I hand over a sack, magically containing exactly 200 gold to the dwarf. "May the blessed light shine on you," I say hollowly.
-
"Do the math," I say, not even looking up, "2 Remedies would be 17 Gold. 3 Remedies and a Shuriken would come to 51. And you can have the sword for free, but I'd take the Diamond out first." I hand Annie the items. Pleasant girl, I think, looking after her. At least she looks like she knows how to take care of a shield.
-
I shrug. My thoughts turn back, wondering if I would ever want to take the route of Paladin again. I grimace. No. The Paladins and their order are not what they used to be. "Fine then, I say, handing Annie the Anointed Gladius and Crescent Shield. Take good care of that shield, it means something to me." "Make me an offer and I'll probably accept it. I have no set price in mind." Approaching the dwarf, I make my offer. "I'll give you 200 gold pieces for the two of them."

In the Hall, I put up another notice: Monk Pretzel selling the following: Magic Viper Skin (Heals 1 health to wearer each round of battle unless knocked out; Accessory) Cloak of the Barbaric Runecaster (SP: 3; wearer creates and deploys a Skeleton Decoy at the start of every battle; Suitable for Battle Mages, Necromancers, and Scholars; Backwear)
-
Entering the hall, I cast a withering glance around at all the inhabitants. Peace could not be found in this wretched place. Perhaps the Marketplace is more suited to me. I quickly stride towards the quest board and survey the quests. One stands out to me. A chance to get back at the Wolfgang. Not a chance I should pass up lightly. I sign-up for Quest 135. Besides, the Dragonlord is one of the better veterans. Making him pleased can't be a bad thing. Thinking that it's been a while, I post another reminder on the board: Offering 15% discounts off all Marketplace items: See Monk Pretzel

I thought Matthais feelings on Lind were pretty clear.

Heroica RPG - Quest #127: A Light in the Darkness

I bow to Yu Shu in respect. "You led well. I'm glad we could be successful in bringing down their leaders." My words sound hollow in light of the events regarding Simon. I clap Samuel on the shoulders. "Good fighting with you too. You really saved our sorry necks back there. I'm certainly glad you and Yu Shu had a plan or it would have been very awkward indeed. May the light of Ennoc shine on you both." Having said that, I return to the temple for a while and ponder power of the light. Finally, discovering no real peace, I exit the building and return to the hall.- 607 replies

I won't state for a fact, but I'm 90% sure that it can be used in battle like a consumable on enemies to make them enamoured with you. You can sell it like any treasure at the marketplace.

Heroica RPG - Quest #127: A Light in the Darkness
Palathadric replied to Zepher's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Yu Shu, Abel has done much good this day. We cannot abandon him. He has made a stand against the leaders of the Order Imperial and we owe him much, as much as I do not like to admit it. We would probably still be stuck in the fortress surrounded by guards if he had not showed us the way out. He has my every respect. And even though he may or may not still feel differently from me on certain matters, the least we can do to thank him for his help is bring him back to Eubric." I hand Nerwen the Enzima Armour. "I thought it would fit me." I then add in a lower voice, we may as well give it to Yu Shu to remember her brother by, unless you think we can fetch a pretty price for it at the marketplace."- 607 replies

I think it's most often used that if you hit two targets both will be poisoned, but if you just hit one twice, then they receive double damage but not double poisoning. If it were me, I would say that it should receive double poisoning as well since the attack is hitting them twice.

I'm sure Flipz would want it for Arthur if he was making a comeback. Bright Polishes are worth much more than Grating Stones in my opinion because you can pay a price to upgrade without a Grating Stone, but there's no way to upgrade an artifact without polish...oddly. Out quest should round up soon if you want to talk business.
-
Heroica would not be the same without Heckz.

Not entirely sure why Nerwen is bringing this up at this time, and feeling to frustrated to even argue, I opt for ignoring her comment.- 607 replies

Until then, you may as well loan it to someone who can actually access the class and fly with those wings. No way, are you freakin' kiddin' me? Do you know how much people pay for Bright Polishes these days?
-
I'm in for the Fellwings. If it's purchasable. Pretzel will be looking for it after the last round.

Got to get something against that, I think as I lie on the ground and try to recall what exactly happened here. Gingerly, I pick myself up. "Well, that's over with," I muse aloud before beginning to dig a grave for Simon right under the gate with my Magic Shovel.- 607 replies

No, no, it's how you fix it. That Sigil of the Cold Circle is sweet. Very powerful, but it has its price too.

Avery, seeing too many people crowd around Simon, pulls back and throws her Dark Throwing Knife at him, mysteriously missing the throng (presumably). Samuel unimpressed by the effectiveness of his sword, uses the Shadeaux Flail for the same purpose.- 607 replies

Heroica RPG - Quest #127: A Light in the Darkness
Palathadric replied to Zepher's topic in The Heroica Archive
I clench my fists and grit my teeth in fury as Nerwen's kind act of raising the greenskin is repaid by a stupid move on the greenskin's part that opens up a path for Simon's power to overwhelm us. The only thing preventing me from smashing the disgusting green skull in half was the presence or rather the power of the witch behind us. Instead, I turn my fury on Simon, swinging at him from the Back Row with the Flying Cross, unless told to do otherwise. "Kiray, use that Phoenix Essence I gave you to pick up Grimwald unless Nerwen picks him up. It would be a shame if this battle were to end without him awake to see it."- 607 replies

Just get me six Cloak of the Viziers please. Actually, throw in the shoes too. They would fit Pretzel admirably.
