  1. Haha, it’s kinda a running gag. I enjoy your response here.
  2. We will see what other 10 minifigures will be and I’m very excited!
  3. jsut like Ajaccio Lego said, i think the normal minifigures a that would reprint classic themes?
  4. Still no minifigures for Super Mario .
  5. I can understand Ninjago is not quite classic but it is classic. I remember some AFOLs argued about Binocle as “vintage” when they voted for a 90th anniversary set in 2021. The fact that Ninjago and Bionicle are not exactly vintage don’t bother me at all. it just makes sense that they have their own anniversaries in CMF series. I really can’t wait to see other 10 minifigures in a few months!
  6. Yup! Although it’s little weird that they are doing this for 2026, instead of 2028. 2028 will mark as 50th anniversary of minifigures. I’m very curious to see an entire Series 29 and the 50th anniversary series. I can understand that Lego wants to keep AFOLs happy but in my view it’s very nice that younger generations are greeted by characters from pole themes (except for Lloyd).
  7. For me, i would love to see Pepper Roni, Cedric the Bull, King Kahaku, Achu, Rock Raider. If they do a Rock Raider, that would be cool to see a “baby’ rock monster.
  8. If other designers think it’s rude for Dang Hoang to throw that classic chair, they would say something beforehand. Also, the classic hair is still produced in many sets for 40 years. So I don’t think it’s that rude to Lego itself tho?
  9. Honestly, a classic minifig chair in a trash is pretty humorous when there is already a post adveristiing its sale. No one buys those chairs so they are thrown in the trash. It’s just a story there. And I can see why Dang Hoang wanted to make an alleyway in that set. He is form Vietnam and he grew up in alleys there. So I can see why he was inspired from his “alley” life. Also, from where I live, there are so many breezeways down rowhouses. They don’t look like gates to me at all. Just breezeway (alley with bridging floor above it). Breezeway or alley could work for future modular buildings - hidden or exposed.
  10. Someone posted a pic in Reddit. And it looks like this Seires will be “classic” and it will come out in….June?
  11. Wait June? Not May? Also, there is a thread for Seires 29 created by @Robert8, let’s discuss there! Space Series 26 Animal Seires 28 Classic Sereis 29 So yeah< I would assume some min figures form classic themes!
  12. So I decided to order two 6-packs off Lego S@H. I hope i won’t get a few duplicated minifigures but it’s still likely I will get a few.
  13. if you are criticizing Dang Honag’s French Cafe, what about Jamie’s Parisian Restaurant? There is some romance element in that set - a man proposing to a woman with a ring. And the architecture seems pretty classic and romantic. So don’t blame Dang.
  14. I really don’t’ care about LOTR 18+ sets, I only care about fantasy creatures and some cool accessories and minifigure parts. I would love to see Lego to give us some playsets that are easy to get rather than those expensive adult-focused sets.
  15. Out of curious, what do you expect to see that Western sheriff’s hat? Like a new mold or recolor? I am waiting for Western figures with hairpieces from the Lego Movie CMF (the Western robots, to be specific), would ever show up in regular CMF series. As well as Wllie’s raccoon hat.
  16. I would love to see City subtheme that features castles and renaissance faires. Or maybe City subtheme sets in the past jsut like it did wiht a futuristic Space sub theme in 2024. Or at least they would introduce a neo-Fantasy Era theme. I always love a classic dragon mold (ignoring those buildable Ninjago dragons).
  17. I just ordered Shoppping Street online to get Vinteage Parade Car GWP on Jan 1! I wonder if there will be marching band’s uniform will show up on PAB? The tan kitten from Tudor Corner never showed up on PAB.
  18. Yup…. I have built modular building series which they are non-licensed. I added in-house characters to my city and I add ninjas from Ninjago to my city. I add dinosaurs from licensed theme Jurassic World (i ignore the entire sets, only bought dinosaurs off eBay) to my city, creating stories out of pure imagination. Now i have my 9-month-old nephew so I will make sure he is engaged with in-house themes in future when he is old enough. It/s always important to have imagination, ratherer than replying on existing pop culture (movie, video games, play produciton). Agreed with you on everything you said.
  19. Exactly. I only follow this modular building series since Police Station (it was my very first modular building to build) and i love it. And I find it very hypocritical of others who don’t welcome new designers, at same time they love Tudor Corner.
  20. Don’t’ get me wrong but I appreciate that Jamie Berard is away from Modular Buildings series. It means that it lets newer designers come up with unique & clever buidling techiques as they have ideas. I always appreciate Jamie Berard’s work but I also appreciate low-profile designers like Hoang Dang for Shopping Street. I reallly don’t understand why AFOLs saying Jazz Club is like a Creator set or Naturali History Museum is “too much green like Parisian Restaurant”. Or even Shopping Street is a “mini—mix of Boutqiue Hotel and Assembly Square”. All I see is that different designers come with their unique ideas and I love it. I think it’s called empowerment that Jamie Berard should let different designers do after his departure from Modular Buidlings series. On the other hand, AFOLs like to buy unofficial modular buildings off rebrickables, maybe it drives the official series to decline?
  21. Yup i know. Space police89 has a great example of modifying fantasty sets into normal pirates. Although, don’t get me wrong but I love fantasy elements like Fantasy Era. :)
  22. No idea. I mean i feel like they are very familiar with existing pop culture like Harry Potter, Star Wars, Bluey, Super Mario, and see the licensed sets on shelves and they would say “Ohhhhh this look like the ones I saw before! I want it!” And don’t bother to get original in-house themes.
  23. As of Demcmeber 2025, there are rumors that Monkie Kid and DreamZzz will meet their ends in 2026. If it’s true, then there are no direct replacement. But it seems there are too much license themes right now, with Pokemon, One Piece, Star Trek, Bluey and a few more. I am losing my interest in majority of those licenses, except Harry Potter, Jurassic World. It’s just absurd that kids are obsessed with licensed sets like movies, video games, play produciton (Wicked). I know it sounds like it’s nostalgia but I’m jsut puzzled why kids are not into original in-house themes. Like kids from Disney’s animated Heracles are obsessed with hero so they buy stuff off shelves.
  24. Yeah so what? Don’t’ you prefer in-house ones over licensed ones like Pirate of the Caribbean?
