  1. The 42218 has the worm gear, the thin beams and the axles needed to try and copy some polybag sets. The one above was finally approved by RB and here it is. Below you can find the Forklift polybag out of it's parts. I've made cargo for it too. The mast can tilt in the up position too. Uploading it on RB soon if you're interested. 30710 is VERY tempting, but I have no idea what kind of bucket to make for it.
  2. John Deere - Volvo crossover 42218 C-model. Made in 2 hrs, still waiting RB to upload it to their site. The bucket is horrendous, but it can be detached and built better if anyone cares to do so.
  3. Currently my display sets are 5, 2 of which are my MOCs, 1B model and 2 A models. Stashed away it's about 50/50. I sent my stuff for a show last year and didn't bother rebuilding them.
  4. I didn't know the sticker sheet counts too. Since when does it do so? - I've reworked it - those were the parts in question. The brown beam is 11L, I see. Structurally the only place it mattered was for friction on the grabber's rotation. The other 3L were hidden and buried inside. 42218 Final PDF /with steps and pages set up/ - clicky link to .io file
  5. I just spotted it too. I've just made a PDF with the instructions for the model too. As a time capsule I'll keep it and compare with the TLG one. Can I upload and link it here or it's some embargo-breaking stuff that I don't want to see an attorney for?
  6. 42148 had 4 wheel-sized gears and two wheels - I don't know if it counts that way... I managed to rebuild it digitally. IO link I can't figure out the following layout below. Both keep the piece count. The left one uses a singled out part, the right one - parts already in the set. What's better for the pendular suspension - frictionless pin or a blue one? or Cheers from Bulgaria!
  7. Ooh, we get a new grill and bigger headlights. And no flag to wave around. /s GREAT! /s
  8. I see two different colors on the rear axles. So the diff might not be there...
  9. Ok, opening hood is not listed as a feature then. My bad.
  10. So it doesn't even have an engine? edit: it does OMG it has opening doors and it turns. WOW!!!!!!!!!! For I bet less money on release my 42037 cries in the back corner with a diff, hubs, 4x big tires, 4x shocks and space for motorization. I do agree in this "fair" comparison that the BMW has more curves and styling. But I bet it's in the same price range. That's some new heights right there.
  11. mcpherson in Technic is too high will raise the hood/bonnet line and requires a big vehicle to look proportional. 1:8 scale hot hatch as a flagship wouldn't sell as much as a hypercar imho
  12. On a side note - 42009's instructions were low-res before when I built it. Now they're not. Maybe they're hi-res-ing all older instructions. I'll check out and edit this further... https://www.lego.com/en-us/search?q=9398 - this is not working too.
  13. Anybody noticing the new fender pieces that are flat?
  14. Some R34s and earlier Rs had rear steering too. Based on that - <insert "wishful thinking" here>.
