Well it's meant to resemble a Dodge Viper(though my friend apparently thinks it looks like a dirt modified race car), so it would be wide. Perhaps 7 wide with the 6x3x1 windshield. If I were better at larger scale cars I would try it myself, but I keep them small to fit with my town anyway.

Wonderful looking little truck. I love the front end of this vehicle. Great photography as well.

Nice review LT. I almost picked this up.in the store recently, but I'm just not sure I need it in my town right now. The set looks good though, and I don't mind the sticker on the grille. Oh, and is every minifig addicted to caffeine?? Let's hope that's all that's in this guy's mug.

Good review. I agree about the ambulance seeming large. It's one of the bigger vehicles in my town. My only real issue is the grilled sticker though. I thought it looked very cheap(same with the Garbage Truck) so I changed it to 1x2 sloping grille pieces. Nice fire house too BTW.

I feel your pain, I only got two comments on my new 4 wides. but I'm also one of those who has spent hours looking at the Town Hall haha. Anyway, to the van. I love the colors. Dark green is one of my favorite car colors in real life and that holds true for Legos too. The rear hatch is a very nice touch as well. I'd love to see some of these brick built.

Another job well done. This van looks great, though I imagine the city these 8 wides exist in would have to be huge. These are all bigger than my largest fire truck. Perhaps for your next creation, you could turn my bolt python into an 8 wide? here

Wow, this is simply amazing. I had to share it on Facebook because this is the kind of MOC even non-AFOLs can enjoy. The sheer size of this is beyond impressive. Truly excellent work.

I think you have too much spare change! I'm very envious of anyone who can afford more than one of each modular. I'm even more envious of anyone who can afford the prices people are charging for GG, CC, and MS. But anyway, to your question, I think perhaps combining two THs would be enough. A whole block of them might look silly, but one Town Hall even bigger than the official one would look good IMO. But the size of that might not work unless you had plenty of other modular buildings, official or not. Or did you mean you want to have a block featuring just the TH? I'm a bit confused. Personally, I want a second FB. I have too many fire vehicles and only one bay to park in. I'd also love to add some floors to my GE. But what I'd really love to do is make my car dealership 48x32 or make a second dealership of that size and model it on the dealership I work at.

I only have the 3 that are currently available and while I'd love the original 3 as well, I'm pretty content with what I have. I cant wait to add this to my town. That said, does anyone else think PS looks totally out of place between TH and GE? I currently have my PS on the other side of GE and then FB where PS is in that picture. The way I have it is the PS block will be residential and the FB block will be businesses and government buildings.

Thanks LT. I tried to make the details interesting, as it is supposed to be Bolt's halo sports car.
-
Wow this looks very impressive. Should go well in between my FB and GE. March 2012 huh? Right around my birthday.

Indeed it is. I had been watching a lot of Initial D when I built that one. Now, if Dr Nightmare waned to do an 8 wide version of the Python....
-
Bolt Python I got the idea for this one the other night and just finished it this morning. Well, I shouldn't say I finished it yet, I ordered a red base for it to replace the grey one, but it's basically 99% to my satisfaction. My inspiration for this one was Dodge Viper, though when I started I was thinking Jag E-type. ^The headlights will be replaced with the dark trans cheese. I could only find one. I love the Kammback rear I ended up with. I started this build with a vision for the front and none for the rear so it took a bit of tinkering before I ended up with this, but I'm very happy with it. The SNOT steering wheel is necessitated by the tight cockpit. ^Designer and factory test driver. Some say that he thought Star Wars was a documentary... Poor Officer Richard Stubbs had to surrender the chassis of his vehicle Toyota AE86 Sprinter Trueno GT Apex And two new additions...

I like all of these alot, but especially that first one, the classic Seagrave. I built one myself but mine is a 6 wide. I've been wondering how it would look as an 8 wide. These have given me a lot of ideas for my own MOCs.

Very nice town so far Dakar. I have all the same modulars as you, so my town is fairly similar(GE and FB in the same location as you) though my PS is on the other side of the GE and I have my car dealership next to the FB. I love the little details in your town, like the street lights and the road signs. I also like the lively scene you've created.

That's brilliant usage of the sunroof piece as the tailgate/hatch.

Two different threads on this set and I've still never seen it in stores. I did pick up the new garbage truck at TRU though. I wish I had done a review on it.

Update: I got my Fire brigade and my wonderful girlfriend got me the Grand Emporium. I still have a ways to go until I'm satisfied with my town, but for now I think it looks really good. This will form the main square in my town. I'm hoping the next Modular is a Town Hall. On the opposite side of the street is my WIP Bank and an attempt at a house. Neither are really photo worthy yet, but if you want to see them just ask. I made a slight change outside GE. The popcorn stand was a staple of Old Legoredo and I thought this was a perfect place in New Legoredo. Thanks for looking.

I always loved the mini catalogues. My friend had a few from the early 90s, before we started collecting legos, and I remember we would look through that book over and over wishing we could get those older sets.
-
Those are two sets I've actually always wanted. Unfortunately for me, I cant build my sets until later tonight.
-
It used to be a tradition for me and my friend to call eachother after we opened our presents to tell each other what we got. Most of the time we were most excited about our new Lego sets. So did any of you get Legos for Christmas? Santa was good to me this year. I knew I was getting the Fire Brigade, but my girlfriend surprised me with the Grand Emporium. My brother got the Lego Truck and I got him the Alien Conquest set.

The only thing it is missing are the yellow insignias on the sides. Great MOC. I want to see his and the 'cuda brick built so badly. Any plans for your next creation?

A bit pessimistic, don't you think? Th mining sets make sense to me. If you don't overthink the symbolism of it. With all the blasting, there would be an increased risk of forrest fires, giving the new forrest FD something to do. And with the gold and jewels being mined, there is an opportunity for the bad guys to cause trouble, giving the forrest PD a real purpose. From a play standpoint it makes sense, and it's still more environmentally friendly than a bunch of lumberjack sets would be. I plan to have a forrest on the outskirts of my town where I would put the police station and these mining sets.

They use Skodas, huh? I would have thought they used something German, not something Czech. Anyway, great looking village so far LT. I've never been there, but the architecture is instantly recognised.
