[TC19] Kickboxer Diesel
chlego replied to Thirdwigg's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Maybe, to simplify things, you should leave AWD. I know, you really wanna build it, but I think it's just too hard. Good luck anyway! -

42111 HELP
chlego replied to Sir Bricks alot's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Sorry to say that, but it's not going to be THAT easy. You'll have to redo the front suspension completely, in order to put a diff If you want to include a center diff, you'll need to make some space for it But good luck, I like these projects! -
[HELP] Generic Building Help Topic
chlego replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yes. @Jim mentioned it in this topic : Basically, the technic theme didn't work, as you experienced it. He replaced it temporarily so that it works. -
@kbalage has done a quick tutorial on how to lower the car, I'm going to leave that here

Problems with the Technic Skin
chlego replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
When did the problem occur? I didn't experience problems, neither this morning, neither yesterday (World time + 1) Anyway, still, thanks for fixing it -

I guess it's possible, the hub is more sophisticated, I think, and Lego is raising prices right now -

Does anyone have general advice for making the bodywork of a car? Should I use the Lego connectors or create the angles myself? -
My weak points are: For cars: the bodywork, of course, but I really struggle more than other people, so: any advice? sometimes finding the right ride height for the suspension It depends on which car (off-roader, supercar, or sedan) but also sometimes the front axle Implementing the battery box if I do an RC car because the boxes are HUGE, and I do not own the train battery box DESINING SEATS I have no problem with the rigidity tho For other builds: For bigger builds such as excavators, the rigidity, though I'm getting better now For MINDSTORMS the cable management And last but not least, for alternative builds: Of course, finding the right part for the right place Also finding the right color Sorry for the long post

42110 - Land Rover Defender
chlego replied to 1gor's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thanks. I'll swap the diffs for now and if I have time later, I'll do that pimped up version. -

chlego replied to 1gor's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hey, I know I'm very late (I got mine for Christmas): I have the same gear crackling issues as all of you. Any new solutions found? I watched @kbalage's video quite long ago, so I applied all of the stuff directly when I built the model. I even rewatched the video to make sure I did everything perfectly, and I did. I am thinking about contacting Lego customer service. Has anybody already done that and got good results? For now, I'll probably swap the positions of the differentials, as suggested in this topic. Thanks for your help -

Quite surprised by the fact that the McLaren is the cheapest/part. -

I have the same opinion. I like Ferrari, but honestly: I have the 42077, and it's enough for me, I don't need another one. Plus, I bought mine for 100€, and I am not ready to pay 180€ only because it's Ferrari. -

But it isn't that long, is it? There's always a way to squeeze things in. Even if we could see the diff, I'd still be more pleased than now. I guess we'll have to do some modding, but that's ok. -

I mean the one from the 42109. I'm sure they could have found a way to insert it. -

NO DIFF??? I mean wth is going on? They could have used at least the small new one, but I mean NO DIFF??? The car isn't that satisfying to me, I'll probably buy the Jeep. Honestly I was quite looking forward to this since I really like the Senna. But I am very disappointed by this set. Makes me sad. -

Sorry for going off topic... I believe that they didn't make the optimal chassis on that Chiron because they wanted to create the "marriage". A completely useless feature. Because of that idea, the connection between the front and the engine isn't that great...
