  1. Ever wonder why I called her "Erdy" throughout our whole quest together?
  2. Seeing all the veterans together leaves me too awestruck to speak. I just stand there, mind a whirl.
  3. Pandora and Chromeknight. My day has just gotten better. I won't kill you this time, I swear.
  4. Gah! And I was wondering why in the world I hadn't offered the armour to Annie, I must have subconsciously thought it was Karie in the hall.
  5. The first time I wrote "Kintobor." "May it serve you well," I smile, handing Annie the Armour.
  6. "Yes, indeed!" I say, looking at the knight, somewhat surprised. had I really failed to notice her? "Would you be interested in purchasing it? I would sell it back to Fabian, but it is always better to keep relics like this within the hall, or at least among its members...or so I think." I place the Heavy Armour on the table in front of Karie. "I've used this on many quests and it's never let me down."
  7. Because it's not in my Inventory. It's in my equipment.
  8. Spying Arthur in the hall, I hand him the Heavy Flail from my inventory. "Could you hold onto this for some time. I got some sort of message from another hero saying they needed and would pay 100 gold for it if I left it with you. Hope it's not any trouble."
  9. Entering the Marketplace, I decide to make some purchases of my own, considering how badly the last quest took a toll on my bag of holding. My shopping list: Grand Potions x 4: 40 gold Phoenix Essences x 2: 100 gold Smelling Salts x 2: 50 gold Nostrum: 35 gold Smoke Bombs x 3: 15 gold Neutralizer: x 2: 50 gold Tiger Balm: 100 gold Mulled Wine: 55 gold Sleep Bomb x 2: 100 gold Total: 545 * .75 = 409 gold spent. I then sell My Paladin Longsword for ten gold.
  10. Seeing Warlen around, I ask him. "Would you be interested in purchasing this Heavy Armour for 150 gold? It's perfectly fitting for Mystic Knights."
  11. Approaching Fabian at the Marketplace, I inquire: How much would you give me for this and this?: Cloak of the Barbaric Runecaster (SP: 3; wearer creates and deploys a Skeleton Decoy at the start of every battle; Suitable for Battle Mages, Necromancers, and Scholars; Backwear) Soothing Slippers (Meditation restores 5 ether; Footwear)
  12. "Hmm, with several pending transactions to consider, I'll get back to you on that."
  13. Notice: If anyone wants one of the artifacts I have on sale, then PM me, otherwise I'll probably just sell them at the Marketplace. I don't want to hold onto too many artifacts that I won't use and that no one is intending to buy cluttering up my inventory.
  14. I give Grimwald 250 gold for the Helmet. How much for the Staff?
  15. "Gah! I would have just claimed that helmet if I knew you weren't going to keep it. How does 400 gold sound for it and the Magical Staff? I'd offer more, but it seems kind of hot and like it would be uncomfortable to wear for longer periods."
  16. Thanks, Flipz! I've copied what I needed to.
  17. I put up a new notice. For sale: Heavy Armour (SP: 5; Immune to Fragile; Bodywear) Cloak of the Barbaric Runecaster (SP: 3; wearer creates and deploys a Skeleton Decoy at the start of every battle; Suitable for Battle Mages, Necromancers, and Scholars; Backwear) Soothing Slippers (Meditation restores 5 ether; Footwear) Ethereal Cloak (SP:2, Max Ether +4; Backwear) Seeing, Nerwen, I hand the elf 100 gold. "Here, I'd prefer to give you an artifact or something, but I don't think I have anything suitable for you."
  18. Thank you! I've been saying this since forever.
  19. "You are still buying those Bright Polishes, aren't you? I have a proposal to make: "What if I were to give you 1000 gold, the Bright Polish, and a Level-Up Mushroom (whatever that means)for your remaining Scrolls, that Lens you had, the Duke's Armour, and the Haling Stuff I've been pestering you about since...well...forever. "I mean, you can't use the Healing Staff as a Dragoon anyway, can you?"
  20. First off, I'd like to say thank you for hosting and apologies for not responding sooner. It completely slipped my mind. A problem for me is that once we got into the fighting it's difficult for me to concentrate on my roleplaying and I tend to forget about a lot of it. Also, I think we talked about Avery at night before we were captured, so it didn't really seem to make any sense to talk any more after. I could be wrong on this score. More likely, I just sort of forgot about it or Pretzel did. Oh, really? I didn't notice. I must have thought it was some kind of group discussion. I will be more watchful of this in the future. As far as Oko was concerned, I think he didn't seem as fangled as Yu Shu who really appeared bloodthirsty or something and too modern for Pretzel. Why, she was the one who took the greeny (I suppose he was just there for Oko's benefit?). Pretzel certainly fit closer to Oko than his sister. Yeah sorry about that. I could only get online shortly at first and then by the time I finally replied when I had more time, you had posted while I was typing. That was a little disappointing, though I think it may have made our remeeting Abel better. Flipz had a plan for me to give the Soul Link Chain to share between Marcellus and Gocklo. That would have been hilarious! I almost found it odd that Pretzel sided with Gocklo more than Marcellus, but I suppose Marcellus was trying to rescue a witch and Gocklo kill it. Yeah, I felt especially bad for KotZ because due to the nature of the battle, it was very difficult for me to come up with a battle order without knowing who Kiray would strike. I more or less dictated all actions, which I think was necessary to a certain extent, but I imagine it can't have been too much fun for KotZ. Again, I have a hard time doing serious roleplaying in battles like that and when I do come out, it takes me a long time to "get back into" roleplaying mode. i just hope I wasn't a drag. It just made a lot of sense to both me and Pretzel. I think Pretzel somehow felt guilty about his judgement on Oko, so he felt like he should pay some kind of penance. He certainly thought that he could be the only one to step out. Yeah, I think you handled that part really well. You did indicate that we could talk him out of attacking, but you didn't overly stress that we should. I certainly am glad that we did, because I love Abel and so does Pretzel. In truth, Pretzel would probably have been more loyal to the Order Imperial than the Paladins and I seriously contemplated switching sides at points, but there are a few things that prevented me. For one, I just don't feel comfortable turning my back on other heroes, especially when either side could be wrong. Pretzel, also, being a long-time hero from even before, is fiercely loyal to Heroica. He's not one to abandon his "calling" unless he realizes that the veterans have been duped. Also, Pretzel had a party who he liked all around, this discouraged joining with the Imperials. Furthermore, he quickly learned that Abel was just about the only Imperial that he liked, so he was certainly glad to "rescue" him. Overall, the roleplaying aspects of this quest were very good. Some of the battles, especially, where tedious, but there was some good loot to go along with it. I've got more to say, but this is all the comes to mind at Present. Thanks again for hosting us!
