So... has anyone got any particularly good suggestions on what getting duplicates of the CMF figures might be useful for? Got my set, but wondering if there's any I should get extras of. :-D

Are they likely to be on Bricks and Pieces you think?

Man, I thought I was a Star Wars fan until I started reading these comments. Never even heard half the names you guys are throwing out there! :-D But looks to be a pretty decent set. Excited to see what's inside! :-D

It's amazing how much the black box ruins the appearance of the set. Set looks nice, but now I see why people on the Harry Potter page were worried Diagon Alley was going to come with the black box. I don't care much personally as I don't keep boxes, but sure does downgrade the look of the set. Well, the Mrs is sorted for Christmas now! :-D

I have heard of Bricklink, but have no idea what this "patience" is that you speak of! :-D Also, I bet that Mos Eisley Cantina looks great on the inside, but it's kind of boring to look at from the outside. Which is more the nature of the building than the set design. But yeah, much more excited about my DA! :-D

Are you able to share a picture of the box you are talking about? I've never seen anything like it! Also, has anyone else been first to a box to find that all the fred and georges have been sitting on top of all the other packets in the box? The were lying on top and not in line with the rest and they were all the same 2 figures.

I'm just feeling so relieved that my local Kmart finally got the CMF, so I have managed to feel all 20 that I wanted. Diagon Alley is ordered from LEGO, Advent Calender is ordered from Amazon. I can finally sit back and relax now. :-D Also managed to get the LEGO Roller coaster on Kmart in the 30 minutes it was available for. So that's our family Christmas present sorted too! :-D

I am pretty sure (not 100%) that the sets are sent from within Australia. I couldn't order the Burrow until Australia had stock that they could send out. So if it's from Australian stock which they must have for the item to be available in the first place then the delivery distance should be short just like within europe. Nothing to do with going across the world. It also doesn't explain why it is still sitting in the warehouse, rather than at some postal depot. Also if our stock was coming from supplies half way across the world then the student pack wouldn't still be saying "coming soon" Not complaining or arguing. Just explaining the logic behind my original thoughts. And just checked, our sets get sent from a warehouse in Sydney. I just think LEGO doesn't have a great deal of human resources here. It's just hard not having any idea whether you are going to see your set in the next week or in another month (like my Burrow).

It's absolutely bonkers that Diagon Alley was available to Australians before all of you in Europe and you guys are receiving them (or about to) and ours haven't even been shipped yet. This is why I never buy from LEGO! Rofl.

I'm just curious to see how bad LEGO Australia is this time. I'd put money on Americans having their posted sets in hand before ours even leaves the warehouse. Lol.

Looks like Australia has finally run out of stock. Took a little over 24 hours.

I'm just hanging out for the CMF to be out so I can relax. Always get nervous about having to try and find the CMF. Once I have those in hand I can finally relax... til next year! :-D

I ordered $50 worth of short legs, hair and heads for making additional students. And some mid legs for the Hogwarts Express trio. Got them all planned out. :-D Also bought a Hagrid and Buckbeak Brickheadz! :-D

I just want the CMF to hurry up and arrive in my local area. I've got Kmart, Target and Woolworths pages all open for them and been refreshing them like 50 times a day checking for stock. Been doing it for over a week now! Hahaha!

It's like waiting for the last few seconds of an eBay auction before you place your bid! Rofl. Hopefully it goes as smoothly for you Americans as it did for us Aussies! :-D

Yeah, I waited up last night just to find it was still there when I woke up in the morning! Lol. Oh well, at least it meant I could sleep easy! :-D Thought I was going to knock $90 off my order with my VIP credit, but made the mistake of showing my wife Bricks and Pieces beforehand. So she spent over $70 on cutesy animals from the friends sets! *sigh* There goes my discount.

I'm personally looking forward to the running through the shopping centre stories that are yet to come! :-D Also I've just been thinking i'd replace my batcave with Diagon Alley on my book case. Just actually went measuring around the house and realised I literally only have 8 surfaces in the house that could fit this set and that includes my Son's Thomas table & Drawers, TV stand, kitchen benches and dining table. So basically I have 3 locations remaining. So I either have to convince my wife to get rid of her winter village (Not going to happen), get rid of Hogwarts or get rid of my Blurays.... Guess it's good bye to my movie shelf! :-D

I've got no interest in that personally as I would never pay so much for something Microscale (just not a fan). But in all honesty, I would be very intrigued to see how it was marketed and what it would look like on the box.

How often do new parts/sets show up on Bricks and Pieces? Really curious what this new Diagon Alley set is going to have available.

I keep thinking a D2C Quidditch pitch would be cool. Just thought though... the build would be pretty repetative. Lol.

Glad I bought the student pack from someone online for an extra $10.00. Was originally considering waiting to get it with Diagon Alley, but after 3 months it still says coming soon on the Australian LEGO store.
