To be fair in the duckbricks video you can see the silhouette of the Medusa hairpiece on a poster on the side wall of the jade store. I think it’s likely. Can’t wait for the wider community to see “snakes! It’s just a Ninjago rip off” like Ninjago hasn’t been doing snakes over and over and over again for years. Don’t get me wrong I love both themes but I wish there could be something a little more interesting cooked up in those prestigious designer concept sessions. Like the amount of unique snake figures I have now is ridiculous. You want a sea snake? Have a hydro-whipper. A tunnelling snake? Have a constricti. A python? Pythor! A mummified snake? Pyro viper! Sorceress snake? Aspherea! Warriors made of snakes taking on a human form? Vermillion! Snakes that like giant ham sandwiches? Chokun! Snakes that hypnotise you? Hypnobri……. The list is endless. Seriously what is with Ninjago and snakes?

Does anyone have a higher quality image of this or the other picture of everything combined? Need to find one ASAP and would appreciate if anyone can point me in the direction of one.

Just got the prices. £160, $190 and €175. Ouch. That really hurts, it's about the same size as city of lanterns I believe. Season 5 villain is called "Nuwa". Dang. Still, im sold, but im gonna have to find some extra cash.

Another one, this time by user @DuckBricks. Dude is living the dream right now. I have to say, I redact my previous statement. I absolutely love this set, I just hope the price won’t be extortionate. Highest I’ll go is £140. Other than that, I’m absolutely sold. Hopefully the other monkie kid sets and the ninjago sets aren’t gonna be as good as this othwise I’m gonna need to seriously rethink my budget.

WOW Go wild, I want to hear any and all theories. I have a few. really loving macaques outfit, looks so damn cool. Strange that MK no longer has any side printing on legs or arms, hopefully this is just an exclusive variant for the set and his regular suit is much more interesting. Looks like jade snakes could be our new villain. Maybe a hunt for a new jade emperor?

That makes a bit more sense. That picture is amazing, I need HD pics of this set ASAP. How long did it take for us to get pics of the monkey mech last year? Also I can recommend the team hideout, it's good, not as good as city of lanterns, but still pretty damn strong and looks awesome. I dont really agree with it being compatible with the other 2 city sets, I feel like the rural landscape stands out a bit too much but the modularity is nice. funny how theres like 20 versions of pigsys noodles now, hes running a business anywhere he can!

Images on Dylanchow’s Instagram show all 3 connected together. Megalopolis connects to the side of the city of lanterns. It’s a corner module???

THIS. I agree, not a fan of the clouds. It feels like theres a lot of good ideas and concepts but mixed execution, unlike the city of lanterns, which is basically perfect. Still, comparison is the killer of joy, and this looks absolutely awesome.

Wow. Can’t wait to see high quality images, although I like what I see already. I hope it’s the same price as CoL. I somewhat like the figure selection, cool getting lots of new parts and the different figures but it would have been a godsend to get the original figures in all of them. Macaque and Tang especially. The build itself looks very impressive, I like the wide array of buildings and how each character has a tie to one at least. Not really a fan of how empty it feels though, they could have bulked up the buildings, it feels way more empty because of how the elevator and the other 2 builds are positioned. Not a fan of the ferris wheel in concept and execution to be honest as well. Other than that though, stellar build and parts pack, hopefully it does connect to the city of lanterns and I think then it will look the best. I like how design cues like the billboard and the electrical pole are carried over, and the real railway track has a 2x2 tile on it so I think that confirms it can connect up. I like the outfits for the gold and silver demons, they will be good for customs and the entire build on the left side of the elevator looks really cool. This would be an awesome project for a Ninjago city integration I suppose.

Alright how much we willing to bet on this? cole Titan mech sounds cool, and is well overdue, maybe a bigger version of his rock form. And I guess the giant dragon set could be the source dragon we see in the show, if it isn’t gonna be Egalt or whatever that set name from the first half of the year is. Another ultra sonic raider is promising, can’t go any lower than legacy so I’ll be excited to see what that looks like, although I’m kinda annoyed it’s another rehash of sets we have seen before. We need something big and new, like the Kai raider from last year. Obviously this is all speculation if this is correct info, there’s no source provided and I don’t expect one to be.

I think it could be, judging from the leak way back at the start of the year we have all the scheduled characters, apart from Sora who didn't show up in the leak, so im guessing thats it. Is the imperium claw hunter magazine still available? I haven't had the chance to get one because of my location, im heading home at the end of the week though and want to grab one before they're gone as this claws are really hard to come by. As for the wolf warrior, I love it! The details and moulding look great, exactly what i'd expect since crystallised set the standard. I dont know how I feel about them being human, I had hoped they where tiger-like and same species as Ras, but they look amazing regardless, and once again we get one of those awesome prints where its like a mini figure face covered by a mask so its only their eyes, I love those prints as they go well with hoods. Like Lil' Nelson from last years Samurai X mech. Back detail looks good, a little more simple than i'd like but that won't change. Dark azure as a contrast colour will be cool to see. I hope we get at least one villain build this wave, although looks like I'll have to settle for a side build at best. Lord Ras looks good as well, although I'm a little suspicious on the authenticity of the figure as the head printing is different (lost the 2 pink stripes under his eyes) and the arms dont have his pink stripes. The armour already exists in a lego city set too. If it's real though, I like the armour and the robe design, and the leg printing look damn good as well.

Gonna guess about same price and size as the city of lanterns. Im praying it's one of the sets revealed at the Chinese expo in the next few days as its easily my most hyped set. That and maybe the dune thopter, but wrong thread. Im really hoping it comes out like the city of lanterns, maybe even with a monorail extension. I did see the number 150 thrown around, im assuming dollars but thats throwing it in the ball park of say the massive summer location sets, like the heavenly realms. I hoped it would be at about that price point, but im happy for one to be at 120. I love building ninjago city Mocs, so I suppose I'll cannibalise the city of lanterns, or maybe I'll keep it around and use the parts from the megalopolis set. Either way, im hyped!

Couple of updates: Lego_minecraft_goat said that kais regular mech also comes with a villain mech, and just2good has put a picture of the ninjago movie CMF on his insta story with the caption “people are not ready for what’s about to drop” which makes me some what excited. Not sure how deep he’s into the Lego leaks community, he may just be promoting someone’s fan project (as he does sometimes) and to be honest I don’t really want a Ninjago CMF right now. don’t get me wrong I would love to get one but in their current state I have lost all interest in CMFs. The fact that we only get 12 (considering Ninjagos wide expanse of characters that’s no where near close enough to how many spots we need) and also I doubt Lego will backpedal on boxes immediately, meaning we would get a boxed Ninjago CMF series….. nope. I despise the gambling like feel it has now. I just wanted Goliath for a cool custom but so far have 3 damn Kate bishops. Absolutely no Ninjago CMF until people know what’s in these flimsy useless boxes IMO. (sorry rant over. What minifigs would people like to see in a CMF?)

Super hyped for this set but the same website who reported the new ninjago and Star Wars news say that the thopter is pushed back to February to coincide with the movies delay release. Likely to be a singe set, like the horizon zero dawn set, although looks like that could be getting a sequel so who knows?

Do u mean the blue dragon that’s on the thumbnail? I think it’s meant to be Sora, the bounty dragon.

Finally Kais source dragon duel is actually a summer wave set and so there’s no info on it.

Heads up, more news coming our way from Falcon fan! Edit - got most of these from the website Fanklockow.Po, but thanks to falcon fan for the heads up. The gimmicks include 2 figures with the ninja stated and a wolf looking warrior. Wonder how they tie into part 2? Formlings? Edit- wolf mask print Jays combat mech comes with 4 figures, Lloyd with a master looking garb, a wolf dude, Jay and a mystery hooded figure Coles earth mech is much the same but with 2 figures and the mech wields a giant hammer. Soras tech mech has a transparent sword in one hand and a shuriken in the other, 2 figures of Sora and a wolf dude Kais mech - 4 figures, a wolf person, Kai zane and a girl with a hood? Translation is rough for this one. The master dragon - black and white build mainly with Ras in a new outfit, Lloyd, Nya, Sora and “cinder” who is a new heroine. May be wyldfire lost in translation. A tree comes with it as a side build. I wonder if the wolf guys are actually Ras’s species, like a Chima tribe? Riyu dragon, comes with Arin and a wolf dude, and likely the SDCC figure. Dragon has a new head mold Arins buggy comes with a tree side build and a hook on the back, and Cole and “Jordan” (may be lost in translation or hopefully the new elemental master we see in the trailer, the geckle). This Jordan character shows up in kais mech I think. Kais climbing mech - contains Kai Jay and wyldfire plus 2 “dragon warriors”. The mech has 4 hands and 2 of them have climbing hooks (grapples?) Dragon stone temple - very big temple, with Garmadon, Lloyd, Kai Nya and Wu (guess he isn’t dead?)

Looks like your right, 71815 “kai’s source dragon duel” wonder what this could mean and more importantly why is Kai getting 3 sets? Why all the mechs? Cole makes sense with his earth form but I don’t know about the other ninja.

I mean city of lanterns and the team hideout plus the side builds from wave 1 can all be connected together. I’m sure that metropolis will follow the same system.

Very interesting! Glad we are getting some new content for part 2. Hopefully we at least see some aspects from part 2 in the winter mech wave, I’m fairly confident that the winter wave is its own thing, but hopefully we at least see the cole mech looking thing and the red Djin, along with that demon creature that looks to be attacking Sora.

Holy- This is so well done! Definitely looks awesome. Honestly I was thinking more like the OG fire mech and how it climbed up the mountain on the dark island but yeah, I suspect an animal looking mech will be the way to go especially if they want to differentiate it. Well done, love the look of this!

Def team hideout from this years winter wave. Where did you get it? Been looking everywhere for it.
