MOC- Urban Turf Tractor Attachment - Sprayer Following on from my Urban Turf tractor MOC, I have created a new attachment for this, a sprayer unit. This attaches using the normal mounting point and uses the PTO for raising and lowering the sprayer arm. This again only uses the pieces from set 42079, making it part of this C model series.

https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-33786/iiLego/truck-42075-alternate/#comments Recently I was able to pick up LEGO Technic set 42075 for $20 second hand, this was a part of a bulk lot that is being sold locally. My original plan was to use this as parts for my MOC's, after checking on https://rebrickable.com/ I found this truck which has been designed as a "c model". I downloaded the PDF instructions of 69 pages and over the past two nights have built this. The total build time was two hours, including some parts sorting. This truck features: Hand Of God Steering via the steering wheel on the roof. Two cylinder engine which drives via a diff and the rear wheels. Rear Towing arm. Overall I found this enjoyable to build and the end result is good. Given the left over parts, I am planning on making some improvements and changes to it. One issue I found was that in a couple of spots I found the instructions to not be great at showing where parts were meant to go, I had to flip backwards and forwards to make sure I hade not missed any steps. Great work, it has given me some ideas for my latest MOC. -
Recently I have returned to the LEGO Technic hobby. The first set I purchased to rebuild my collection was 42079. After building the A model (but not adding any stickers) I decided to try making a C model using just the parts from this set, I present my Urban Turf Tractor. This features:HOG SteeringOpening HoodRear hitch lifting (via black connector)Rear PTO (via 8 tooth gear under cabin) At the moment I am working on my first attachment for this, a rear mounted plough, this is also made using only the left over parts from this set. I will be presenting some photos of this shortly. My plan is to keep making as many different attachments as I can from these left over parts.
