I’m not getting Diagon Alley yet, but I’m thinking of spending the minimum required to get me the Brickheadz GWP. I don’t care for brickheadz though, will it be worth something down the line? EDIT: Will get it for the pieces

That’s an educated guess, but God I hope Slug Club is not the case for next year. We really need some Grimmauld or Hogsmeade... although the latter sounds more unlikely.

The GWP appears to be available on the mexican site as well, too bad I’m not even getting it this year

This is very irrelevant to the current hype ?... but I was checking out stills from Fleur’s wedding in DH and wow, I would definitely love to at least get those Bill, Fleur and Ron variants. I really hope we get that tent set next year.

Although these pictures are much much better, I still love it the same (a lot) I do appreciate getting confirmation those are indeed new wand boxes though! Hopefully many of WWW’s products will be usable and not just builds that give the illusion of packed shelves. Regarding minifigures, I really love about 5 torsos and the fact that Lockhart is getting a new face, same for Lucius’ hair, but that’s about it. Everything else is meh (I don’t care for Florean or the photographer tbh)

We’re 10 days away from the official release of Diagon Alley, AC and CMF. Huuh.

That would be awesome. A set like 4723 Diagon Alley shops would be even better, but one can only dream.

Haha that was my Christmas present for 2006 and I always moaned to Santa Claus how that was the last lego set he ever gave me! Until my moaning finally worked and got me my very last one in 2011. That’s no regular mom, that’s a cool mom!

Do you guys prefer new pieces and stickers/prints for the builds over new prints and molds for minifigs? Or the other way around? Like many, I like both but minifigs are always the "magnet" factor to me.

Exactly. Of course I wanted more figures like Arthur with his pointy hat, and Rita Skeeter though that would've been a bit of a stretch, but the current selection could've worked just fine had they gotten a bit more love (English brainfart here, did I say it correctly? XD) To be honest looking at the side of the box with the minifig lineup doesn't light me up much. I don't know if it's the lack of legprints or what, they look like well done minifigures in Studio/Mecabricks/whatever using existing pieces and prints only. Even the new prints don't stand out much? But of course I'm a victim of consumerism and I will get it anyway huh

Fair enough The hair color works well IMO, but dark tan would’ve worked better (I know the same piece in that color exists as well) What puts me off is the style. Hair only does not change real people, but minifigures as well And unfortunately, a big part of the accuracy relies on the hair. It needs to be wavier, more flowy, more Lockhart.

I wondered the same thing too, I can only make out the trans cheese slopes at the edges. Regarding the lack of props outside the stores I had commented about, I might just take out things like the chests, love potions, boxes and wands and put them there Also, the box art is incredibly cramped, as if they didn’t want you to see the where the buildings start and end... mhmm suspicious. Maybe it’s just to give the illusion of the large alley it really is, or a small indicator “their alley” does not end there.

*insert confused blonde woman calculating meme* Probably a D2C with dorms and common rooms, moving stairs, portraits, Umbridge’s office or even the bits with fluffy, winged keys, etc. Also, more greenery for the outside, stained glasses, alleys, cobblestones, bells. The current Hogwarts display looks awesome but it’s kind of monotonous And honestly, D2C or not, I hope they change it up by adding those details mentioned above in the next Hogwarts set.

We need better pictures, but it seems like he is. Does anyone else feel kind of “Now what?” after discussing new leaks for hours?

A new image, you say? Can’t find it using the usual tags :/ I would’ve been super satisfied with these 14 if they were a bit more detailed. The sight of Lucius and Lockhart is dull and it’s two iconic characters full of detail we’re talking about, unlike Hannah abbot, so to speak. Again, these pictures do not do them justice but we can already tell. Also, the reused legs are getting very annoying.

I was excited for both, but I have to remember my complaining won’t change absolutely anything XD

I know I know I see, thanks! $350 would be a dream considering I’m not too fond of the minifigs. With that piece count however, I don’t think it’s happening.
