I’m down for more PS and CoS, I can’t get enough of that magic from the first two films. However, junior sets would be a huge letdown Basically everything we’ve loved about this reboot would be absent (Plus, imagine the minifigs... yikes) Also, part of me thinks that one of the paths that “disappointment” could take, is getting sets we rarely ever talked about being a possibility for this year, like an infirmary set and a Padfoot vs Werewolf set. Some would be weirded out and disappointed while some would love them

*Heavy breathing* Literally the ONLY thing I could (and will) hate are scale sets (if that’s how you can call them?) if they’re that then I’m screwed. If not, I already love them!! Hedwig, BMOM, brickheadz, wall art... I just don’t care about any of that, at all.

I choose to remain optimistic regarding the theme of the upcoming sets. I’ve already made peace with the fact that we may be getting nothing of what we were expecting, but apart from that how “bad” can it be? I mean they could be boring sets like the sock or whatever, but I doubt they’ll suddenly go wack after 3 years of pure gold and giving the fans what they want. Perhaps we’re indeed getting nothing DH or from DA, and instead getting missing sets from the previous movies.

I’d feel really bummed about another Quidditch, Hogwarts Express or Hagrid’s hut set I would definitely skip them and for the first time since the reboot buy the minifigs and animals separately. I’ve said this too many times, but if I see yet another young Harry/Hermione/Ron with the same jumper torso and black legs... IMO they will most likely be using the robes from DA. Perhaps a new face print for Hermione and Ron?

Ummm... my bets are: a) Either no DH at all or a couple of sets only. b) All this year’s sets are anniversary-themed c) No Durmstrang ship or Gringotts d) Remakes of the express/quidditch e) Something completely different than expected All in all, and I’m ready for the pitchforks, I wouldn’t mind not getting any DH or Gringotts/Ship this year. It would really really suck if we got any more remakes though. Though I wonder if the advent calendar is some sort of indicator that we’re getting sets from the first 3 movies only.

Really? LEGO be like: *picks reused head *swaps hairpiece “nEw ChArAcTer!” Thankfully she is one of those welcome inclusions, hopefully the same does not apply to Rosmerta

For some reason the anniversary Hogwarts set excites me and it’s not only because of the chamber of secrets, I like to think they’re going for something considerably different (besides the roof) and I’m eager to see what they’ll do with the tower this time around. I’m really okay with the sand green roofs, the only “nostalgic” bit I don’t want them to bring back are the wall gaps because now that would really screw things up. My predictions are it will have the dueling club in the great hall, and a different perspective, probably like the 2010 Hogwarts. And hopefully, a proper Dumbledore’s office as the only room in the tower.

Very true! I really like how everything sounds, though it sucks that that leaves us with less probable DH sets 5 to be exact? Or is that actually enough to cover both movies?

A slug Club themed AC would suck IMO, a burrow one would complement the set quite nicely. And if we get that tent in summer the whole setup will look fantastic.

Yep, plus keeping it a limited amount makes you appreciate it more. When you know there will be new releases of course you still love the ones you have, but the attention generally goes out there in the future, always eager for more and more until it’s not enough. But hey that’s me, can’t speak for everyone.

I don’t really have issues with the faces except when they’re recycled or excessively generic (e.g. Tonks) They have done a marvelous job in this reboot. The only faces that IMO haven’t been topped are 2010 Snape, Ginny, Arthur, Molly, Ron and of course Lucius.

This. I know it sells well the way it is, but it wouldn’t hurt to bring a biit of that back. I would also love if they didn’t somehow “juniorize” some figures like Lucius, it just looks too innocent... the hair color, the staff, I don’t know man. Don’t forget the capes

That list is what we would call in Mexico a chilaquil, a bunch of non-continuous things jumbled together. Chamber of secrets, goblet of fire, half blood prince, deathly hallows in one wave? Mmhmm. It would be more believable next year, but still those prices are a giveaway.

Hopefully that means the figures are more detailed :D

Soo, the prices in my country have officially gone up and they’re gross! Now the wait for discounts will suck. What a bummer, honestly.

We got official reveals in April, but I think we started seeing leaks around March? I’m not sure, maybe even February?

The idea of the summer wave already existing is just so exciting I know it’s been said in the past thread, but when did we start seeing leaked parts and figures last year?

That graphic of the guy dancing that “leaked” is interesting, makes me even more confused though. I guess January 26th is the day this confusion will be put to rest finally

Well, there goes our hope for real musicians XD These seem to be more colorful and funkier CMFs, I’m sure the carnival singer from the newest series was like a sneak peek of some kind. Or is this like a the masked singer thing? And you find out who the real artist underneath the mask is once you buy it?

I made up my mind and I will definitely get the book sets, but once they go on sale. 2020 was the very first year I constantly checked for discounts and it was worth it, never did this as I thought my country would be more stingy with sales, but I guess not
