  1. I think in the past we have experienced loss in minifig accuracy because of figures only being based off from concept art. I for one would not mind later releases if it meant more accurate figs.
  2. Oooooh, this escaped my radar somehow. Neat, neat pack! Hoping to see the Batman fig soon. Too bad that I bought the penguin fig recently!
  3. Well, we will have to agree to disagree. Some of their choices so far seem odd, but I wouldn't go so far as to say they don't have a clue... The Ecto-1 seems like a hit to me. Plus, didn't the theme just start like a year ago? Perhaps I am being naïve, but I think the fact that many of the designers are fans themselves will mean that the 18+ theme should at least give us a couple of sets that we want that would otherwise not be produced.
  4. I echo many of your sentiments, HarryVader. A silver lining for me is that Lego has realized that there is a market for adult fans, and has started gearing some sets towards them. That might give us some interesting models in the future for Marvel, potentially with figures that might not sell among young kids.
  5. This pains me quite a bit. A couple of days ago I was watching the 616 Marvel docuseries on Disney Plus. They had a whole episode dedicated to toys. Guess what they focused on? Marvel Legends and Funko. Seeing the character selection for either of those makes me sad because of what could be but is not with the Lego theme.
  6. I don't think Bricklink handles fraudulent listings like eBay does. Always make sure to pay by PayPal, and they'll protect you in case you get scammed.
  7. Well, it really did seem odd to me that they never tried to release some sort of UCS gauntlet. Granted, I cannot fathom a gauntlet that would justify that price point.
  8. My first reaction when I noticed the Blacktron reference on the violin player was excitement, but then it wore off and I realized what you guys are saying. It is true; perhaps a more classical figure would be a better addition. Maybe Lego thought it wouldn't sell as well with kids.
  9. It makes me so happy to see these homages to the good old days of Lego space (80s and 90s), given that we do not get much space sets these days (aside from city space). Granted, my wallet would probably not be able to handle a space revival!
  10. Yeah, that Jaguar Warrior is outstanding. The last time we got a similar figure it was the Aztec Warrior. I think he is my #1 or #2 favorite fig from this series. #1 probably goes to the space policeman, probably because I like science fiction figs so much!
  11. Absolutely agreed. I do wonder how many figures are being sold at the full $5, considering in the US Walmart and Amazon tend to discount these quite a bit. I doubt these are performing as well as they'd like at the chosen price point.
  12. I'd rate this series as definitely superior to the (IMO a bit boring) Series 20 and a step in the right direction!
  13. Yeah, they are pretty much a useless source. They've even been banned from r/marvelstudios, I think.
  14. I think Lego has realized that suited figs help make BAM popular. May God have mercy on all our souls...
  15. Oh yes, right, I thought you guys were talking about him. Hilarious-looking either way!
  16. Yeah, to me he looks like a low-budget ripoff of Thanos (yes, I am aware of the irony here). I don't expect great things.
  17. Oh wow, lucky! Got a link? Edit: Nevermind. Found it:
  18. Not to mention the figures. Those are highly sought-after nowadays.
  19. That is one weird-looking Ghost rider. The previous version is definitely better.
  20. That is very unfortunate. It is surprising considering how long the first drops lasted. Here's hoping we will see some later this month on S@H.
  21. I am satisfied with my small Ideas Ghostbusters, so I will pass on this bad boy, although it looks amazing. Now, if Lego came up with a UCS DeLorean, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Lego, are you listening? :(
  22. Shame about the shipping condition of these sets. I am very interested in buying one from S@H. I know someone looked at Amazon's page and saw that it said something along the lines of "we got some early copies of this set before they are sold by Lego", but I cannot find that on the Amazon listing anymore.
  23. Yeah, looks like we in the US will be legoleakless for a few days. It is a minor annoyance at worst.
  24. I wouldn't hold my breadth. Sadly, Lego has previously disappointed in terms of omissions of important or desirable figures. Just be pleasantly surprised if we see Red Guardian again.
