Removing the Soul Link Chain, I apply the Duplovian Helmet. "Ummm...I think we have to go back there. We can protect ourselves from the fire, but I just think that leaving now is not the best of options." I head cautiously back towards the flame, knowing the protection of the helmet and the cloak would ward off most harm.

It already has to be one of my favourites of all time, it may even rival 100.

"Hmm," I think. "Let me try something." Pulling out the Steak, I attack the Void Eater from the Back Row. "Don't worry, brute, this won't hurt." I snicker to myself.

This was just a really weird quest for Pretzel, because, despite the events of 108, Pretzel still is quite fiercely loyal to the Paladin Order. He still respects the Order Imperial immensely though, and he may have seriously considered switching sides (especially considering Avery, Marcellus, and the like) had the heroes not been there. At the end, he is also very loyal to Heroica and he really liked all the heroes he was questing with a lot. They were all too good, in his mind, for Pretzel to turn his back on them. He also didn't like Bella much, though he liked Simon until Simon said "nasty" things to him. Pretzel will probably become more argumentative again, at some point (though I find it difficult to play him like that currently), but now he's a bit disillusioned by the "greyness" of the world. Or at least that's what I say. It might just be laziness on my part.
