  1. I don't know if it was on live tv or not. But 9now in Australia was one of the first places in the world to actually show the entire Legends of Isla Nublar. Unfortunately it isn't there anymore. But I got the DVD now as I loved the show! Problem with LEGO shows is you never know when or IF they are going to be on DVD. Australia still never got the second season of Star Wars Freemaker adventures. We've got the first. So it's just stupid. Oh, and the first two Yoda Chronicles, but not the third. Rofl. I just hope the DVD release isn't too far away if they aren't going to stream it anywhere.
  2. I still can't believe that there is nowhere that Double Trouble can be viewed. Never expected I would get to see camp cretaceous before Double Trouble.
  3. Just had a look for you. It's probably about 2/3 of the height of the buildings. I only have Weasley's and Olivander's facing forwards and the top of the bus was just shy of reaching the top of the top row of windows on both. You might need to translate how the scale works out yourself. To much thinking right now for me. Lol.
  4. Yeah, I know exactly what you are talking about. Super confused about the why and how of it all. But the end result was tense.
  5. Yeah, the white line is literally the bottom of the sticker. I threw out the remains of the sticker sheet so not sure if it just wasn't cut properly and that was the bottom of the printing of whether it just had a white line in the printing. But it's on none of the other stickers that would have been next to it.
  6. I think probably what I see as the most likely set would be a Kayak adventure set with a little dock, 2 kayaks and a parasaurolophus (pink one? ) Oh, and the token Pteranadon! Speaking of the kayak ride, I was like oh S*** when I saw where they ended up! Rofl.
  7. I just had a look at mine, and even though I hadn't noticed it at the time. The Master sticker is the only sticker with a fault on my set too, but it's not quite the same I don't think. There is actually a white line underneath the bottom purple line. I could just cut the bottom of it off, but i'll just leave it. But funny it's the exact same sticker with an issue.
  8. I agree too. I was so excited that we were getting him as a figure, but the figure we got drives me nuts. Especially for someone who is OCD about things being perfectly aligned. Was hoping there was another figure that had similar robes so I could buy off bricklink, but unfortunately there's nothing even close. Why didn't I think of that before... I should just make my own! :-D
  9. Grew up going to the Ansett airport every two weeks as a child as my dad used to do FIFO work via Ansett. Would love to see your MOC when it's done. Still have very fond memories. :-)
  10. Ahh... so it might be the wands, and not the hands then? I might look into that. :-) Also just read that apparently not having the mark on the neck is a CMF thing in general, so that explains that. Still think a couple of the figures have really odd looking faces, but oh well. Lol.
  11. Nothing is really broken or anything. It's more that the hands all just seem to be moulded differently in that they aren't as tight as others. As I also said, there's something a bit off about the faces. The year 3 Ron and Hermione are the most obvious ones to me, their features just feel very spread out or something. Also I noticed they don't have that square grey looking mark on the necks that all figures normally have. They've just always seemed very different to me not just to other figures, but to other CMF figures as well. I thought it might have been some particular "thing" that happened or changed that I didn't hear about it, but maybe i'm wrong. I bought my first lot in Queensland Australia when I was on holiday from Kmart. But I bought extras over time from Target, Kmart, EBGames and Woolworths in Tasmania Australia. So all direct from retail and from multiple locations and sources. Even recently got some Neville's from Bricklink and they have the same slightly looser hands to normal figs. Really thought it was an obvious thing, but maybe it's just me. Lol.
  12. Sorry, I just missed saying CMF. Lol. So yeah, talking about the first series of Harry Potter CMF
  13. Just been wondering, is it just me or is the quality of the 1st Harry Potter Collectible Minfigures series pretty poor compared to LEGO's normal standards? The particular things i've noticed is that a lot of the face prints are a lot larger or at least seem larger as the spacing between the eyes and the mouth etc are further apart. I've also been noticing that the hands are particularly poor quality. The clutch in the hands is really weak compared to all my other figures. They just don't hold their wands as well. They are quite loose and when in a container always seem to be the ones that lose them. This may have been a discussion in the past when I wasn't on the forum, but just wondering if this was all a known thing or if there was a particular reason? But i'm pretty sure that they are literally the poorest quality minifigures i've ever purchased. Just wanted to add that i'm not complaining about the figures or anything, just genuinely curious as to why they seem a bit off compared to other figures.
  14. Are they going to release a wizarding world hair dresser set for where Flitwick gets his hair cut/shaved/dyed between COS and POA?
  15. I read the first two and was like boring... boring... got to Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff and thought oohh... they sounds good. Now I have to get them all! Rofl. Doesn't everyone wear the same thing in herbology? oh... the ties!
  16. Mine are just going to be along a shelf backed against the wall. So i'm assuming you will only notice the backs are missing if you are looking from above right?
  17. Good to know. Thank you. I was hoping that I might just be able to have them lined up and throw my modular Detectives Office and Palace Cinema at each end. Probably wouldn't even notice they aren't complete width from the front.
  18. I have made or am currently making these changes. I asked about this a while ago. I have made the following leg changes: CMF Luna - Long Blue Legs ROR Luna - Medium Black Legs CMF Herboligy Neville - Short Black Legs CMF Cho - Long Black Legs Student Pack Cho - Medium Legs (CMF looks like ROR Cho, so making the other a younger version) Hogwarts Express Harry - Medium Dark Bluish Grey Legs Hogwarts Express Hermione - Medium Dark Tan Legs Hogwarts Express Ron - Medium Dark Blue Legs I ordered all the legs I needed from Bricks and Pieces when I ordered my Diagon Alley. Got Dark Tan Legs with printing, so will need to remove that with Brasso. I'm pretty OCD about these sorts of things myself. So you are probably just like me. Lol. Also happy if anyone wants to chime in about any I may have missed.
  19. Has anyone tried connecting Diagon Alley with Modular sets? Do they connect straight up or do they need modification?
  20. Basically! People are just trying to predict what might be coming next year. The speculation is based on the fact there was a microbuild of the Durmstrang ship in the advent calendar.
  21. It's by far the quickest, cheapest and easiest option for getting a complete series and any specific extras you want. Harry Potter CMF 2 was probably the hardest series i've ever tried to get as so many similiar parts and accessories were in the set. But even so, probably took me 30 minutes to get the whole set plus 2 Fred and George, Ginny and Neville. I've only got 3-4 figures wrong in 10 years, so at $1 below rrp from my local Kmart makes if much cheaper than buying complete sets on eBay or Bricklink. With Kmart's stock checker online being so good too, I am always first to the box which makes it really handy for rare figures too. Got multiples of Percival Graves really easily last time too. Luckily for me right now i'm in an area that basically eradicated the virus so there is no Coronavirus here to worry about at all. But no, it's not fun for me at all. I actually find it kinda stressful, probably due to my anxiety. But I don't know why as it always goes without a hitch.
  22. The little pompom on top is so distinct once you know what you are feeling for!
  23. From someone who has specifically felt out 3 copies of each of the Weasley Twins, the second and third lots from two different shops. Feel straight for the hair pieces, but also keep in mind what you aren't looking for. For example if you feel a skirt, long hair then move on. The beanies are really distinct and easy to feel I found. Once you have a Beanie feel for the accessory. If it's a 2x2 tile. Move on. If it's not. Then you've found what you are looking for. If you've felt for the Beanie first which is more distinct, then it doesn't matter if you are confused as to whether it's a suitcase or book. Also if you come across a new box that hasn't been shuffled about. I found all 6 Weasley figures in my first box sitting on top of the other figures. They weren't sitting horizontal on top, not vertically in line with the others. This was the case with two boxes in two different stores that had not been touched.
  24. You guys could be right about the video games. I remember finding them funny when I used to play them and I found Lord of the Rings particularly boring when it just took audio from the movie. I haven't gone back and played the old ones lately compared to the current games, so I could just be remembering them as better than they were. But I personally found the stories quite easy to follow even with their little grunts.
  25. Hagrid's bike? I was so confused at first trying to think of when Sirius rode a bike!
