Oh I Competely forgot about this thread! I was just talking about molded dragon somehwere. I love collecting molded creatures no matter if they are realistic, fantasty, sci-fi or prehistoric. Anyways… if 2025 is indeed a “Year of the Castle”, then I would love to see a small or medium molded dragon showing in some of Castle sets. I just don’t know which long-retired theme that had dragon molds in the past. There are two new dragon molds in one year - both of them are baby dragons. One shows in the recent Hagrid’s Hut (Harry Potter theme) and another will show in Dungeon & Dragon CMF Seriess later this year. Also, we have Riku the baby dragon showed up in Ninjago sets last year. We had old molded dinosaurs in early 2000s but now we hae modern dinosaur molds from Jurassic World. We had old dragon molds, so…. However, on other hand, there are large dragons that are made out of pieces in both Ninjago and Harry Potter themes, yet they only contribute introducing new molds (head, wings, etc). Just no dragons made out of molded pieces yet. As @Aanchir mentioned in seperate thread somewhere, the large sets that target adults - dragons might give AFOLs some fun building experiences, which it’s quite true. Several buildable dragons in Ninjago are targeting young audience, it seems.

Agreed. Given that Ninjago theme only target young audience, they continuing dragons out of pieces but they only make new molds (head, wings, etc) yet not the whollly molded dragons yet.

I don’tknow which dragon mold showed up in long-retired Castle themes but I do love to see a return of drago molds (updated) some days. I understand that it’s unlikely since Lego only do buildable dragons (see ones from Ninjago and Harry Potter themes). But we had old dinosaur molds from the past and now we have modern dionsaur molds introduced in Jurassic World theme. Hmm after at least one verison of each named character? It sound like theme will be discontinued…. I don’t think that’s silly they would do unarmed characters but I guess you make a point then… Obviously you took a part ouf of my quote when I was talking about James minifigures in Gringotts Bank.

Don’t Gringott Bank have some unnamed characters? 1 Death Eater, 2 goblins and 2 guards just like we saw them in movies. It would be cool to have unnamed ghosts, professors or studnets at Hogwarts. Or even at Hogmeade. I remember there is a deleted scene where Trewnaly sat at High Table next to the unarmed female professor during Umbridge’s speech in OotP.

And let’s not forget that there was a sleepyhead ghost walking through Ron or someone in Gryffindor common room.

I would be interested to see if they suggest some more like this as well! I think it’s a great idea to expand our modular cities by adding those to streets. It’s kinda hard to find those three on PaB webpage so I prefer them to be offical sets. I will buy one of them soon and see how it can fit into my city and maybe modify it. With that modular Winter Scene it makes me more curious to see some winter-themed modular building set.

I can’t rmeember if we talked about polybag for City’s summer “uncle” subtheme but I will throw it out onto here anyways. It looks like there will be a baby gorilla in that polybag. Pretty cool to get an infant that cheap.

Yeah since there is a new deer mold for Bambi in Disney last year, I think we wou see another deer m(without antlers) old for City/Harry Potter fawn for CMF.

Agreed, downloadable games from PS or Switch would be good. When i found t there is new Game Boy device recently, i wished I could play Lego Racers there but i don’t have that game sadly. I also love playing Rock Raider and Island video games, pretty fun to play. Lego Movie 1 video game is pretty neat it i never play the TLM2 video game. Playable Blaktron and Classic Spaceman minifigures are a big bonus!

I was searching for some modular ideas for my city to add and I stumbled upon lego fan website. There are three add-ons and Winter Scene is one of them. You two made some good points. I just don’t mind including some unnamed characrs to Hogwarts or Diagon Alley but i am not just sure about professor. Actaully there were more than 5 (named) ghosts at Hogwarts. We have seen several ghosts at the welcoming fest sene in PS and we saw ghostly knights riding horses. Stil unarmed tho.

Nothing new or exciting but I just noticed there is a modular building add-on pack (via PaB) and there is a Winter Scene set. It seems basic but I think it’s perfect for Modular Building Collection. I am quite interested if they would continue doing that way for Modular building but I don’t set my hope higher.

I’m not sure if we will know who are ghost and professor. I feel like they will be generic?

As far as I know, tha’ts everything leaked we know (just Jim listed above and i mentioend Art’s Milky Way). Of course CMF Series 26 Space wil be released in May.

And it’s PaB, I think you are able to change your order. If it’s expnsive, just build a list and take it to Bricklink or Brick Owl for a possibly lower price. I would like to try this for myself and experiment it with my modular buildings tho. So i will place Vending Station order.

So many potential, new parts, such as troll, flask, minifigure parts… I never get into buildable creatures but I’m kinda curious about Aragog.

Ah good memories…I used to play it on Game Boy and on PC. I wonder if that game could be available again, like we buy it through PlayStation or Switch.
