  1. Yeah, htat’s an excellent quesiton - I do wonder… we have heard that there is a rumored second modular. So we shall see aout it. A year without Modular sounds little…dry. Yeah tan color wold be nice, it’s also an earthly color. But i appreciate that Chris and his design team chose olive green to add some variety to our streets! True, gray bands are worst wen it comes to building trees for modular street. Bonsai Tree set is a fantastic one so I think it can be used for the street.
  2. Yeah just like Bookshop’s split buildings (each building has 16x32 baseplate). One 16x32 building could explain a lot about $130 - it’s my hope to add Asian punch to my modular city.
  3. I just finished reading reviews on this amazing museum set. I really don’t understand why most of AFOLs saying that it’s “boxy” or “blocky”. Generally, buildings are blocky… I have no problem with shapes of different buildings, I really don’t complain about how blocky modular buildings are. I have Police Station, Boutique Hotel, Jazz Club, Downtown Diner, and Bookshop. I will build Parisian Restaurant and Corner Garage when time allows me (since Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming up the alley). The buildings I finsihed are not bothering me about their shapes, I just like them. And I could see olive green as a natural/earthly color for Natural History Museum. It’s making a perfect sense to me. But I get that olive green color is gloomy or dull to other AFOLs here. White pillars are really nice, mimics as marble. I saw the museum sits next to other previous Modular’s and it doesn’t look that bad at all! The size of Brachiosaurus fossil doesn’t bother me at all. It’s clearly a young sauropod, rather than a colossal adult one. Have you ever seen a teenage T-rex in museum close to you? Or a small Triceratops fossil? Anyways, I love that Brachiosaurus’ skull pops through the 1st floor, taking a peek around - it’s cute! I think it’s cool that museum has divided exhibits into time periods. The ground floor focuses on primitive past as we learn about how the nature shaped Earth and how life found its way. On the first floor, we start to look into the bright future - Middle Age, Pirate Age, and Space Age that pay tributes to Castle, Pirate and Classs Space aka “Big Three”. Oh yeah, and I’m really glad that the museum has a lovely cherry blossom. I could see why Chris McVeight included it in this - he rid on other set - Himeji Castle - that was released in August this year. I appreciate that a slice of nature is added to our streets. More greenery for next modular buildings, please! I will not buy this beautiful set until I can buy it in order to get a hotdog truck GWP. Assembly Square is on my Christmas wishlist before it’s gone ffor good.
  4. Will this set be released in 2024? Do we know when it will be?
  5. Honeslty, I really like new mold pieces. Strongman has that singe-piece dumbell mold and I love it.
  6. You might be right but I won’t be surprise. I have seen buildable dumbbells in the modular Downtown Diner set (the gym on the second floor).
  7. Yeah, “Chinese-style building” is super duper vague but it has me interested cautiously! And spring lantern festival set fits nicely into modular city. it would be nice if a Lunar New Year modular is a 16x32 one since it’s $130. Oh and the modular building needs Asian architecture! It’s a long overdue… so it’s just my wishful thought.
  8. Uhh… I don’t know? I mean Boutique Hotel is the 17th modular and it celebrated the 15th anniversary in 2022. 2027 will be 20th anniversary for modular building. plus, there is a rumor about second modular. I don’t feel like it will be a celebration for 20th modular as Natural History Museum is a big one.
  9. There is a new Modular Building set and it’s going to be Natural History Museum! And a modular GWP will be a hotdog truck/van as i heard.
  10. Oh it’s $1,000 price tag on that set. It only contains 9,500 pieces with 150 minifigures! It will have two tall buildings with some cool aircrafts. It gonna be MEGA!! No, I make this up…. Now seriously, there are no piece count or price at the moment. But I feel like the price tag could betwen $200 - $300.
  11. I’m annoyed that these magazines are not available in USA. Is here any way to get those minifigures? Like Bricklink, eBay, etc?
  12. As 2023 is getting closer to its wrap-up, I’m quite excited about these Space sets and that second CMF Series! the black spacecraft still has me curious…
  13. Oh good, I’m so glad I will not spend toomuch to get that GWP or chase after it in the secondary market (such as eBay).
  14. I was thinking about the modular Bookshop set before you posted here - I agree with you that the bookshop has about 1,400 pieces while other half building has remaining pieces to make the “whole” set. So…You could be right about a 16x32 modular building. Plus, there are no Asian archiecture in the Modular Building Collection as of Nov 2. I feel it’s a long overdue. I’m tired of seeing American and European archiecture throughout the collection.
  15. Oh I see! Well, thank for sharing info! I just don’t want to be disappointed if it’s not a modular building for CNY after all. We shall see.
  16. That’s strange - I was pretty sure I saw it avaaible on lego website earlier this year. Probably I miss rmemeber then.
  17. Ummm no thanks. I like it when the classic characers receives a modernizing treatment… I would be interested to see a Basilia the Batlady to accompany Basil the Batlord.
  18. They did release it last year.
  19. So…it looks like BrckClicker reported that there is a Chinese New Year set (80113) and it said it would be a building. I wonder if it’s a modular-style building? It’s only $130. Your thoughts? Thanks for the updates! :)
  20. Really? Now I’m curious but I. Have to be cautious.
  21. Wolf warriors look amazing! I love their details.
