[MOC] Technic Scania
Jim replied to Fig850's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
This is a very nice creation!! A nice introduction here on EB, welcome! Could you be so kind to use images with a maximum resolution of 1024 wide. 800 wide is commonly used. I recommend to use Bricksafe (or Flickr) where you can upload the hires image and link to a smaller one. -

I second that. I knew you could (and would) come up with something different!! -
Amen to that. Looking at Modaca's impressive list of MOCs on Rebrickable, I can only come to the conclusion that very few (actually, I would be proud of these number) people actually own his sets (around 50 max). Let's say the number of people who buy instructions is five times higher than the number who actually build and thus own the "set". Then you are looking at 250 instructions max! And we are talking about a very skilled and popular builder. I personally think it's a safe assumption that you will have a very hard time selling more than 100 instructions. But like I said earlier; why don't you just try one, enjoy the project, create the instructions and see what happens. Don't expect to earn lots of cash, but enjoy the ride and see what happens...

Hehe Okay, it's probably better that we stop now and wait for some actual news -
In other words...how to design the area between two bent liftarms in an elegant way?! https://www.dropbox.com/s/mvopicqrtnqqe4i/BentLiftarms.lxf?dl=0

I'm trying to finish one of the wheel hubs. The goal is to make it rather closed design, so not too many gaps visible. I'm particularly struggling with the corners (obviously). I'm open to suggestions for an elegant connection between the two bent liftarms. I think this is a particular cool design, and I will more or less try to replicate the color scheme. (however, the color scheme isn't important right now. The actual design is) Here's the updated file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gf4ag38bvdt0tlz/Base-v2.lxf?dl=0

So the list originated in English, then it got translated to Russian and after that we were drawing conclusions and speculating that the English names weren't correct, based on the Russian names -
[TC10] Front Loader Garbage Truck
Jim replied to Minique85's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
While you are right, I will allow this entry for now. As long as the rest of the build isn't borrowed from existing MOCs or models. I have seen other people using some elements of other models or MOCs.- 32 replies

It does stick out a bit more, but building a ship this size in this scale sometimes requires making minor concessions.
