Percival Graves (The guy Grindelwald was pretending to be).
-
I was worried about getting a second Graves and I ended up with 6 or 7 of them. Only got two when they came out, but kept finding them months later. Got two more just a couple of months ago. As for your question though, personally might get an extra one of each of the weasleys mainly for their heads for my quidditch versions. But nothing else really. Maybe an extra neville like you.

I looked at the front box art and i'm 99.9% all three are identical. I'd love for them to be unique. But it doesn't look to be the case.
-
Not to mention the fact that if the Diagon Alley release is anything like the rest of the sets were. We couldn't order the sets for over 3 weeks in Australia. So I missed out on a cool LEGO hot rod with two minifigures and got a crappy microscale lamborghini. I was so annoyed. Don't understand why LEGO can't do pre-orders like every other business in the world? Does anyone in Australia have experience buying D2C sets? Should I stay up late or get up early?

Whats the chances of the quidditch uniforms being available in bricks and pieces?
-
I was hoping for more Grey and Brown buildings with the brightly coloured windows. Would have looked really good and really popped. Instead it looks a bit like rainbow vomit to be honest.
-
Yes you have!
-
It's 100% Microscale. They are a new type of microfigure that look like minifigures. They are too small to be able to print on the legs obviously! :-D
-
Anyone else notice the alleyway that i'm assuming is heading off the knockturn alley?
-
They'd been going for so much accuracy and then blew it by putting Lockhart in the wrong coloured robes! :-( *snap*
-
I just woke up from dreaming that Diagon Alley was revealled. As usual woke up to an underwhelming real world! :-/
-
No joke, even with everything we've seen I keep feeling paranoid it isn't even real. Lol.
-
We did actually know that yesterday! It was part of the full description from the LEGO website I shared! :-D But should be cool! :-)
-
Just out of curiosity when people keep saying they expect a reveal at a certain time in the day or it wont happen that day... what time are you referring to and what is the significance of that time? Sounding like it's between 11pm and 12pm in Eastern Australia, so nothing significant about the time here! :-D
-
To me it sounds like the stores are probably going to on the half sized base plates and that LEGO just didn't want to say they are 12.5cm wide! :-D
-
Interestingly... The entire current line up of Minifigure scale Hogwarts (and associated grounds) sets come up JUST short of the Diagon Alley Piece count. This include Great Hall, Whomping Willow, Clock Tower, Astronomy Tower, Room of Requirement, Quidditch Match, Hagrids Hut, Hungarian Horntail, Forbidden Forest, Expecto Patronum and Aragog's Lair. These 11 sets add up to 5,509 pieces! Diagon Alley is going to be like the last 3 years of Magical World of Harry Potter building combined into one! :-D Really hope that is the case for this. I would be really happy if it's split up. My biggest sets are LEGO Ninjago Movie Destiny's Bounty, Avengers Hellicarrier and LEGO Batman Movie Wayne Manor and they are all single books. So I was worried this would be the same case. But you have brought me hope! :-D So excited... this is going to be 2000 pieces larger than my next biggest set! :-D

Just out of curiosity do other people prefer the old LEGO manuals where they were split up by building/section or the new really thick ones all bound together? This would have been a great set to build with my wife with a couple of books each to build simultaneously, but it's probably all going to be bound together in one book which means I will probably have to build with computer instructions (which are never clear).

For piece count, it looks like it is 4th.

I know it's not Harry Potter (And also not a set you can buy). But did you ever see the Winchester Pub set from Shaun of the Dead on LEGO Ideas? That was pretty damn cool! :-D Must suck being 15 years old and not being able to recreate London's Most Magical Shopping Street! Rofl. "This large LEGO® Harry Potter™ Diagon Alley™ (75978) display model gives fans of the Harry Potter movies aged 16 and up a chance to recreate magical London’s most magical shopping street."

Still feels like even with the full description from the LEGO website that there are still so many questions??? Rofl.
-
I'm wondering if the "entrance" part is due to translation as the sentence comes right after the mention of Daily Prophet in the Japanese version, but the English version specifically says the "Daily Prophet Entrance".

I personally had an option up the top where I selected View Text Version Only. It does come up normally for a brief second, but then LEGO's cookies kick in and make it dissappear. But if you view page source or text only version you can see it all. I originally just googled the set number and saw part of the description in the google text, and that's why I investigated further! :-D

Hahaha! I'm 33 years old too and my mother-in-law just asked what I wanted for my Birthday? And I said LEGO! :-D My actual mother would never pay for LEGO! Rofl.

The region for the cached page actually appears to be from "India". Not to say it isn't the same as the US description though! :-) I don't know if there's any further information to be extracted from it, but here is the cached link if anyone wants to take a look: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:k028BnFzsHYJ:https://www.lego.com/en-in/product/tbd-hp-3-75978&hl=en&gl=au&strip=0&vwsrc=0
