LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Lion King replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Yeah well were wold you place space ses somehwere else if it’s not for City theme? City is generally a not-quite-realistic theme. For example, fire helicopter doesn’t shoot water at all. Or there are some weird-looking race cars (2K Drive ones). Or Stuntz subtheme. Friends has one (i think) space set and that set name sounds realistic to me. There are no weird or wacky sets in Freinds theme. I guess City is a fitting theme for space sets to join. And i don’t mind that at all, i just like wacky sets, lol. -
You are not alone! I am waiting for set names then I will jump into speculations right awa! I am hoping summer subtheme would be focused on North American setting since we haven’t gotten bison, moose, fox, raccoon, goose, fawn.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Lion King replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Well, that’s really interesting…. Only the Lego boxes?? -
I think he is talking about how great Friends are while City sets are…basic. For example, organic market form freinds is much detailed than the grocery store set form City, take a look at shelves. Or how amazing the botanical garden set from Freinds while the park set is…simple. I’m just so glad that City has some more new parts, animal molds, and colors.

Oops,yes i meant to say “cryo-sleep”.

Maybe yu can crypto-sleep until there is a new pirate set.

You can leave a feedback on city products.

Well Indiana Jones sets are …junky wiht bunch of stickers. I want printed parts. I feel like Lego is willing to do an Adeventurer set while Indiana Jones set are till on shelves. We have Star Wars sets while Galaxy Explorer and soon another spaceship set. Sets in subtheme Moments will do better than staring an entire theme.

Marvel Superheroes 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Lion King replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yeah I can’t be ale to catch up reading so many posts. -
I’m not sure why I’m unsurprised to see B-Bay set is voted more than Eldorado.
-
Yeah, it would be “sub-theme” under the main Icons theme. I only know there woul be a new sub-theme under Icons called “Moments”. Creating a new theme just doens’t make sense to me.

Who said there would be a new theme for space-themed set?

It doesn’t matter if it doens’t have a hen in, that hairpiece could be useful for this town square even if it has two visible braids. -

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

I don’t mind classic 16x32 and 32x32 baseplates. I feel like both regular plates would be more expnsive than classic baseplates? But I would love to see a road baseplate to fit into modular buildings! -

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Lion King replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I mean I do wish it’s not a GWP itself. I would like to purchase a small modular set like Vinetage Taxi and Moving Van. bonus point - no stickers for a small modular set *glaring at Moving Van*. However, it won’t be likely to do that since vehicles have to be included in the big modular sets, such as Downtown Dner (with pink cardiac), Corner Garage (with tow truck) and Fire Brigade (with a fire truck). I coud see why Lego designers trying to keep the price point as low as they could if they don’t include a vehcile in a big set but will release it as a GWP.
