Mr. Day-one-purchase no mo’ (Not trying to sound like a little brat here ) I’m excited to see what this other set will be. I thought that a MoM set was automatically discarded when kingnono posted his “expectations” and said we’re not getting everything, but he was probably just talking about the minifigures (CMF, burrow, diagon alley) If it is indeed the MoM, I guess Percy would be the only interesting figure... if he’s included, that is.

True true, it all fits perfectly, but of course our wishful minds may just be reading too much into it. Honestly though, if it were true I think we would’ve gotten major hints by now, seeing how it is one of the most anticipated sets. EDIT: It would make up for the lack of Ginny

I’M DEEAD Today’s riddle is hilarious! Thanks! Lol, I always get mixed up between the two. In spanish it’s called “Sala de los menesteres” (which is plural) so yeah... Regarding the riddle, I saw a comment suggesting it could be gibberish (Similar to a very funny instagram filter) And all I got was “Should you....” but I’m clueless about rent a motor. But seeing how you guys are really getting words out of these letters, then I doubt it’s gibberish hah.

How many pieces was the room of requirements confirmed to have?

Yeah, someone had previously shared it (not complaining!) And I like it very much! I wouldn’t mind getting something similar to that, I just love the rotating bits and stairs! It would be something very different to what we’ve gotten so far. The courtyard corridor would be a rad addition, but I guess we’re getting the greenhouse instead. But you know, what I like the most about this one are the not-so enclosed spaces and higher ceilings as opposed to the rooms we’ve gotten in the latest sets. HOWEVER, the side build is clearly built in the style of the old sets (missing pillars and gaps in the walls)

Damn, instead of a book with Snape they should’ve made one with Lupin The Snape fig is more common. There hasn’t been talk about another Lupin in the sets/CMF, right? (Apart from the initial rumor of the burrow) As for the GWP, I really don’t care about anything micro scale but I guess I can sell it (That is, if I love the D2C and get it) On a side note, I wish they could’ve exploited Poppy’s plastic skirt for this year’s sets. (Uniforms and Lavender’s skirt)

It’s interesting how we get a leak per day on average I’m most interested in the privet drive itself rather than the minifigures.

Someone's gotta help with the cleaning one way or another I like that polybag, good option for those who didn't get the advent calendar and although it's a third version of the great hall tables, I personally like that they keep updating figures and builds.

Oh no... Yikes! I’m afraid of finding out what they’ll come up with All in all, the builds since this reboot have pretty much been unbeatable, I’ve loved them all. Accurate, detailed, etc. The figures have been very good as well (new characters and variants!) but of course the CMFs (series 1 and what we have seen from 2) have been the stars. Seeing a good figure leak sets my expectations high for the next one, until they pull a Krum/Bellatrix/Lavender. So it’s like a rollercoaster of Woah! - meh - Woah! While I do not miss the sets from 2010-2011 AT ALL, I certainly miss the amazement of character introduction in sets. But I get it, the budget was managed differently back then. We now have better builds, more characters, CMFs, advent calendars, etc. I guess I will never forget the moment the burrow was revealed back then Those brand new figs!

At least it’s not as horrid as Fleur’s But yeah, bad choice still.

Woah, that Queenie face someone suggested is very accurate for Lavender! I might have to get it. Also, I had thought about Dorothy’s hairpiece being recolored too, but my hopeful self thought “Nah, they will come up with something better” In all seriousness though, queenie’s face and a recolored Dorothy hair (with maybe pink bows) would’ve made a very acccurate Lavender. Oh well, maybe she will get a ribbon and hopefully, some sort of skirt. But she’s probably doomed Maybe the rest of the minfigures will turn out better. Ron of course, would’ve looked better with dual molded arms, but I still like his torso.

Wow, I’m extremely disappointed in that Lavender figure. They really really messed up this time It will probably be the only variant we get of her, and it looks absolutely nothing like Lavender! What annoys me the most is, the budget used in a FOURTH luna figure, but they absolutely cheaped out on the first and probably only variant of Lavender.

Thanks for the clarification guys :) As much as I’m annoyed about the exclusion of Lupin, it’s only fair Ron is included here... otherwise it would be 3 (!) sets without him. Hopefully we’ll see more of Lupin next year, as well as a brand new variant for McGonagall; they’ve basically made the same outfit 3 times. As for the suggestion of Sabine’s hair for Tonks, it’s brilliant! Sadly, having the piece is not enough. BUT this will be Tonks’ introduction, so they better nail it! I’m not sure... I mean, I’m a sucker for accuracy, but if it’s the only Ginny we get for now it would be weird for her to be in her bathrobe, it would actually be hilarious. Needless to say, they need to catch up with Ginny’s variants. PD: I was about to type Lepin instead of Lupin, forgive me, LEGO

I finally found one from the scene with Slughorn and Aragog, but he wears like 3 layers Dark grey jacket > striped shirt > red shirt. Haven’t found a still of him using the exact one from the CMF in HBP. 1. I don’t know, but many of the CMF’s printing looks cheaper in quality, I imagine the bricktober pack was made where the CMFs are usually made. By cheaper I don’t mean awful, but the prints are smudgier/thicker as opposed to set quality, where prints come out much finer (this is NOT in every case though) 2. As far as I know (I could be dead wrong, so take it with a grain of salt) a new mold means setting up another line of production (machine), which is super expensive, in case they don’t replace another mold. I will look this up, as I’m pretty much ignorant of this process.

I always thought the HBP version just had the colors inverted (red jacket, grey shirt), that’s why I pretty much skipped that conversation hah. In that case, we certainly can expect a different print (although very similar) They just did it with Hermione and her striped hoodie, I always thought they would reuse her Hogwarts Express version.

Harry wears the exact same jacket from the CMFs in the Grawp scene, what should we expect? An unzipped version of it?

Nope, it’s the same one, it just has the fine “set” quality printing and not the thick CMF looking quality.

Correction: if he gets the protection as a separate piece, then it would allow variants for the rest of the team. But I’m getting ahead of myself, I’ll leave it at that. We can probably expect set reveals next week?

In that case I wouldn’t mind. I still like the Quidditch version better though. Not useless if he comes in the CMF, though we would have to pretend they all have new uniforms with that Shrek-looking Goalkeeper protection if we were to army-build

That Ron is incredibly boring, I hope they do his Quidditch variant instead :/ (maybe in the CMFs?) As for Lavender, given it will probably be her only variant, I hope they don’t cheap out on her. If Luna got dual molded legs having other 3 variants, then I expect no less than printed legs at least, and a new hairpiece
