  1. It all depends on your interests. I, for instance, collect minifigures, so I don't like their hands being damaged by putting accessories on them, unless I have repeats. I have had some ugly experiences, damaging both accessories and hands
  2. That's a lot of work! So am I to understand that Brickstore has every item that BL has? It seems like a great option.
  3. Not the best solution if you're interested in displaying the guys, but I do find it's the best way to store them if you just don't have space to display them, want to keep them assembled, protected from dust and UV, and want a space efficient solution. I use these and put the figs in their baggies stading in a line in each compartment. I can store around 120 figs per case, and considering this, they're not so expensive. I do keep their accesories separate, but the figs are protected I haven't found a similar solution for keychains though. Hope this helps!
  4. I see. Thanks for explaining. I actually hope to complete the astromech and protocol droid collection someday... But I've still got a good way to go!
  5. That's odd indeed... I do find the minifigure tool in Brickset slightly buggy and missing some figs that are in the BL catalog, such as gen023.
  6. Went one week ago. The ending was very nostalgic I must say, since they used the music in the end in such a way that it echoes Philosopher's Stone. For all of us who grew up with Harry, it sure brought a tear to our eyes. And I agree: although missing great parts of the book, it was an excellent movie altogether.
  7. I would be looking forward for that You're welcome! Thank you for the interesting info and for the awesome decals!!!!
  8. What's the glitch? And speaking of keeping a backup, I just e-mail myself my excel document from time to time. It isn't too heavy, so it does the trick.
  9. That's very close indeed! I have had your site bookmarked for a while, even before I joined Eurobricks. One question though: why are there some droids missing from that section? Shouldn't the chrome 3PO be there, for example? Not that I'm criticizing. In fact I really admire the work you have put into that site.
  10. I'd like that if they redesigned Grievous. I'm not satisfied with his arms. Not accurate enough for me.
  11. Whew, that was a close call! I think that Lego is very likely to take advantage of the momentum. Maybe we'll see Spider-Man villains never seen in films? In my opinion, the potential of Spider-Man villains is close to that of Batman villains. Carnage, Venom, Green Goblin, Electro, Sandman, the Lizard, you name it. And I also wanted a black Spider-Man so badly . Hopefully we'll have it on this round!
  12. I would love to see Amalgam! It's not very likely right now, but then again, who would've said that the Marvel vs. DC series was possible?
  13. Sorry if this is off-topic, but what happened to brickfilms.com? The site is not the same it used to be, and for the worse. It seems like many of the films that were there before are now gone. Was it because of Youtube?
  14. I really hope that those who have said that Lego doesn't have the rights to make sets for the "Amazing Spider-Man" upcoming movie are right. I would hate to have to stand a Spider-Man minifigure with that ugly suit design for the film rather than the classic one. In fact, I'd love it if the minifigure was closer to the classic suit than the previous versions (no silver, for instance).
  15. Too bad... I was just thinking about that. However, an invisible man with his clothes on, a hat, and a transparent head with some bandages would be awesome. (Similar to the one in the old Universal movies). And it would probably have more potential to be detailed and expresive than a completely transparent minifig, in my opinion.
  16. Do you have a picture with only all the protocol and astromech droids? Because that would be so cool!
  17. That's very nice. I would have been so happy to have grown up with a Lego room . Back when I was 6 more or less, all my Lego fit in a 20 cm. edge cubic plastic box! Good luck with your little girl! Storage is such an issue... I have to buy a plastic box every year! And my room is tightly packed with stuff almost to its maximum capacity. The only place that has not been colonized by my collection is my bed
  18. Sometimes I can't believe what people give away! It makes me wish I had taken out my old (non-Lego) toys in a garage sale But we don't do that here... I just remembered I had another stroke of luck with the first Spider-Man sets. I went to the main store that sells Lego here (unfortunately there are no Lego stores here ), and, quite oddly actually, there were a lot of those sets on sale. You would not believe the sets that go on sale here... Anyways, I found like 30 copies of 4850 - Spidey's First Chase and one or two copies of 4852 - The Final Showdown. 4850 was on an amazing discount, probably close to 50%, a complete bargain . I wanted to get that minifigure so badly . As for 4852, it was of course my dream Spider-Man set. The box was in bad conditions, but the discount was huge, around 50% too. And so, I had these two sets in display inside my closet, until I ran out of space and had to put them inside a box .
  19. Bricklink has a lot of interesting miscellaneous info. I love the piece count. However, a few sets seem to have the wrong piece count (if I'm not mistaken, 6990 is different in Lugnet, BL, and Brickset). As it's been said, it would be nice to see some support for a total inventory of parts from your collection and the ability to add individual parts, although Brickdoctor has pointed out that Brickstore fulfills these needs. That looks like a good solution for you. Kudos! Hahaha that's crazy! Good luck with that!
  20. Hahahaha, yes, I know exactly like you mean. And all of a sudden Kryptonians appear out of nowhere! Wasn't he supposed to be the LAST son of Krypton? However, in later stories many characters were able to put up a fight with Superman with no Kryptonite. I think they stopped making him so invulnerable later. He does have too many superpowers for my taste.
  21. It's definitely a small place.
  22. That is very cool. I don't think Lego can come up with a better hairpiece than that one.
  23. That would be interesting. Can you imagine all superheroes and supervillians fighting on the place with the doors? By the way, with all his superpowers, I bet Superman should be really hard to control!
  24. I'm glad you had a nice visit!
