Searched up “Lego” and there’s 5 options, 3 are textiles and 2 are the ikea Lego and the spidey and friends sets. I did find some city sets on there but they’re from 2017. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Where are you seeing this? Sounds very cool! Is there like an instagram community? I follow most of the ninjago leakers, are there any city leakers I should be following? Any big prominent ones?

Very interesting to see differing opinions in the city community. I’d be expecting praise as it’s not something we get often. What type of plane bottom bricks? As in the 8x8 ones that make up plane undersides? Could it give an indication of the size of the craft? Yeah can someone explain why these sets need criticism (Other than constructive I guess but no changing that now)? I’m personally really happy to see some more galaxy squad/mars mission type sets. Not everything needs to be classic space or hard near future sci-fi (although I agree on the fact it should have been its own theme).

In what way, how badly they would operate in space? Not too harsh I hope . Sounds like something my brother would do!

Nothing yet, although this week should be the reveal week. I did ask one leaker (I won’t reveal the name on the off chance they don’t want to be mentioned, inner leaking circle is a death trap sometimes) but I asked when we could expect to see the space sets revealed and they said the weekend, so I’m eagerly awaiting that now.

I think the wave was originally meant to have villains and the missing set number was meant to be a villain set like the white tusk elephant, but the villains were completely omitted this wave. Can’t for the life of me figure out why though.

All sets leaked on pricyplasticproducts IG I…. I don’t know about this wave. As a wave celebrating the 5th anniversary this falls kinda flat. The mini monkey mech is atrocious IMO, proportions are completely whack. The mini vehicles thing looks cool though, I like it and it’s cheap. The dragon mech is actually pretty good, but it looks like it re uses the MK from the megapolis set (no side arm or leg prints) and also there’s no villain figures anywhere? Where is the budget being allocated here? I hope summer is really impressive. Ngl though I dig the mono wheel looking thing MK has and the gantry surrounding the mech looks cool. As for the mech itself, feels like a reskin of jays core Titan mech. Overall I’d give the wave right now a 6/10, megapolis is obviously the best set, but it’s also the only set with other images. This is just a blurry back-of-the-manual shot. I may (and hope I) change my opinions when we see a full reveal.

Throwing my hat into the ring here, I was big into city from 2008-2018, collected the older space sets (2013 space shuttle and launch pad are still some of my favourite sets) and I think city absolutely peaked with the 2017-2016 waves of volcano explorers and jungle explorers, those sets where amazing, and since then ive been into mostly monkie kid and ninjago, and I think city kinda lost its charm with the re-invention in 2020 with road plates and a younger demographic, but thats just my opinions. But after seeing that space rover set, wow. I am absolutely flawed by the build, like I cannot describe how amazing it looks. Ive always loved space, the more futuristic the better, so im happy to see this. I will admit though that I now know how all the people that grumble about ninjago eating smaller themes feel, this could easily have been its own theme, but its stuck with city licensing and thus city prices and age ranges. Still, I'll take what I can get. I cant wait to see HD pics of this thing and the other rover set thats being released, and I haven't followed city closely but the set names sound so good. Mechs, hover bikes, asteroid recovery, and the modular space station also looks great `9luckily I have a picture before it was deleted). From what ive seen so far the space sets (especially the rover) seem to be pretty controversial, but I personally love them and I cant wait for their full release. Im also going to try my hand at building the rover (albeit it in a red and black colour scheme, as ive just recycled an older rover model) so that will be a challenge. Hopefully we see pics soon. Does anyone know the UK pricing for it? Im assuming around £35 as its $40.

Sadly so. I’m more disappointed that Cole isn’t included, I really wanted to get multiple figures. I love that black armour/cloth part.

Looks like I was right with the visors being the dragon power ones. Wonder why they are still keeping them around, other than for money saving? I guess they’re just the standard heads now. Anyways given the legs and the armour that are yet to be revealed for most of the ninja, this is quickly turning out to be my favourite line of suits. I absolutely love the mechanical look of them, and will be great for custom figures. Like galaxy squad reborn. My only gripe is I’m gonna make an educated guess that Kai won’t be Red and black, that would have been amazing (favourite colour combo by far), although I do wonder what he will have for colours. Also I wonder how Arin and Sora will look. God I want to see these sets now!

Monkie kid mini mech has leaked in recent brick clicker video, looks alright. Head is a little jarring, it looks like it’s just a scaled down version of last years mech. Hopefully figs are good.

Absolutely, given ninjagos love for unprotected users in mech suits and the motorcycle-helmet-like design of the new hoods, I’m fairly certain they will again have a visor printed on. Maybe a reuse of the DR one? Because only Lloyd actually used his visor in the show, and that was only 2 scenes.

Shame we likely are getting that armour piece again, I love getting unique armour parts per season. I’m still holding out hope one day we get an actual armour piece with a clip integrated for staffs/hammers. My other big wish is a mask with a visor integrated into the part itself, duel moulded, a bit like what seabound had. I really want a Lego helmet part that covers the “nose” of a minifigure.

New Cole torso leaked, really loving the back torso print, the armoured futuristic design is def one of my favourite suits. Not too keen on the front tho, and it looks like he’s using solid orange legs with printing, not black. Cautiously optimistic here.

I thought transparent heads first came up in spirus way back in somewhat-classic-space? That’s not my era so I can’t say much on it.

Nope, we got nearly fully transparent base minifigures with the dragon power ninja last summer.

Id remove the link if I where you, I dont think Eurobricks allows them (please correct me if im wrong though, im just going of memory) The head itself is interesting, trans black (new trans black) and smoke like. Could be Cinder but I feel like it's more likely to be a wolf warrior as the head seems similar to the one that leaked before. If it is cinder though, maybe he could be like early Ronin, where hes not a bad guy but not a good guy, and is instead off on his own, a bit like macaque from Monkie kid. Would love to see a character like that for ninjago. I guess Rapton could be classed as that but he only allied himself with the ninja for an episode for 2.

Well either way you sound incredibly convincing, hats off to you. Hopefully we see the set images sooner rather than later with this wave of reveals happening.

This….. you don’t happen to have a Time Machine do you? I’ve heard so many theories for next season but this is like a clear cut “this is what’s happening”. I’m gonna be incredibly surprised if this doesn’t happen.

Ahh that’s actually a pretty cool looking ship, shame it will just get the 4+ treatment. Maybe cinder yes, but I’m still dubious if that character even exists because that would lead to 3 flame based elementals which is kinda weird. I’m wondering if that character has been Misidentified.

I could see it being used for wyldfire from Ninjago as I suspect it will blend well with the sand green she has on her outfit. Other than that, not really sure. Nothing jumps out in themes that could use it. What about that Star Wars 4+ crimson firebird set (I can’t remember the name, not a massive starwars nerd)?
