    Yay! I need more Shadeaux and Guild of Invision reputation. I wouldn't mind the Bonaparte one, but I don't know how kindly they'd take to me after the events of 69. Can I tell them that CMP made me do it?

    "Alrighty, although I can only take trying this scroll a few more times and while I'm using it I can't hit him with my broomstick, but all is well. What I have to say though, is that it seems to be a waste for a hero who fights primarily in the back row to take the hit from Gontzo since he seems to do full damage whether in the back or the front, so this is what I'll do: Battle Order: Dreyrugr: Big Red (Crow Claw Dagger) >Sylph: Heal Dreyrugr >Erik: Big Red (Twin Axe: Double) >Nessa: Big Red (Silver Crossbow) >Pretzel: Attack Big Red (Flying Cross) if Big Red under 61 HP, if 61 or more, use Scroll of Disenchantment. "This would leave the vampire at 1 health if Sylph doesn't heal him, but he'll be able to attack from the front row. I would put our druid lower in the Battle Order, but it would mess up free hits. That wouldn't matter tremendously, but since none of us will take damage except from free hits, it doesn't make a difference where he goes." "Otherwise I'll just use the Scroll of Disenchantment and even if Big Red is low on health we can finish him next round."

    Sandy, do back row enemies always do full damage even if the hero is in the back row?

    "Yep. Besides, I think the the psychological effect of them losing their massive glob would hit hard and heavy." So you did. I am still certain that I've seen it work differently though. Even in the arena.

    I still think it may be too powerful, but if it's just a round it may be okay. It certainly would make the witch class a little more welcome.

    Why would Gontzo deal full damage. I was in the back row? People fighting from the back row deal full damage instead of half damage to those fighting in the front row not to those in the back row as well...I think. I attack Gontzo from the Front Row with my Heavy Flail. Battle Order: Pretzel: Gontzo (Heavy Flail) Sylph: Frailty on Gontzo or, if Pretzel's strike successful, Attack with Shrapnel Bow Dreyrugr: Gontzo (Shurikan) Erik: Gontzo (Twin Axe: Double on Gontzo) Nessa: Gontzo (Silver Crossbow) "I won't lie to you and say that our chances are good of taking him down, but let's see what we can do."

    "Who will throw the bone, then, remember, my scroll doesn't have tremendous chances of being successful, unless I use the neutralizer, but maybe I'll wait to see if the elf drinks his brews for that."

    Mass Illusion seems a bit over-powered, if the effect is guaranteed for all enemies. Wow! Sage's are looking up with the shield that restores all ether when ether is depleted. About the Sleight of Hand it says that the Sorcerer steals gold equal to each target's level. In most cases wouldn't he only be targeting one person though?

    I grumble out of the corner of my mouth. "Recognize the girl? She was at the inn. She could very well be one of the ones behind the murder from what we could tell. I believe Nessa had a less than positive impression of her."

    "What a pleasant surprise," I grin sarcastically. I turn the female. "And how pleasant to meet you once again. You are right that we are looking for a murderer. You wouldn't happen to be the person we seek, would you? Although it certainly is a pleasure to meet you all, I must ask why you treat our halfling friend in such a despicable manner? Have you something against the short folk? Furthermore, what are you all doing here and what's the glob behind you? Your daddy?"
