I would like to ask for your support for making a Honda CB77 Superhawk an official LEGO set. This is the motorcycle that Robert Pirsig rode across the USA back in 1968. His journey is the basis for the amazing book "Zen And The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance". I created a poster to showcase the model here: http://www.scribd.co...Honda-CB66-LEGO. I also published many photographs at Flickr: Please consider voting for this motorcycle LEGO model by visiting this page: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/53411 Thank you for your consideration Christoph

I am putting putting an old Maersk set, the 1651 Maersk Line Container Truck, back together and I have been able to get a hold of all but one plate: 4x6 in Maersk blue. It is not available via Bricklink and has only been sold there once in the last six months for 2 dollars. Does any of you have this plate and would consider selling it to me?

I started a crowd funding project to produce the first Minifigure Quartet card game. I need your support to bring it life. Please pledge as much or as little at the IndieGoGo project page. Here is a short video that explains the project.

Okay, here is the video in HD. Youtube is really killing the video with its compression in SD:

This line follower uses the new move steering block. That is why its performance is limited. But it is super easy to implement... -

I am beta testing... -
I finnaly got the time to program my little EV3 R2-D2. The new "Move Sterring" block makes it super easy to create a proportional line follower. Still many loose ends in the latest builds, but I am certain they will all be tied up soon. I posted a screen shot of the software here. Have a look at the model at our upcoming LEGO show here in Christchurch: CBS2013. The biggest LEGO show in NZ ever.

I had another go at an off roader, this time with indepent suspension. Crocodile is a robust off road LEGO car that has four wheel drive and four wheel steering. It’s frame is very compact and rigid. It drives fast over obstacles and its independent suspension system makes sure that all wheels touch the ground at all times. I also spread some of my “wisdom” on how to build a well designed LEGO off road car. This might be of interest of a a complete newcomer to lego off road building, but a bit lame for all you expert builders. The got a bit lengthy this time but has some nice slow motion shots of the indepentend suspension at work.

I build a second version of my race car, surprisingly called RACE2. Here is a small with lots of slow motion action shots. See it break going down the stairs. :-) Building instructions and more photos are available here. What do you think?

The 2012 LEGO Minifigure Catalog is now available. On its 170 pages it contains more than 500 minifigures that were released in 2012. I have even been able to include photographs for the ultra rare Super Heroes ComicCon and Toyfair Minifigures (thanks Dan, Greg & Huw!).

Today we are happy to announce the free update of our Unofficial LEGO Minifigure App. We now include Collectible Series 6 & 7 and the Team GB series. Just in time before the Olympics close! Phew, it was a bit of a race to get it done in time. The update also includes corrections and extensions for the other collections. For example, I was finally able to photograph the Comodore Guy (nfi.tow.oth.1997.03, CL001). We hope that you enjoy these new Minifigures and photographs. You can find instructions on how to get the update here.

I wondered if it is possible to reliably identify collectable minifigures by their weight alone. So we measured all the 60 minifigures of a series 7 box. Here are the results. Yes, almost all Minfigures have distinct weights. You find the average and standard deviation in the table. I hope this helps.
