Okay, I don't feel comfortable with holding my vote in the face of a role-claim, unless it's necessary to secure a lynch. I do certainly find Al still suspicious, but I think I also think it's true that one vote (Shelly's) would not have put a whole lot of pressure or gotten things started as much as if there were two (Al's). So I can understand Al's reasoning somewhat, enough at least to not vote for him in light of his claim. The question is, who to vote for? Brian has been somewhat suspicious I guess. I do not like the fact that he's clinging to his vote in the face of Al's claim, but I understand as well that it could certainly be seen as a rather convenient claim. Brian has also been relatively talkative, which is a good thing, sort of. In any case, at this point I'd rather vote for Brian than Al. I will however, be able to get back online (barring a really weird occurrence) to change my vote later in the day, and until then, I'd like to present a different option: Sarah Harris. Her only useful post was this: Now I understand if one person (Eugene) missed out on the discussion and didn't realize Wanda's situation. I find Wanda somewhat suspicious despite everything, but this vote seems really poor and like no thought was put into it. Sarah echoes a lot of what has been said, offers nothing more and has slipped under the radar, contributing nothing so far. I unvote Al Cooper (TinyPiesRUs) and Vote Sarah Harris (JackJonesPaw) Oh, and somebody jumped onto it before me. Ah, well. In any case, this gives me a little more confidence that maybe we can secure a vote for Sarah.

I think I disagree with you. It's true that 17,000,000 useless votes is a bit much, but a round million? Seriously, speaking, I think it's better that more votes get thrown on the table that are switched around a bit as time goes on, then people who want to hold their vote and not commit. Also, you sound a lot like you're trying very hard to appear townie.

Thank you for pointing this out, but I believe Russel said more or less the same thing already.

Considering that Al is experienced at these...situations. I do have a hard time believing he would blow his scummy cover. However, he's certainly not acting like much of a town considering that it was, as Russel pointed out, his only post of the day and it contained little more than his vote. If he's town, he's not trying very hard to be helpful. So why should we not find his scummy attitude scummy just because he is "experienced?" Scummy is scummy, whether one is experienced or not. If nothing else, my vote and the added pressure will hopefully get him to come out of himself a little more...or at least I'd like to think it will. We shall see.

See, I've taught my chef a thing or two it seems. Certainly appears more learned than you are. Ha, ha! In any case, you'd better not stare at me too closely. Wouldn't want Ann to think there's something between us, because that would just be awkward. Woah! That escalated quickly. I'm not sure what Al Cooper is playing at here. I'd like to think he's just throwing weight on Shelly's vote to see who will bite, but if not, it seems just too effortless an action. Though I have to think that if he were scum, surely he would have thought of that? Meh! It's probably the most suspicious thing of the day, so I will Vote: Al Cooper (TinyPiesRUs).

Palathadric replied to Zepher's topic in The Heroica Archive
I repeat. "Gocklo betrayed you, how so? Well, it doesn't matter anyway. He has what he wants, and is out of our reach, Marcellus has what he wants. Everyone should be happy," I state glumly. "We've got to get out of here. Yu Shu won't hold out much longer. Abel will help us out."- 607 replies

That's my baby! Since when does anyone give more than a rat's megablocks about donuts? Imagine switching real food for crap! Can we just stop talking about donuts already? What will be talking about next? Puff-puffs? Please! ...Well, I have to give it to you that you are at least mentioning them for good reason. Donuts should absolutely be avoided at all costs. Like, obviously. You want to bloat your body out with anything besides good food? If you're going to get fat, you may as well enjoy yourself doing it, right? I can bet you 100 to 1 that the scum are the ones promoting donuts. I know, right? It's like lets all go into gardens and eat the vegetables directly out of the ground. Some people have no sense of class! Scummy if you ask me. I wonder what else they have buried in their gardens, but really, I don't want to know. In fact, I'll just say it in language everyone can understand. If you don't eat at our restaurant, it's obvious that you're scum for two reasons: one, you have no sense of class, hence deserve to be rooted in a group known as the "Scum of the Earth," or two, you've got something scummy to hide. Keep a register of those who come to our restaurant tonight, Ann, hun. And then we've got these silly noobs who jump to the other extreme. So scummy! As soon as a little bandwagon is formed saying fish are good to eat, they say that fish should be eaten fresh from the stream. What baloney. If the fish is prepared properly by professional chefs, and served in conjunction with all the sanitation requirements, then it may as well be as good as donuts as far as I'm concerned. Your comment smacks of desperation and like you're trying to separate yourself from your fish-protecting scummy partner. Do you happen to eat donuts while you fish, perchance? It's like, I like what you're saying. This town is built around good food, eaten in a proper location, with good company, gathered in said location. From the way you're jumping from the lone fisherman out doing his thing, to "let's all get together and have fun," just smacks of more scumminess than I can handle. Still, if you become a paying customer, you are welcome to our restaurant as any other.

I repeat my action in silence, apparently Nerwen and Grimwald need to concentrate on their singing and spell-casting respectively and are not up for chatting. At least they're doing a decent job of it.- 607 replies

Main Street Mafia: Confirmation Thread
Palathadric replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Wait, somebody got away? Did you get a recording. Sleep comes to those who work the hardest, unfortunately. Since when do you think my hair makes me look boring. Thirty years ago a man who didn't wear this look, went bald. This is the best they come. Change from the traditional hairstyles are what makes bad men do what they do. Have you noticed that all the bad men have these fancy "dos" these days. They're like completely insecure and think that looking different will help them find their true selves or whatever. Kids! Pff! See what I mean? Here is a person who knows what he's saying. Our hair has never sold our food, as far as I know. It's my excellent mannerisms and great personality that woes and wins the customers, male and female alike.- 71 replies

"I'm here. I'm here. Geepers, can a man get some sleep these days with all this killing and fighting and shooting going on. I just want to run my happy little restaurant...or like...whatever." "Stop mingling with the guests and get to work behind the scene. Chez Albert is all about me, Eric Foster, and Ann of course, the public is not supposed to see you. Heheh!" "Stop sounding so desperate. Pa-lease! You're going to make people think we're in the middle of a depression and who wants to eat in a restaurant as classy as ours then? Stupid economics! Who the hell are you and why are you wearing that stupid helmet. You're practically like the neighborhood gangster who alone wears shades and thinks no one will recognize him if he does so continually. Anyway...so long as you pay, my restaurant is open. Really, though, you've still got to lose the helmet. We're not a motorcycle club.- 71 replies

Heroica RPG - Quest #127: A Light in the Darkness
Palathadric replied to Zepher's topic in The Heroica Archive
"The creature came up with a man whom, I believe, Abel called Gustav. Gocklo had a knife at his throat and he was dragging somebody else along with them, wrapped up in barbed wire. He was the one who alerted us to your plight. Would you mind telling us what is going on here? As far as Bella is concerned...well...she is no more. "Samuel, try again with that Scroll, unless Nerwen says otherwise. Abel, heal me...please. Also...do you know who this knight is?" I direct the question to Abel. "He does not appear to be of your order." I attack Burning Knuckle from the Back Row with the Flying Cross.- 607 replies

I use a Phoenix Essence on Nerwen from the Back Row and with it defer *Party Leader* duties to Nerwen. "Wake up, Musician, we've got a battle to fight. We're almost through here. You've got to get these folks up. I hope that filthy green doesn't feel compelled to arise... never mind.!"- 607 replies

Oh, don't worry, multiple back-ups were made before the crash. They aren't the perfect Regret, but in an ever-evolving world, copies are always better than the originals.

I sniff the plant suspiciously and chew gingerly. I'm not one to trust strangers, but I don't feel that I'll get far without doing so in this case, and Samuel did recommend... "Pretzel. Honestly, I can't say I found the orders case too compelling then. I had no reason to trust the knowledge gained would not be used for evil, though you did seem decent enough. In the end, though, it may have been a good thing that we went to get it, because someone else tried too. Someone who clearly did not have very good intentions.
