  1. Yeah, I think people couldn't get over my Day 1 vote on JJP. I never feel comfortable voting someone like Shadows out on Day 1, but perhaps I should be. I thought I was reasonably active on Days one and two and even three to some extent, but seeing so many of my suspects turning up town and MT turning up scum really threw me for a loop. I still don't know why I took so long to vote for Sandy on Day 3. I can't recall what was going through my head at the time. I still thought it was funny that so many people voted for me instead of him at the time, but maybe I really was that suspicious. In any case, I need to work on not putting myself into these uncomfortable positions so much, though I'm not sure how to do that. I guess perhaps I overthink things or say more than's necessary for small things. I would certainly appreciate any advice on how I can be a better player.
  2. I use a Phoenix Essence on Grimwald. "Rise, sage, the battle is still upon us." Why don't you go back to the devil you came from if you're going to insist on being useless. One would think you'd be at least a little grateful to those who are rescuing you because you are too high and mighty to take a low road. "Nah! In truth, you're not that powerful at all and it's just a farce. You can't even raise your own servant from his fallen state or you have no inclination to do so."
  3. I could be wrong, but if you know you're the Paranoid Gun Owner, it's almost always worth telling everyone. I should know, I killed two good towny PRs in my first and last stint as the Paranoid Axe Owner.
  4. Ah, I didn't notice. Battle review time. Oh, and I also hated PKN's song. I still think Lordi was downright awesome though. Three top were deserved in my opinion and the margin of the lead was also deserved. But if there was a song that I absolutely hated with a vengeance this ESC it has to be Latvia's. Everyone else seems to like it through.
  5. "We are the Heroes!!!" Perhaps a more appropriate song for the hall. Heck,it could be the hall's theme song. Anyone could be mistaken for thinking the stick figures were poor representations of LEGO men.
  6. This is not how dual-strike works, Endgame. It's not a second turn for Vindsval, it's just that if he lands a successful hit (Mass Illusion is not a hit), then he either damages the one enemy twice, or he damages two enemies. Mass Illusion would only be rolled for once since it has nothing to do with the weapon as far as I know.
  7. And now you know why I get voted out in almost every game I play.
  8. "Nice work, gnome! Sometimes I do wish I hadn't given up the arcane arts, but a lesson had to be taught." Perhaps the time for the lesson has expired?
  9. Oh, and since I failed to mention it, TPRU, you were awesome in this game! From Day 1 I would have bet my bullocks that you were town. But then again, I felt the same way about MT for most of the time he was playing.
  10. I wish you could see the path on which you're going. Your sister turned into something like a demon itself, but I guess you won't believe me because you didn't see it for yourself."
  11. "Simon, you are surely in a trance. We can help you break out of it, but don't force us to have to knock you down in order to do it. Don't submit to the will of the demons in your heart." I follow orders.
  12. When she first PMed me that she had confirmed me as scum, I was sure she was lying. I was going to TPRU about it, but never got around to doing it. I spent most of Day 3 looking for evidence against Sandy and Lady K and was about to post my long analysis, but then it was late by the time I got on, and it would have been stupid to post the case against Sandy when he was already set for the Lynch, and then on Night 3 I got that PM from Lady K. I kind of get the impression that town won in spite of me in this game. Really MT, I never thought you were scum. In any case, at least the bandwagon I started against TPRU ended up with him outing himself, which, if it had not happened, would surely have led to the Town Block not forming nearly as quickly. Also, I could be wrong, but I doubt Sandy would have jumped on the JJP bandwagon if I had not "joined" it. Anyway, this game came at a great time for me, but even then it wasn't easy keeping up with it. Thanks for hosting, Bob! It was great fun!
  13. "Simon, beware, your angels only give you a false sense of security. They are not of Ennoc. Bella had angels similar to this, but when we ended it all she turned into a demon of rage. Don't fall down that path!" I follow orders.
  14. Actually, unless I'm mistaken. If Ann isn't scum then it's very likely that Eugene is and that he's lying about being the SK. ...Oh, either that or the scum tried to kill Al. But yeah, after further thought, the Watcher would be a good suspect. I too find it unlikely that there would be both a Watcher and a Voyeur.
  15. Only, I never venture to the first page of this topic. I saved the page and keep that for easy access.
  16. And we barely start talking about making money off the idea, and then we find out that somebody has already ripped us off!
  17. I know WBD was planning to test it out at some point, but I don't think he ever got around to doing it.
  18. I don't think I've ever seen a Voyeur used in one of my games here and I have a hard time believing that it would suddenly crop up for a game with so few people. I didn't have much of a scum read on you before, but then again, you've not really done anything to make me believe you're town either. Vote: Ann Foster (StickFig) It's nothing personal, sweety, it's just business...Lord Business.
  19. As I said earlier, the weapon used was the same as the one that killed Shirley and Pamela, which I have a hard time believing were not scum kills.
  20. Ha! And you actually believed that Endgame was going to go a quest without featuring the Regret.
  21. Hmmm....this is rather interesting, especially since the weapon used was the same one that was used by the killer of both Shirley and Pamela. Your insistence on voting for Ace yesterday, makes me suspicious then. Is it possible that you were hoping for an easy town lynch and using the guise of "I've already voted for him the past two days." It's not a whole lot to go on, but if you had found a sympathetic someone to vote with you on Ace, then Russel could possibly have avoided the lynch (although I can't say I know how those situations work) and Ace, someone who very likely had a PR (otherwise I don't see why scum would have killed him), would have been lynched instead.
  22. I slip off the Cloak of the Barbaric Rune Caster and instead put on the Rock Gauntlets. Moving around the boy, I slam my fists through the gate causing it to smash to pieces. "I always prefer to not fight if I can help it," I lie.
  23. I shrug. "Feel free," I mumble back, "but don't say I told you to. This is no true disciple of Ennoc anyway." I feel offended by the boy's comment, but choose to shrug it off.
  24. You know, we should lynch for a living considering how successful we are at at. Ann, I'll look into starting up a new business leaning to that department. We could be quite the hit, if you don't mind me saying so. Also, apparently I was punched in the face, but I didn't get any PM in regards to that. So, yeah, with that result, Sarah is pretty much confirmed Town in my mind. Greg is still top on my scum list for now, though I have to add that Wanda and Linda have rubbed me the wrong way since Day 1.
  25. "Ha!" I laugh at Marcellus, then. "Simon," I say, whenever he's finished praying, "I hope you'd do us the honour of slaying the witch before the battle. It would be easier on all of us than me having to argue about the need to end her once we've won."
