  1. You forget Thormana the Terrible. Hmmm....Am I the only one who thinks we should keep "Secret" reputation in quests secret?
  2. "Sounds fair. Let's broker a deal. You give us your armour and weapons and we'll give you the elf. We'll throw the demon in there as a bonus... I snort in Reg's face. "Weakling!" I mutter. There's no R&D thread anymore. " "I'm going to be taking 23 damage from Free Hits, and Nessa may take a nasty hit from their elf, wouldn't it be better for Erik to target the elf and Nessa to attack the healer. Also, if Reg's special would Knock Out the demon, but I guess that's okay." I Seal Gontzo, if I fail, I do so Again, Otherwise, I Seal Feldorin. "Apart from that I'm good."
  3. Yeah, Blinding probably makes more sense. I actually don't know how Sleeping would benefit in any way over Blinding in a battle like this.
  4. Just wondering, why should we seal Gontzo. I would think it better if I were to Seal one of the others since Gontzo seems like somebody we would take out at the end when Petrification is not a terrible thing. I would think I should use my scroll if I fail and otherwise attack Reg while you put Gontzo to sleep, but all's good.
  5. I use the Scroll of Disenchantment. If I Fail, I use it Again, if I Succeed, I Seal Gontzo. Why we didn't give Dreyrugr the Tricorn is beyond me. I must have forgot he only has one Artifact equipped. Ah well!
  6. Wish you all the best on hosting your first game.
  7. If I fail at Sealing Nessa, I try Twice More.
  8. "Try signing to us. It'll be more effective than mumbling to get your point across." "You should re-read some of the events that occurred in Dastan there's was a Heroican Ranger who accomplished great feats while being unable to hear...um...speak. I quested with the bloke. Silent chap!" You aren't Sealed for certain yet. Vash, you may just want to confirm whether or not you'll give your gold to Sylph.
  9. Don't know. When I achieved Level 15 for Pretzel, I wanted to do one quest still as a Cleric, for the sake of the role-playing the training, and then I was planning on taking Pretzel through all the Advanced Classes. He would start as a Paladin, switch to Sage/Druid, then hit the other, go Shamen, all the while getting darker and darker, until finally he'd hit Witch, and then at some point or other he would realize what he's become and have a switch around and dwell as a Cleric forever more. This class-switching was why I went for the Robe of the Archmagi instead of a Heavy Armour, because I wanted an Artifact I could use playing as any Advanced Class. However, now that I've tested out Paladin, I think I will be sticking with it for a while to come. I think I'm kind of addicted to carrying a shield. None of the Expert Classes fit Pretzel tremendously well, besides, although Minstrel may or may not. Still I doubt he would take that route. Prophet though is a definite, unless I become so addicted to using a shield that I just stay a Paladin forever more.
  10. I drink one tonic and store the other one away for safe-keeping. "Brilliant," I mutter before casting Sealing on Nessa. Silly me! Don't know what I was looking at. I catch Nessa's hat as she tosses it and hand it back to her. "My mistake, I believe the druid cannot wear it without removing his glasses, and those are pretty worth his while to keep on." "With that, I think we're ready to go in there." After sealing Nessa, I drink another Tonic.
  11. "I can't make good use of a Grand Tonic for now. Hand me one of your regular ones." I splash a Grand Tonic on Sylph. "Since you'll be staying in the back and healing, you may as well mind my cart. Wouldn't want any of these rogues upfront doing anything tricky." I roll my cart containing my gold, the gems, and the scrap metal, etc over to Sylph for his safe-keeping. Dreyrugr hands Sylph his gold too. "Nessa, hand the Druid your Ranger's Cowl, since he can equip three artifacts, and you aren't using it. Would you be okay with me sealing you again?" "Bah! No reason to repay something used for the party's benefit."
  12. Heh! Druids are more offensive than Paladins considering that Druids can deal damage on three of their roles while Paladins Meditate instead of dealing damage.
  13. Should we just move on without DLL? We've been waiting for him for some time. I regard Nessa from the corner of my eye. At least she seems in good spirits now.
  14. I whisper to Erik, so that no one else can hear, "It's an idea, but I wouldn't trust my gold with anyone here, besides you. You understand, right? The elf is unpredictable, the druid is, well, we don't really know what he is, and then, you know, some demons eat gold coins for breakfast. If you want to give your gold to me, I wouldn't be opposed, but if we really don't want to waste, then we can always seal her." I actually do want to give my gold to Sylph or someone who's not likely to target her, but there's no way Pretzel would actually do that.
  15. I think so... "Pah!" I spit the pretzel out. "Worthless, tasteless. What was this devilish 'Grogmas' nonsense about anyway?!?"
  16. I think we're all ready to go. I just need to know what sort of effects I gained from my Pretzel and Sylph needs to equip the cloak and heal us. DLL, do you think you'll be on more regularly in the near future, or...? I speak with my mouth full of pretzel, "Druid, got a tongue under that helmet? Or any healing power left in those hands?"
  17. What if the spear/halberd wielder were in the back row, would they do full damage to an enemy in the front row?
  18. I consume a tonic myself. "Druid, heal us up and drink up those tonics from the hands of the devil, and put on that cloak, will you?" I had to admit it, my patience was running thin with the masked wonder. The first three. "So, Erik and team, should we go in without me paralyzing Erik's blade or should I paralyze it? It would seem a bit of a waste if he's not lucky and therefore has good chances of paralyzing everyone but Reg."
  19. I consume the Tasty Pretzel. ...Then I hand the Ethereal Cloak to Sylph. Forgot to bold again.
  20. Curses. Foiled again. "Druid, how much ether do you think you'll need to carry us through this battle? Do you think you'll use what you have and still need a complete refill before this quest is over. I would like to use the fewest consumables possible, if it's all the same. Still victory is more important than all else. If you're putting people to sleep, do you think there's any point in putting the paralyzing venom on Erik's blade? Who do you think could make the best use of a snack right now?" I wave the Tasty Pretzel around.
  21. "For one, the Ranger may be beefed up, so I wouldn't be surprised if he shows up hastened or encouraged, both of which could be bad news. It would be good for the Druid to take my Ethereal Cloak, I hand it to Sylph, It's not worth it to go for Little Red. You can't paralyze Reg either since he's immune to all negative effects. I would say, if we go with you paralyzing people, you try to take down the first batch. Pretzel: Scroll of Disenchantment Sylph: Scroll of Blinding on Gontzo Erik: Big Red Dreyrugr: Attack Gontzo if Sylph Unsuccessful Otherwise Attack Red Nessa: Big Red Free Hits: Feldorin (who may be encouraged) against Pretzel (Possibly 7 Damage)/Difur Against Sylph (6 Damage)/Little Red Against Erik (No Damage)/Reg Against Dreyrugr (1 Damage?) Dreyrugr may take 17 Damage from Gontzo or be Petrified, but the chances of either are not too high. He may steal his armour back Of course, this is adjustable given the strengths of the enemies and if they are buffed up. Reg actually has a Mead. Scary!
  22. This is awesome!
  23. I only saw Terminator Salvation. I believe it's the only Hollywood film that I fell asleep watching.
  24. Saruman would sweet-talk Dooku and make him his apprentice.
