Personally option 3 does it for me. The first one actually screams Citroën 2CV to me and the second just doesn't look right imo.

Great mods, I just picked up the Swamp Creature set today, and while your mods are subtle, they make the vehicle look much more complete.

Funny, I picked up this and my first Monster Fighters set today. Anyway, I really like the pickup design, I think its one of the better vehicles they've done in this scale. I would love to get the mine, but I don't have the space in my town for it, plus I'm really starting to like the Monster Fighters series.

I must have read your name wrong while opening the thread, because I opened it and saw the pic and said "hey, that looks like Dakar's red building." Perhaps that's because it is your red building haha. Very good job, its instantly recognizable.

Thank you! I have far too many cars to not have street parking like this.

@ LT thanks, I had Batman on the roof and then I came across my Spidey so I figured I would have them both lecture the Town Hall kids on the importance of kicking culpable butt. @ kvz thank you, I had originally wanted the Town Hall next to the GE, but then it blocks the windows of GE. @ wazza98 well shucks, thank you. I still see plenty of room for improvement. I would really like to move to a larger table and have Bolt next to the official modulars. @ Legocrazy81 me too! The design of TLG's new cars are great, but they are the size of a small SUV compared to classic 4 wides. I personally don't see the need for such bulk. Classic 4 wide still offers the opportunity for plenty of details, as I think I have shown. As for the boxer, my director minifig is filming a new action movie. The western shoot out is a reenactment, as this was once a frontier town in the wild west. @ vriverajr3 thank you, looking forward to seeing yours.

Well its intended to look like one of these old Seagraves.

Great review. I had the rerelease of this set, it was always one of my favorites. Unfortunately, its now part of my modular car dealership.

V-LF-14F I'm not fond of the truck that comes with FB so I built my own to fit inside the building. With the ladder like it is, it pokes out the back door but it can be repositioned to fit inside.

Very nice firetruck antp, I like the mix of new and old pieces, plus the use of pieces from the truck that came with FB. The red and black color combo looks great too, especially with the old fire logo. I too made my own truck for my FB, though with a less modern approach. I'll make my own thread with more pics later but here it is. Funny how the fronts of both are very similar yet totally different.

Being American, we get deprived of quirky French cars such as this, but I've always had a weird fascination with them, particularly Citroëns, though I also have a strange love for the Avantime. I blame Top Gear lol.

Great cars, I love the Fury and Batmobile. I wish TLG would introduce their own minifig scale 1966 Batmobile.

Absolutely wonderful little 4-wides. I love the combo of new and old pieces and design, very similar to how I build my own 4-wides. My favorites are the chief's car, the 4x4 mpv, and the RRU.

It looks great so far, I like all the action. My only suggestion would be to switch Fire Brigade and Town Hall. I think TH would look better in the middle rather than on the end.
-
Yeah, beds for the rooms and I was thinking a small cafe on the first floor.

update: Guess what is going to be built in that lot I know, I know, it's not a modular. This is how I've built the Legoland Hotel for almost a decade, and I needed more residences in my town. Simple, but effective. And my mods to GE. That is meant to be a Wild West playset, hence the Indian. And I finally found a use for Spongebob, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs.

Great looking plane, I like the way you did the wings. Flip those around and you could make a nice F86 Sabre or MIG 15

Thank you EROL, that means quite a lot coming from an MOCer of your caliber. The Stallion GT is the upgraded model, the V6 version is the black car sitting in front of the dealership. The hood is the real difference between them, and it becomes quite clear that the GT is packing some power, with its cowl induction hood compared to the base model's flat hood.

In the picture of the side of the building, the car on the right is an 86.

Nearing completion, though I feel like I will be tweaking this one for years.

Great car park and I love the car you used to showcase it. That was one of my favorite sets for the vehicles. I wish I still had that car intact.

I fell in love with the Alfa Spider when I was younger, playing Gran Turismo 4. These two are great. I don't usually like this scale, but you did a fabulous job here. I love the number 3 and the stock one on the left is instantly recognizable.
