There are two perfect examples of small-to-medium scale Harvesters in the WIP topics. So my suggestion would be.....build something else!

[TRIPLE] Gmshades' Entry
Jim replied to gmshades's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Great entry! Well done! Would be great to have your final pictures taken in the grass/field or something And remember to name your entry and put it in the entry topic when you are done. (you can always edit your entry until the 1st of December btw) -

Looking at the picture more closely I noticed that the cab is one stud higher than the rear of the truck. -

Very well done! The cab is indeed a bit too far forward and it's too low, since the new tires are bigger. But I am impressed nonetheless! -
[TRIPLE] Let's Go Gliding !
Jim replied to Seasider's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I love the glider and I still like the canopy this way! -
This is probably to lure customers to the shop. Or they just don't know what they are selling. Strange either way.

Sets better destined as 'Spare Parts'
Jim replied to DrJB's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
What's the A model? Guess you mean the 9394 hehe -
Most of the time it boils down to when a set will be out of production. The 42009 will still be available for a while, so you might want to choose one of the other sets. The 8109 will disappear very soon. It's already very expensive if I am not mistaken. Although I am not the biggest fan I would still recommend getting the Unimog. It's an iconic set. Or get the 8109 while you still can.

Jim replied to piotrek839's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
The rear section of the crane needs some work. But overall a very impressive creation. -

Sets better destined as 'Spare Parts'
Jim replied to DrJB's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I know the majority of EB members are not very fond of the set, but I am a big fan! Must admit that I like planes and helicopters. Looking forward to hearing your opinion! -

Hi, welcome to EB! I have corrected your images. You probably messed up a bit while editing. Very nice modifications! -

Sets better destined as 'Spare Parts'
Jim replied to DrJB's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Indeed! In my opinion it's a great set! Nice functions and pretty big in real life. So Jantjeuh, please do build this model. It's underestimated! -
