  1. Just saw it yesterday. Great fun! In a lot of areas I wish they would have stayed truer to the book, but some things did make a lot of sense the way they did them in the movie.
  2. Cool. For tiles, I guess it would be a bit more of a problem, or?
  3. I can only imagine Pretzel attacking this creep with the Overkill Gloves.
  4. I attack "Donny" Five Fingers from the Front Row with Dual Staff. Silly me, forgot to imbue the Amethyst into my Dual Staff before leaving.
  5. "Glad I seem to have a reasonable party with me this time around," I say, preparing myself should a battle be forthcoming.
  6. I shrug. "Can't say I know much about either house. They were linked to a murder of a certain merchant a while back, but as it turns out their links were probably based on false information, so nothing to go on I guess. Mademoiselle Shadeaux seemed like a pleasant enough girl."
  7. I don't have any. How good are they at removing those really troublesome little plates stuck in the middle of a bigger plate/baseplate?
  8. No lunch sleep during mafia heroica. Zepher, you forgot to add the Bleeding Effect to Baltar. Hey, you remind me of this guy who used his harvester on Town Watch members! So Masson is the one behind the Oculoids after all!
  9. I nod, and then look to Tarn, gripping my Flying Cross. "Don't know what this Hinckwell has done to you, but we can't very well let these ridiculous thugs have their way with him. I, personally, have nothing against the Hinckwells. Can't recall encountering any of them before now though."
  10. "Listen," I hiss as diplomatically as I can manage, "you are doing yourself no favours. You are the one who doesn't seem to understand what the Wolfgang are up to. Of course it's all about destroying the houses, but the idea is that it gives the impression to the masses that the houses are destroying themselves and the Wolfgang are stepping in to save the remains of the city. Your attacking a Hinckwell in the middle of a busy street where people can see makes the Wolfgang look like some criminal organization, which it is not, to the people. Ulric is powerful enough to not be worry about letting an enemy escape here or there but, trust me, he won't take kindly to seeing his reputation amongst the townsfolk falling any. The Wolfgang is powerful because the hovels support them. If that support is withdrawn he will not be at all pleased."
  11. I speak diplomatically to "Donny" so that Grady can't hear. "If I were you I wouldn't take on someone who seemed so capable of defending himself. Listen, Donny, or whatever you want to call yourself, if you keep up this nonsense against the wishes and orders of Ulric himself. I may regret to inform you that he will hear about it and have you punished accordingly. Don't think you can hide from the Wolfgang. Just as you said, we don't have any problem with you so long as you are not disobeying the orders of your superiors and casting off a poor representation of the Wolfgang to the people around. The Wolfgang is not a criminal organization and those who try to hide their criminal activities behind the mask of the Wolfgang had better beware for Ulric will not stand for them for more than a moment. He has been known to purge his ranks of scum. Now, will you prove to us your affiliation to the true Wolfgang by stepping down your act of violence, or will you stubbornly hold to your act and risk being tracked down and slain by the Wolfgang themselves?"
  12. I chuckle. "You may be right about that. Not, perhaps, the brightest of fellows. That's why he called on us heroes to help him out with the detective work there. His superiors clearly didn't seem to think too highly of him. I can't recall their names. They were lieutenants though...a man and a woman. The man's name was something along the lines of 'servant' or something. A few of the heroes seemed recognize him. The woman's name was something to do with 'light.' Not the friendliest bunch." I laugh heartily. "I know what you mean. The sort that walk the halls these days...they're a disgrace to the name 'hero.' It seems anyone who wants can just walk in and 'be a hero' at any time they choose when it is convenient for them. Heck, half of the so called 'heroes' seem to be using Heroica more as a way of 'legalizing' their robbing. The hall is riddled with cutthroats. I'm just glad the majority seem to do their shady business outside. Although, I can't be too sure about the Town Watch being any better. One of the fellow inspectors in our quest was this shriveled decrepit being who looked nothing like anything I've seen before. Don't even know what he was, but he ended up being the cause of the whole problem and we arrested him at the end of the day. I tell you, once serious crackpots start becoming a part of an organization, it can destroy the organization from the very roots, weaken the foundation, that sort of thing. It's sad when good places are corrupt by being too accepting of things and people who just plain wrong." "The marketplace ended up being no big deal really. Went there, breezed through the place, and left in just a few short hours. As it turns out Private Watsup was trying to frame Detective Hoples by stealing goods from the various merchants and planting evidence incriminating Hoples. We got that sorted out right quick, though. Ended up meeting the Dragon Lord who was out for a chat with the Copper Fox and some Feathered Orc. The Dastan trip was a fine one. Met with the Rito and we helped them to cure the great dragon, Retraga. Heh, we even encounter Mademoiselle Shadeaux while there. Out party was led by Maurice the Paladin, not sure if you know him. Good, upright man. There was also Harkenshire and Mizuki. 'De'kra?' Can't say I recall. However there was a Sorcerer on the team, a little demon. Heh! Odd little thing. He was one confused being. At the end he knew so little about God that I was almost convinced that he wasn't a demon. Even the demons are forced to acknowledge their counterparts. He was one confused being. Spoke in nonsensical language and couldn't understand the voice of reason. Haven't seen him around the hall much since then. Where have your journeys taken you thus far Arthur, and you Tarn? I have seen you around the hall a fair bit since my return to Heroica."
  13. Seriously? Boomingham owns this dude. Just needs a couple of wicked bombs. Or, here's a thought. Boomingham goes Black Knight and rapes Masson of all of his precious artifacts and weapons. I think that may be the most satisfying result from the battle.
  14. I think I'll have to pass this one again. A real shame, but I already cut back a couple projects to participate in Ragnarok and I can't afford to keep them on hold any longer. Good luck, TrumpetKing!
  15. So we really are having a nice Endgame quest where just dig for treasure and don't need to fight any multi-stage big bad bosses? I fall easily for Endgame's smooth talking despite my better judgement. Just as I open the Treasure Chest... "Boo! I'm your worst nightmare!" *Shakes fist at Endgame* To think I trusted you!
  16. "I hope they let us out more easily than they let us in...or at least just as easily," I fret. "Doesn't seem like Warlock Hoples is the most highly-regarded member of the Town Watch. Arthur--was it?--you claim to have been a member of the Town Watch, not sure if you were just bluffing though, did you ever meet Inspector/Detective Hoples?"
  17. Giant killer robots? I suppose, only if they're demon-possessed though and talk a lot about the woes of the world, etc. Intrigue? Pah! Surprise guys there's actually a demonic boss for you to fight who revives whenever you think you've killed him...oh, not surprised? But surely you didn't think he was the one behind it all? Oh, never mind! Treasure hunting? Ridiculous! That would take away valuable time that could be spent fighting multiple multi-stage bosses. So you see we know your hidden agendas and we won't be fooled so easily.
  18. Trying to fool us? We all know that it will be about demons and the end of the world as we know it and multiple stage boss fights. Why try to tell us anything different?
  19. I edited my post to include the "error." When will LDraw quit making all latest minifig faces and torsos and just give us the classics.
  20. i have a hard time saying. There are a good number of things that I like and dislike about each set, but I think I have to go with Lake-Town Chase.
  21. I can see what Scuba is thinking:
  22. My thoughts exactly.
  23. I not towards the guards as Tarn speaks and then speak myself diplomatically. "Monk Pretzel, friend of the Town Watch. Just came from helping Inspector Warlock Hoples uncover a mystery at the marketplace actually. As the lad said, we're here to visit the Oracle's Shrine."
  24. Totally need to see those again. Saw Part 1 a while back and everyone around said that they wouldn't stay to watch such an old movie again, but they all ended up staying for the whole thing and wanted to watch part 2 as well right away. Those are real classics! I like the concept of Part 2 the best, but unfortunately 2015 just looked like too much of a major glitch for me.
