  1. I think given the hype about this current wave and because it has been delayed plus the 2020 models have been out for 18 months now I do honestly believe these new sets will sell well. I expect to see some inflated prices on eBay when they do come out in the first few weeks
  2. wow this looks amazing!!! I just wish I had the time, money and skill to build a ship like this! If I ever come into a lot of money I will be commissioning a lot of people on here to build me a grand fleet
  3. I hope we can buy them in June and its not pushed back even more to August, however that might just be for normal retailers and we should be able to buy direct from Lego in June but will it be the 1st of June or the 30th?? I am hoping that we will go back to a regular January release for 2022, Lego should still keep the theme going, its a good seller and there is something for everyone and suits nearly all pockets. It appeals to many different ages so I think Lego would be very foolish to stop it.
  4. I agree, who doesn't! Lego Speed Champions 2021 is my second most googled thing!
  5. Indeed, how many of the 2021 Speed Champions sets were out on the shelves before they got put back? Was it just the Dodge set or all the ones we know about? All these stores there will be Lego fans working there so I am sure they know about the hype about this years sets it be very tempting to take a few snaps put them on your social media and let the internet do your thing. It be one way to increase your following. Unless they have been told if you do this then its an instant dismissal which I think would be a little harsh. Plus I though the release date was June not August. Is June the official release date of just the images and set details?
  6. Well I am really excited for this set now, the Challenger looks great in my very humble opinion. I had slight worries that Lego might make the Challenger into some sort of modified drag car but nice to see its pretty stock. This will be my number one set for sure and I will be doing a colour swap versions to all black and all white (vanishing point) The dragster I don't really car about I might even sell it or use the parts for other MOCs
  7. Lego could still do one of the Skyline GTR models R32, R33 and R34 I believe they are world wide famous enough to be made and the real cars are very sort after (a good condition R34 GTR in the UK will set you back around £60,000 - £80,000) it might also do one of the Z models be it a 350z or a 370z, however I do not think this is likely as they are not as famous as the GTR models. It is April tomorrow so I am hoping we will all get to see the first few images of the new sets within the first week, however I have a feeling I am going to be disappointed.
  8. I am looking forward to see what you do with that, compared to the other models the Chiron looked quite small, its even smaller than the WRC Ford Fiesta!!
  9. I bet this was a bit of a challenge, it looks very good though and I like some of the little details you have included. What is going to be your next MOC?
  10. This looks brilliant! It seems to be a popular thing at the moment people converting their models to 8 stud or 7 stud, what models are you doing next?
  11. Yes Lego really seem to be dragging their heels with releasing some pictures. I was hoping they would at least show us one set earlier on like what they did last year with the Jaguar set. Hopefully pictures might drop around Easter time at the beginning of April
  12. These look fantastic!! I especially like what you have done with the F40 I like both stud widths to be honest! however I am swaying more to the 8 stud I think the final decision for me will be seeing this years sets, which I hope we will be getting to see some pictures very soon! I display my models because sadly I dont have the room for a bit city scene, or to be more accurate my wife wont let me have a big city scene!!
  13. I agree with that would love to see what anyone has done making the older 6 stud vehicles into 8 or 7 stud wide versions. I would love to see what people do with the Dodge Demon, one of my favourite cars I did like what Lego did with the model however though it looked a bit to long and narrow and the Dodge Demon is anything but narrow
  14. Wow this looks great. Love older and vintage cars its a shame Lego doesnt do them or introduce them to the Speed Champions line. Will you be posting/selling any instructions online?
  15. This is a great MOC I like the idea at being a 16 gun brig is actually more close to the type of ship actual pirates and privateers used. Loved the pirate line when I was younger and would love to make my own MOC, however looking at prices of hull parts on bricklink and pirate ship parts in general sadly I just cant afford it, hopefully Lego will bring the line back soon.
  16. This looks amazing a must for any car fan! Must be very talented and creative, there is no way I could do something like this even with a lifetime of practice and all the lego in the world
  17. Like many of you all I was a bit unsure with the whole increase in size from 6 stud to 8 stud and I believe whichever you favour depends on how you display the models. If you like 6 stud you probably have your Speed Champs cars in your city/town setups or used with other buildings sets etc as it fits better with other vehicles etc If you like 8 stud you probably just display them all together on a shelf or in a display cabinet (this is what I do) It be interesting to see if there is any wheel change, however I wish Lego will just hurry up and show us some pictures!
  18. This is great! A set that is a whole story in itself! Love the way you have used different Lego pieces to great affect. Looking forward to seeing more of your MOCs
  19. A farm theme would be a nice change, people who are big fans of the castle theme could use the animals for markets etc It would be nice if they had just some different vehicles and by that I mean just normal cars, SUV's, sports etc. Rather than just one and the normal bin wagon (garbage truck) random monster truck, camper, etc that we get every year
  20. Indeed, I hope its a theme that will continue for many many years, it must be one of their best sellers, just waiting for the pictures to drop cant wait to see what the Challenger looks like. With it being teamed up with a dragster I hope they dont make it to over modified or have accessories where you could either have it stock or modified
  21. Its going to be difficult to see which one will be the most popular, my first buy will be the Dodge double pack a bit of an odd choice for someone who lives in the UK and dodge have never sold a car her officially bur i do love my muscle cars! Just hope that we get some pictures soon, I wonder if they have changed the wheel size at all???
  22. When do you all think we will get to see some pictures? If its for a June release I am hoping to see some pics around March or do you think it will be more like April?
  23. I know those who love this line are eagerly awaiting the first pictures of this years line, however what cars would you like to see in future sets? I am hoping this years Dodge set either has a 70s Challenger or a revised 8 stud wide modern challenger, however I would also be very happy if we got a Viper Other cars I would like to see just going off what Lego has a licence for already are E-type Jaguar Jaguar Mk2 Any Nissan Skyline R32, R33, R34 Aston Martin DB11 Any of the old 6 stud wide speed champions sets made 8 stud wide Would love to hear what other peoples opinions and thoughts are
  24. haha, I am only going down along the lines of a small pirate ship/merchant ship that would be good for people with smaller budgets or something for the larger ships to prey on
