If the rumors are true, then we will probably get male artists in minifigure form and female artists in minidoll form... which would suck so so much. Otherwise I don’t see why the mixup of minidolls and minifigs in the rumors.

This is so random and so strange, yet I feel extremely fascinated by the idea. I can’t wait to find out what it is exactly about. Honestly, I would prefer seeing 2000s-present artists instead of, say, 80s ones... but I think the latter is absolutely inevitable. We’re probably getting a bit of every era.

What excites me the most is the fact that these look like something completely different from what we’ve gotten so far. Minifigure-wise I can't say much because they are preliminary images ??‍♂️

I think if LEGO ever designed a buzz cut piece, it would have to be one in the style of Filch’s hair (except no hair molding) with printing on it??‍♂️ That would certainly make an interesting photoshop edit...

I think that’s the exact reference, I had looked it up too a few weeks ago. Also, funny how her hair there looks like a longer version of the twins’ hair with the bangs/fringe, but they decided to go for her more common “clipped” hairstyle.

Well now that the piece counts of the sets have been revealed, my expectations just went up haha. The room of requirement has 193 pieces, while the book with the least pieces has 233 (Hufflepuff), and the book with the most pieces has 271 (Slytherin). The RoR set is decently sized and I’m assuming the book bit of the upcoming sets won’t take up that many pieces, so we’ll definitely have some solid builds! I’m excited to see how these turn out! Congrats!! I’m on my way to 1000 after 9 years. I’m such a snail ?

It’s a nice idea, but I think the whole purpose of a book with a crest is meant to remain as an “exclusive” representation for the houses of Hogwarts. I mean the subjects really do fit as books duh ?, but this would be an opportunity to try something different. I’m thinking regular “square” sets with 3 walls and a ceiling so you could stack them on top of each other or connect the sides? Yes, the only reason why it isn’t so obvious is because they left out the nasty rotten teeth ? But now that I think about it, the teeth are an important bit...

Yes! Classroom sets! The book thing sounds strange though. Like some of you, I find the idea of the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw ones more exciting than the other two (specially because of the new variants!) Snape, Malfoy, Seamus and kettles sound too repetitive and whomping willow-ish, and if they reuse the variants we've already gotten this is a 100% skip. Seeing Snape re-appear 3 years later looking the same will certainly put me off If he's using the same torso then at least a cape and new printed legs, or something! The Gryffindor one will have McGonagall with a cape, so at least that's something... perhaps the dress piece for her as well? The other two sound very unexciting. Young Hermione and Ron need a new faceprint or something, they're getting incredibly repetitive!

Was the hedwig owl delivery a GWP as well or could I buy it somewhere physically? Are those usually sold at the lego store? ?
