Just read Falconfan's post. Just out of curiosity... what is d2c leaking? Is it just a d2c leaking in any manner or is this a particular thing? Also appreciate your opinion on the Gold Figures. Always interesting how different people react to the same things in such different ways.

I just think they will look cool. Might make a little stand just to sit them in front of Hogwarts in the same vein as the Hogwarts Founders with Hogwarts or the Agents of SHIELD with the Helicarrier. Just something special and different I guess! Only just thought... I wonder what outfit they are actually going to be in? The Ninjago Legacy Figures all have different outfits from the different series. I wonder if they will all be different or all just in school uniform?

Is anyone else actually excited for these golden figures? I know i'm actually feeling pretty excited about them, but haven't actually heard anyone else respond positively to them. Just for clarification. There aren't pictures of these. Just the idea of them i'm referring to.

I agree! Personally I'm using the Bell Tower looking set from 2011 that I updated the roof colours on and raised them to math the levels of the other sets. And using Dobbies Rescue (or whatever its called) and room of requirement i've got a nice solid right hand side to my build. So i'm relatively happy personally. But I would definitely love some more official bell towers. Stuff it... So given that we already have Hagrids Hut and Whomping Willow, the only ones you feel we are missing are Owlery and Bell Towers?

Given that they're never going to actually line up to create a full minifigure scale Hogwarts anyways... at what point would people actually feel that their modular Hogwarts is complete? Or at least satisfied if they had to end?

You are definitely not the only one that thinks that. I think it looks terrible! But I will admit, that I'm just not a fan of brick built animals. LEGO is great for structures, vehicles and more. But LEGO does not make for guild minifigure scale animals basically ever in my opinion.

What I think will be interesting is to see whether these sets are the most valuable sets in a couple of years. Everyone saying they are going to skip them, means there wont be a huge flood of them being sold like the 2018-2020 Hogwarts sets (which I reckon everyone is going to have), which could potentially drive up their value in a few years when everyone gets all nostalgic again. Will be interesting to see. Going to be a bit annoyed if the sword of Gryffindor and Butterbeer Mugs are actually the ones from the CMF series, because I specifically bought additional copies of figures just for those parts!

Just a little hint for anyone who now has the links to the Harry Potter sets... If you click the button that says "Catalogo" a little under the images, there is like an 8 page listing of all the leaked sets for the other themes.

It's only the Harry Potter ones I saved. What else actually got leaked today? I think I saw a batman head and 2 ninjago sets, that was it.

I find the brickbuilt creatures are always awful. Wish they would do moulded ones like they used to! At least they don't brick build all the dinosaurs in Jurassic World.

Basically everyone was talking about what sets they were expecting (most of which were DH), and we have had a couple of people who are apparently in the know advise us to "lower our expectations" and that "people are going to be shocked" or something along those lines. So its now assumed that what was expected is now unlikely to be expected. That's a very short rundown. So speculation based on minimal information.

Basically for me i'm hoping I either LOVE them or HATE them. Worst thing I think would be something in-between. Just personal opinion, but I did not really like the moments sets at all, but I got them all for either completions sake or for minifigures. I still feel a bit of turmoil as the whether I should have wasted money on them or not? So yeah, it would be great if they are awesome. But I hope if they aren't great, that they are terrible and I can save some money! :-D

It makes me think of the D2C Jurassic Park set. That was definitely a love or hate situation. So maybe it's a huge Dragon with a piddly amount of minifigures?

I think they were referring to the comments like "lowering expectations" and "you'll be shocked", not so much your joke. Think for a lot of people it's just that these comments get them a bit on edge when they don't know what's going on. Not having a go. Just explaining. :-D

Oh yes, completely forgot Madam Pomfrey. She is top 3 for sure. A non-prison Sirius would definitely be nice to have. But i'm just glad we got him in general. I keep getting excited about all these new minifigures year after year and then put them in a container. Got to the point its feeling too much work to find places for them all in my Hogwarts display! What's everyone imagining when they say the 3 broomsticks wont be it's full width? Maybe just a corner build with only two walls?

So now that we have the basic line up for the first wave and the figures contained therein. Which characters are left that you all feel we are still desperately lacking? Rita and Narcissa are the only two I constantly have coming to mind. I know there's other background characters, and I know we have discussed this after the last wave. But I feel potential Crabbe, Goyle, Cat Hermione, Professor Sinestra, Colin Creevy and Justin Finch Fletchley are filling some nice holes. I've decided i'm still going to remain excited about the second wave as none of the sets we are getting come close to my initial thoughts/expectations, but I now that I've seen what we are getting I am still super excited about them. Deathly Hallows would be nice. But we are getting some awesome gaps filled in our collections Besides personally other than Gringotts there's not too much from Deathly Hallows I feel is a must have for me. Also, don't really know why, but the Gold Figures are kind of exciting to me too.

I personally feel a bit bummed. I prefer having potential excitement for a few months and even if it doesn't exactly meet expectations, at least when it revealed and not what I was hoping for there is still generally something I'm happy with. Instead I just feel bummed six months in advance. That's just me though. Happy it helps those who need to be prepared in advance for disappointment though. But I do miss people discussing the things they were excited about more than the discussion on what is the worst it can be. Lol.
