Awe, not gonna lie I kind of liked the idea of that Hogwarts Express.

The leak is apparently from exabrickslegogo’s backup account. Aren’t they actually reliable? I vaguely remember them being a source of leaks for some time. I might be wrong though.

I get it’s probably fake, but it’s so accurate it’s actually sad, because it sucks 😭

Reading one of these comments made me wonder: do the majority here prefer goofy/expressive face prints or rather realistic ones? If I could compare two examples that meet the characteristics mentioned above, I’d put 2018 Snape being the former and 2010 Snape being the latter, although I don’t know if the newest one is cartoony enough... maybe Fred and George?

In that case it would be more like, a Gringotts based on the first film and then a Gringotts based on DH, and then remakes. Way to lose interest in the theme, TBH.

Nice, I really like this Hooch variant and the new face with goggles, but the 2nd expression is a downgrade. Looks like a different character.

Oh, cool. Nothing crazy about that Hooch but I like this variant and the new face. The quidditch pack characters sound awful, we really didn’t need another Cho and Draco in an accessory pack I just hope they don’t give Zacharias a reused face and the inaccurate wavy hair for Cho.

Hooray for another Hooch variant, meh everything else. If it’s a set based on the flying lesson then it shouldn’t be that bad. I’ll miss last year’s set reveal and hype, it got me feeling like old Rose from Titanic “...It’s been 84 years, and I can still smell the fresh leaks. 2020 was called the year of LEGO HP, and it was. I mean, I’ve liked the builds shown so far, not to mention we haven’t seen the interiors yet. They still need to give us a mind-blowing minifig selection/quality like in the 2010 burrow Even though we all loved the build itself when it came out, but you get my point.

IMO the DA figures are bland (and I actually love the builds) so if that standard for minifigures is what would “save” the lackluster August’s sets, then they’ll be an easy pass for me. So far I haven’t seen a set from the reboot where the builds are lackluster while the minifigs are great, it’s either been the other way around or a nice balance between the two.

Well if the August sets really suck, their sales will more than likely reflect that, and hopefully they’ll learn not to release too much brick built stuff and unnecessary remakes. If they sell well though... we are screwed, this forum is biased after all

And it seems the budget considered for Harry Potter will be spent on Marvel now.

This year I seem to be interested in Marvel more than ever before, let’s see how this goes...

I’m hoping the ones in the Fluffy set will have the colorful sweaters they used in that scene. If I see the trio in their jumpers one more time I’ll be sick to my stomach. Yeah, and school robes in the bathroom set. If we get the same characters in two sets at least give us different variants.

Harry Potter and the uncertainty of the August wave.

I’m very very curious about the interiors of the Hogwarts castle and forbidden corridor! The latter appears to be somewhat... empty, judging from the windows in the lower level.

Okay, the pictures have been taken down for real this time. I was just noticing Dumbledore and a knight in the big Hogwarts set, and also thanks to the pic of the 2010 set @Metanoios91 shared, it made me realize the new great hall section isn’t as small as it initially seemed.

We finally got a hatless Minerva Thought that would happen until DH.
