  1. Yeah I asked them many times why they wouldn't have physical controls (like every other Lego clone these days).. or at least release bluetooth details so BC2 app could fix that.. but no proper response.
  2. I think at this point it's safe to assume that just "not all" of those marketing promises Buwizz made are true. Steering doesn't work, the voltages are not there (mine also instantly bricks on a single buggy motor), people are having all sorts of issues.. and all official answers (not here, directly via Buwizz I mean) are kind of "yeah, we're working on it.. have faith". You could't do this in a big firm but if all your clients are kids/nerdy adults who still play with Lego then apparently you get away with it. Shame.. personally I'm a big fan (still.. but that's the last thing I bought).
  3. Your support here is appreciated! Well.. we see these pre-order drama/marketing-hype/employee crunch scenarios in many industries. I guess though, taking my money many months in advance and stressing yourself, causing both a delay and an unfinished product in the end wasn't really necessary/the only option for Buwizz. But anyway.. Direct support of gamepads would be smooth of course but indirect like brickcontroller2 app (developed by one man if I got it right) works fine also (missing BW3 support as of yet though). Just seems like buwizz should be capable to have that function as well for such a premium price..no?
  4. Not attacking you.. just saying I heard these excuses for delays or pretty much any other issue (too) often.. especially considering the rather high price you demand for your device I suppose I am not the only customer to expect true transparency instead of delays, excuses and empty phrases. If you're a true MOC builder, why do you release a product which isn't final (and without gamepad support)? Sorry, I really am a big buwizz fan and spent lots of money with you.. just finding my patience limited now after this buwizz3 delays and issue marathon :-/
  5. When? You also promised firmware updates for Buwizz2 which never came (e.g. to solve the servo oszillations) Also, when will bluetooth protocol be released (for gamepad steering via brickcontroller app - touchscreen steering has always and will always be suboptimal :-/ )
  6. Just got my Buwizz 3.0 and I can't get the center mode to work. I set it all up according to the manual, tried a L and a XL PU motor, both act identical, i.e.end a few ° off center after calibration and what is worse, every time I connect (or disconnect) the Buwizz the motor will spin a few turns with full speed. Also, when connected the motor will constantly received some current, i.e. make some minor noise and movements. Altogether that doesn't seem like it's working at all. Even funnier is that the manual says such a "center-motor" needs to be mechanically rectricted to 90° both sides so in my case those restricting pieces will be kicked off with brute force once the motor connects and does its "hello-spins". Needless to say, it would destroy my model if I implemented it like that. Cherry on top: I can't use the new Buwizz 3.0 for old PF Servo, as it will oscillate (like it did with 2.0 on fast and ludicrous mode - a bug that was never fixed). Thanks for quick help hopefully.. if that's not solved soon I'll send it back for refund. I am not going to hope for bugfixes in promised firmware updates, which never come (never came for 2.0 at least). :-( PS: Bonus question: As I am thinking to re-build a heavy 4x4 truck from PF to PU (from Buwizz 2.0 to 3.0). Will it have more force (using same motors, i.e. 2x XL for driving)?
  7. Yeah they told me they're still busy bugfixing and writing a userguide. I love their product but it seems they're again selling some more or less finished thing (let's hope contrary to BW2 they actually deliver firmware updates later that fix stuff). Why they haven't long copied your gamepad playing element (or hired you) is completely beyond me.. with eyes on the rc car and without haptic feedback touchscreen steering is annoying and unprecise. :-( Long story short: I pray for your update soon.. I'd even pay for that obviously. Spare time or not, you've done something great here!
  8. ah great thanks. not sure I know how the c+ servo thing workes, I might ask again when I have buwizz 3 and c+ motors in use soon. really hope you get the bluetooth protocol soon!! is buwizz company supportive in such matters? To me they seemed very friendly but when I asked if they implement gamepads like your app, they said they don't have the resources.. :-( Obviously I have no idea of app programming, but you and your app are not exactly a huge corporation either it seems..
  9. Dear Istvan, thank you for your great app! 2 questions please, if you have time: - will you update the app to include support for buwizz 3.0? - any chance to add "special features" like tracked steering and Control+ motors as servos? At the moment it seems for those you need to use Buwizz app (which cannot steer via gamepad however).. so I'd prefer your app. thanks again!
  10. I've recently done that.. see my comments in Effermann's Ultimate 42099 thread on Rebrickable :-)
