to 50%. Ouch!
  10. Close group, but to me these are mostly above average figures. However, Shakespeare gets my vote! Unless the sleepyhead pulls an upset, it looks like TLM will finally be getting its first victory, which would be a first for a special series. Also, out of the regular series, only 1 and 4 haven't won. 4 still hasn't played with some of its strongest candidates. However, I do fear S1 will get its last 2 candidates eliminated.
  11. The Ice Queen barely edges the Lizard Suit Guy for me. Her design is very unique with a great combination of colors, and her silver highlights are the ice-ing on the cake!
  12. The highlander has one of the most ordinary hairpieces, while the Shark suit guy had technically one of the most elaborate!
  13. Any way I can change my vote? I think we could do that in EB before. I'd like to give the Shark Suit Guy a boost.
  14. Disclaimer: I don't collect monofigs myself. However, a couple of months ago I read the guide made by the owner of monofigs.com . Unfortunately, it looks like it's not free anymore, and he's selling it for $49 . The guide has all possible colors and how you can make them, and even a list of semi-complete colors and what pieces are missing.
  15. Also, a couple of interesting observations: 1. Out of all the numbered series, each series has had at least a figure qualify already, except for series 1, 4, and 5. Things look most dire for Series 1, with only the Cheerleader, Nurse, and Cowbow still in the game. Series 4 and 5 still have a decent chance with 9/16 of their respective figures still in the game. 2. No series is completely undefeated. Series 6, 11, and 17 have the highest success rates (2/3), but not many of their figures have played yet, so this is likely to change soon (plus 6 and 17 are currently playing against each other). In terms of number of wins, the most successful series has been 7, with 3 impressive wins in 5 groups. Only series 6, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, and 17 have had 2 wins. 3. None of the special or licensed series has won a group. Series GB is very close to being eliminated for good. Only 2 of its figures are yet to be eliminated. It'll be interesting to see which series, if any, is the first to be eliminated completely in round 1. I think it'll be either Series 1 or Team GB (but of course that also depends on the random drawings). I think that, in general, the special/licensed series have really bad chances, with Disney and TLBM being the strongest contenders. However, I don't expect the overall winner of the game to come from one of the special series.
  16. I'm surprised the highlander is winning. It is one of my least favorite CMFs. Maybe because it's very removed from my culture, I guess. For me, it was a tough one between the Rocket Suit Boy, the Shark Suit Guy, and Ariel. I ultimately voted for Ariel; I love her hairpiece and I think she's the perfect representation of the character in Lego form. She's one of my favorite all-time minifigs, I'd say!
  17. Will Series Z be the zombie apocalypse to your project, then? You could always go the Excel route and do series AA, AB, ... By the way, I've always wondered, how do you do these? What program do you use? And how do you get them to look so good (i.e. great proportions and level of detail). How long does it take you to do each series?
  18. I like it. I wasn't expecting too much, it's exactly what I expected for a Lego highwayman. It'll be a fine addition to my collection!
  19. The Aztec is one of my all-time favorite CMFs, so I'm very happy to see him crushing it!
  20. The lack of the interior is one of the main reasons I've never been interested in acquiring a UCS Millenium Falcon (even back when it was released). Granted, I've never been able to afford it, and I doubt I'll be able to afford this one.
  21. Yeah, I can't believe we aren't even halfway through half of the groups in round 1.
  22. Holy crap. Can't even begin to imagine the aftermarket prices once the set is retired. The high demand by investors will only be countered by the steep price. Also, tan 3PO? So, similar to the old version? That sounds odd.
  23. Does anyone have a picture with all the minifigures (with or without the ones from 2017)? I'd love to see one and haven't been able to find one.
