  1. Yeah, but you can hook them both up to the same software, right? Maybe because the limited storage capacity, TLG wants to avoid having unused functions in the firmware or something. I still think it's strange. As far as I know, you can simply switch back by hooking it up to the Spike software.
  2. Yeah, you need to swap firmware if you want to use Spike on the Mindstorms app. I'm really surprised it apparently uses a different firmware. Seems totally unncessary to me, but there will probably be a good reason.
  3. Hi. Welcome to EB. I removed your video because it contained images with the confidential stamp on. Since we are recocognized fan media, we don't post images/videos with confidential stamps.
  4. Okay sweet. Thanks for the clarification. I will take a look at your videos.
  5. Since I am writing a review and I cannot publish it until the 10th, I was wondering; where did you get the box and do you have permission to post the content already?
  6. So it's not done This reminds me of developers in my team. "Yeah it's done, I only need to...." Jokes aside, keep up the spirit and we are all anxiously awaiting the final results.
  7. You just beat me to it. Voting is indeed up They replaced the strange Photoshop image with a regular image of the Porsche 911 RSR?! Yes, no, maybe, definitely not, a wait, maybe again.... It's a page to test the waters. Not sure it will ever see the light of day, but at least we need to try by voting.
  8. It won’t be coming. Check the info in the previous posts.
  9. Technically, it still is a fake Photoshop One possibly made by TLG though, which makes it interesting. Nice info! I will get official information about this mystery soon
  10. Let's end the non-LEGO discussion. Thanks.
  11. Assuming, you are using the rotation sensor, it probably isn't accurate enough. What happens if you don't use the sensor, but you have the barriers move for a certain period (and try to calibrate that period). Do you get the same results?
  12. Nice setup. If I understand correctly, after opening en closing the barriers, they don't reset to the right position? Does that happen right away, or a bit every time you open and close the barriers?
  13. It’s a fake Photoshop.
  14. The sensor on the front is Photoshopped badly
  15. Okay, maybe an ambulance isn't exactly a girl thing, but all the boys I have seen begged for fire trucks, not ambulances.
  16. If TLG introduces lighting parts, I don't see them do it in PB sets. Seems like a wasted opportunity to make some other smaller sets more interesting. Could be wrong though
  17. Ahhh right, I remember. Let's do a fire truck, ambulance and police car in the same year. That would allow for lots of playability
  18. Refresh my memory please That project would probably apply to a fire truck as well. I simply don't see kids running to the LEGO store and pointing out that cool ambulance. Most of the boys are interested in fire trucks. Maybe the new gender inclusive strategy allows for making an ambulance, but I'm probably touching a sensitive subject here. This.
  19. An Ambulance doesn't have nearly as much functions as a fire truck, so it doesn't make sense from a Technic perspective. And I don't think an Ambulance has much appeal sitting on the shelf.
  20. Members waiting for updated instructions be like...
  21. October 10th is the embargo date for the review.
